Top on her list was Dr. Ashan. I gave Dr. Ashan's office a call as was able to see her the same week. Her office was easy to find and is centrally located in Lake Forest. Upon entering the waiting room it was apparent the facility was brand spanking new. Everything about the space was attractive, welcoming and comfortable. I liked it already. I was greeted quickly by a helpful and genuine assistant. She took the time to ensure all my paperwork and records were in order. I learned the doctor's appointments were right on time and that she would see me shortly. No more than ten minutes later, an equally pleasant nurse led me to my room. On the way, I noticed the facility was new as well - it was open, and beautifully designed. Dittos for my examination room. It was not only relaxing, fresh and warm, every medical gadget known to modern medicine was accessible and state-of-the-art. At this point, I was very impressed. However, a spectacular office does not an equally impressive doctor make. I was soon to discover how unfounded my skepticism was. Soon after the requisite groundwork and information gathering, Dr. Ahsan entered and greeted me warmly. Instantly she exuded a quality of confidence, competence, and sincerity. Any apprehension I felt was dashed in seconds. Without going into detail about my first visit, I think is it relevant to share that I felt thoroughly at ease and in excellent hands. Dr. Ahsan is both brilliant and charismatic. Not only was her demeanor casual and caring, she appeared to have all the time in the world for me. There is nothing about her that is superficial, impersonal, or perfunctory. The depth of her questions, the time she invested into learning more about me, and her keen insight into resolving my concerns expressed to me a doctor who is at top of her field and one worthy of trusting my family's health. Long story short, while I will be forever grateful and miss our now retired doctor, it's comforting to know she left us in equally capable hands.

After a month, Labcorp charged me $1000 for the draw. This does not make sense at all. I have never had to pay over $1300 for a mere medical exam for immigration purposes. I called Moulton Medical, and they refuse to explain the situation and just said that this is what happens to all their patients. The cherry on top is that the medical exam from Moulton was not even valid due to incomplete vaccination records by the medical center.
