Check in is done promptly…read more Dr Boyer triaged my husband(who has dementia) quickly and with good humor., X-ray done immediately She diagnosed his problem and we left with meds being filled on the spot. Excellent service and staff!

I am/was suffering and while she explained her limitations (which I previously unaware of, but understand), her delivery landed as nothing but rude. At the end of our interaction, when I maintained that I would not have come to see her had I known she could not help, she showed zero empathy. I strongly resented her overtone regarding my visit for a terrible cough that was keeping me up all night. She offered to call in meds that I can obtain over the counter ?!? Surely I had been trying to treat myself with OTC meds prior to resorting o urgent care. Sadly, I will be billed for this interaction. Unless I am dying, I will be sure to look at P.A. schedule before coming in again. Apart from her, everyone has been so kind and helpful. I maintain that it is not about what she could not do for me, a little about what was not relayed to me by her staff before coming in, but mostly about that her bedside manner leaves something to be desired. I am sure she will know this feedback is about her and hope it helps her to see how she is perceived/received in client interactions. With age and experience, I hope she will learn to be humble, thoughtful and kind in her interactions with patients who are looking to her for help.

It was a Sunday afternoon and my husband and I went to this clinic. We did not have an appointment. We were walk-ins. The clinic is Bright and well maintained, and the front desk staff and waiting room was very welcoming. We were greeted immediately upon entering and assisted in signing in. Just sign in and paperwork process is done digitally, which is very convenient. The tech that did my triage, Tyler, was very polite and professional, but also very personable. Although I did have to wait a while once I was taken back into the exam room, it was understandable, considering we were walk-ins and it was a weekend. I had a PA, a student nurse, and a nurse practitioner that all assisted me. The nurse practitioner quickly determined I had a sinus infection and wrote me a script for antibiotics. The visit went smoothly and I received the care and medication. I was hoping for. So, I'm very happy Although I did not need any of the other services they provide, it's a very well appointed clinic with the availability to do virtual screenings and such with providers that are not in the actual building. So, it is a great resource!

What I wish more businesses did, was communicate. I made an appointment with AFC Urgent Care hours…read morein advance without conflict, was able to submit my medical requirements before arrival, and still arrive on time. My appointment was set for 4:30p & I was not seen for an hour+ without forthcoming communication of what the delay was for. I had to ask at least 3 times and their response was just "trying", yet I'm sure if I used that same reason as to why I was "trying" to be on time for my appointment but was an hour late, I'm sure I would've been charged for my absence. I don't appreciate my time being dismissed, especially without communication. But to address care quality once seated in a room, was fine. The staff in that regard was attentive and quick.

"Good afternoon, I am writing to share my experience at your Edgewater, MD location today. While I was impressed by the professionalism and kindness of everyone I interacted with, I unfortunately received an incorrect initial diagnosis. I came in for an x-ray of my pinky finger and was initially told that there were no breaks or fractures. However, I later received a call from PA Ben confirming that a hairline fracture was detected after further review by the radiologist. I understand that medical errors can happen, but I believe it would have been beneficial to wait for the radiologist's report before providing a definitive diagnosis. Additionally, knowing about the hairline fracture, I would have appreciated the opportunity to have my finger wrapped as a precautionary measure. Despite this, I want to commend the staff for their overall care and attention. I hope this feedback can be used to improve future patient experiences. Thank you for your time and consideration." This was my experience in a nutshell. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

I finished my last series of 6 ketamine treatments this past weekend and the experience was nothing…read moreshort of life changing for both myself and my boyfriend who joined me in the process. Here is a my journey... I went into the treatment without a lot of expectation that it could heal my grief. My mother passed away June 3rd from cancer and I was in a state of constant sorrow. I'm so happy to say it's given me an entirely new perspective on death, my Mom's passing, and life in general. I feel less anxious about the big things and I enjoy the small things and view their importance on a much larger scale. Overall I'm just happy, a feeling that escaped me, well really forever. Other observations that I was not expecting: -My endometriosis pain is gone! I've lived with chronic pain for years and I have none now. I was on the brink of getting a hysterectomy, but no need now because I feel back to my old self. -I've almost completely stopped drinking and do not have cravings for alcohol anymore. This was really surprising to me, but I love living with a completely clear head and healthy body. Judy, Kate, Libby and the rest of the staff at The Wellness Mood Center are truly my heroes. I am so grateful they came into my life and helped me through this journey. We looked forward to seeing their beautiful, smiling faces each week, and being showered with their love and encouragement only enhanced the experience. I am beyond thankful for this amazing medicine and all the love, healing, and happiness it has brought to my life. Don't walk, run to the Mood Wellness Center.

I inquired. Miraculously I was deemed a good fit and proceeded with one treatment. Over the span of 3 months FIVE pellets expelled themselves from the incision site. FIVE. I inquired, nicely at first. The nurse that did the treatment said, "these things happen". Repeatedly. No curiosity. She wasn't willing to examine me post-op to inquire into the issue. She did, however, inquire whether I wanted to proceed with the next treatment. Alternately I asked for several weeks to speak with an actual doctor who would be willing to speak with me intelligently. Why? Because the sore wasn't healing and stuff kept falling out of me. Nobody came forth. Not even my regular doc. Instead Dabbs took the cowards approach. He circled the wagons and summarily fired me via Certified Letter. After having been dismissed as a patient I decided to obtain and review my medical records; concentrating on the period of the lead-up and treatment of Testosterone therapy. One record particularly caught my eye, "Medications reviewed.. is using Cialis Viagra for ED issues with some improvement". This entry was patently false. Not only had I NEVER taken Cialis or Viagra I had also specifically denied having any concern remotely relating to ED. BTW apparently Cialis and Viagra are two different medications. The chart entry doesn't even make sense. Either this is sloppy charting or the record was deliberately falsified to justify treatment? I'll never know and I don't care. I still have the records tho. Also - if they try to get you to sign up for their "Wellness Program" ask for details. What is the value added? I think you'll find that the only actual benefit you receive is that they'll continue to see you as a patient. Don't want to pay $700/year for the privilege of being seen by your doc - and paying for it --- in addition to $700? Too bad so sad. :-( My recommendation - get a copy of your records; esp. if your receiving Testosterone therapy. And don't take the wellness bait. It's a scam. The entire medical paractice betrayed me when I actually needed them to speak intelligently to me. They were so frightened of liability that they took the coward's approach. Oh - and Dabb's kept the substantial balance of the "wellness" fee I had paid in advance. Buyer beware.....
