He is not afraid of cases that don't fit the mold. And he is very knowledgeable about all the current treatments, which is of course essential. I've been his patient for almost 7 years and would not trade him for another one. He is very dedicated to his practice and patients. WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING. If you are a looking for a neurologist, who is willing to take on difficult cases too, I would strongly recommend that you make an appointment, even if it may take up to 8-10 weeks for your 1st one. [[As I learned during my quest to figure out what illness was causing me my symptoms, he was the only one that looked at the whole picture and all my symptoms, even the ones that other neurologists dismissed. Another issue I encountered going from doc to doc was that they each kind of specialized in specific illnesses and so that is why a doc specialized in movement issues (example: Parkinson's) kept telling me I must have had a nervous breakdown (even though I was presenting with neurological symptoms).]] One suggestion ~ I am not sure if the receptionist would help or not, but if you make a 1st appointment and you're not sure if Dr. HARNEY would be the right neurologist to go too, you could always ask if he treats patients with this or that condition. Worth trying :-)

He doesn't stop checking on his patient from time to time. He does all he can to make sure his patient is improving. The whole family loves him. Thank you always for everything and happy new year from our family to yours. I would give Dr. Al-Shareef stars!! He is very professional. We have been following up with him for one of my family members. He is the only doctor in the area who discovered the problem. We have been following up with so many doctors for no good results as if we are doing nothing. Dr. Al-Shareef knew about the issue through examining each and every part and through the MRI imaging. Now, since we knew about the main issue behind all this pain, the doctor explained the procedures and the solutions. He wanted to go step by step with all the medications before we end up doing the surgery. He is very professional and caring. He was able to give extra time and efforts. He cares about his patient. After my relative went back home, the doctor called him many times to check up on him and his health and the effects of the new medications. We will definitely continue with Dr. Al-Shareef because of many reasons. The main reason is his constant care. The location of the clinic is somehow far away from our home. However, we traveled all the way there just to continue with Dr. Al-Shareef. We are beyond blessed to find you! My father was blaming himself for not finding Dr. Al-Shareef from the beginning. I will keep updating my post to update you with the results. We are now happy to figure out the reason since we have been trying to know it since 2 years ago! Thank you Dr. Al-Shareef and all the team members at the clinic! They have very beautiful culture in this place. We found a very nice treatment, unlike other places.

It's clear to me that I'm more of a burden to this office than a patient in need of help…read more Dealing with Dr. Nguyen's office has been more of a hassle than a help. Dr. Nguyen was reckless in his questioning of patient on previous abuse in an attempt to prove the…read morecause of patient's injury was due to substance abuse. His questions were not helpful in the purpose for the visit, which was to determine if further medical testing, or rehab, etc. was indicated. This appointment was not made for a psychiatric assessment or for psychiatric care. The appointment was made with the diagnosis already being delivered at the emergency room by the doctor on duty who recommended follow up care with a Neurologist to determine prognosis and course of action. Sadly, this emergency room doctor, who operates out of the same hospital, recommended Dr. Nguyen. The questions that were fired off in a 20-30 initial appointment which was intended to address a Radial Nerve Entrapment, were demeaning and appeared to be intended to shame and cast blame. "How far did you get in school?"; "Have you ever been abused?"; "What do you do for work?"; are a few examples. Since Dr. Nguyen was not acting in the role of Psychiatrist and was not prepared to offer any therapeutic component to aid the patient with the painful memories his questions triggered, then he was doing harm to the patient. All of this questioning plus a brief, minutes long physical assessment in which no further medical treatment was recommended, the injury would most likely heal on its own, was performed within less than 30 minutes. The patient was left reeling emotionally. I was a witness to all of this. I am 60 years old, a breast cancer survivor, abuse survivor, have 4 children, 2 of whom have congenital health issues. I have been to many doctors over the years for myself, my children and other family members. I have never had contact with anyone as reckless in his patient relationship, of course all under the guise of seeking information pertinent to the case. None of the information changed the initial diagnosis, projection for recovery from injury or any of the neurological concerns that the patient came to get help with. Even so, when the doctor gave the final paperwork, he listed the primary diagnosis as: 1.Childhood Abuse - 262.819(based on an affirmative head nod when the patient was asked if they had ever been abused) and 2. Mood Disorder - F39. So, the patient was given by this Neurologist a psychological diagnosis based on a few answers to verbal questions and a head nod. I have NO frame of reference for ANYTHING like this. I worry for the next vulnerable patient who happens to find themselves in Dr. Nguyen's examining room. I have a moral responsibility to warn others.

Please believe the bad reviews! What an absolute nightmare of an experience here! Doctor Rehmani…read moreordered several tests for me to complete. I completed some of them, and I called back weeks before my follow up appointment to explain to the front desk that I was not going to do the MRI portion because I had already spent so much money on the other test, but I did want to keep my follow up appointment to go over my blood test results and change of medication. They said that would not be a problem. The days leading up to my appointment, I get all kind of reminders asking me to confirm, which I did. 90 minutes before my scheduled appointment I receive an email and a voicemail saying that because I did not complete all the test the doctor would not see me, canceled my appointment, and transferred my care to some doctor I've never heard of in Frisco! I called back to their main number and explained everything that happened, and they sounded highly confused. They put me on hold twice and explained that they don't know why they would transfer my care when I didn't request it. They said that my original appointment was still good and to come on in. I asked her to double verify this since I would be driving up there in rush-hour and pouring down rain, and I didn't want to arrive only to be told that the appointment actually was canceled and the doctor wasn't even there. She said that the appointment is confirmed, and I can head on up. Well, as soon as I park the car, I get a call from Ciara Clayton else saying that the appointment is canceled and the doctor is not even there! I told them absolutely not, I had already parked the car and was coming up. I get up there, and the first thing the Ciara does is tell me to take my tone down. I was using my normal voice! You could already tell she did not care whatsoever about what happened. In fact, she had the audacity to tell me that the first woman I spoke to told them that I was lying and told them something completely different! When I told her, let's get her on the phone and see who's telling the truth, she told me that was an aggressive stance and they're not going to do that. I told her that I called in weeks ago and said I would not be completing the MRI and still wanted to keep my follow up appointment, and they confirmed that was fine. No one ever called me back to say that the appointment would be canceled, and they sent me multiple appointment confirmation reminders the day leading up to my appointment. Of course, she told me that they transferred my care to some unknown doctor without my consent and that Dr. Rehmani was not even in the office at the time! This is exactly what I told the first woman to make sure of before I drove in pouring down rain in rush-hour to get to their office just to find out that the doctor wasn't even there and the appointment was actually canceled. These people do not care about you or your healthcare. They have attitude, and you can see that they're already checked out as soon as you start talking. Look at all the other reviews about the front desk staff, and tell me I'm wrong. I'm reporting him to the medical board as well. This is so unprofessional, so outrageous, so incompetent, and patients should not be treated like this ever. I blew $400 just on bloodwork alone, and now I don't even have a doctor to review them with me. Oh, and the cherry on top is that the first woman I spoke with over the phone apparently told the woman I spoke with in the office that I already discussed my blood work with the doctor! I only saw that Doctor one time before he ordered the blood test results! I never went over any results with him whatsoever. This place is a total scam. Oh, and the cherry on top...Dr. Rehmani prescribed me Gabapentin. I told him I was already taking a low-dose of Xanax and asked him if it was safe to take both together. He said that would be fine. That just didn't sound right to me, so I asked my primary, and he said NEVER to take both because it was slow your breathing and potentially cause an accidental overdose!
