We took delivery of the washer and dryer and had a scheduled delivery date for the remaining appliances in December 2025. Ryan asked to reschedule until the new year as he had a cold. We are now in 2026 and despite several follow ups, the management has failed to make an arrangement to deliver the fully paid for appliances or arrange a refund. I can no longer recommend this store.

Sean was amazing he took so much time explaining to us the different brands and even went so far as to bring a washer I was considering to the back of the shop. He hooked it up and let it run a complete cycle so I could see and hear for myself how well it work. Upon delivery of my new washing machine I called Sean to let him know that I did not receive the hot and cold water hose. He explained that they are no longer included but said it was no big deal and he would drop it off for me. To my surprise Sean took time out of his day to go to home depot and purchase the hose free of charge to me and bring it to my house. In this day and age that level of service is unheard of. I am so grateful for everything and highly recomment Appliance Bazaar ok Kennedy to everyone. And I absolutely love my new Huebsch washer. Thanks a million Sean.

We were able to get a bowl big enough for Pho, and this place has a fair amount of dinnerware, but not as vast as expected. They do have a nice selection of different kitchen/small household appliances with reasonable prices. They have dinnerware items of different themes, cutting boards, tons of chopsticks, and so much more. They have a large warehouse at the back for businesses/restaurants I suppose, but this store is definitely open to the public. MC Mart is well known for selling inexpensive Asian name brands rice cookers and thermo water…read moreboilers. I heard about MC Mart from an old Chinese couple who heard about it from another in a senior activities center. So yeah, it is a word of mouth place. MC Mart is located on Passmore, east of Kennedy, where there is absolutely no reason for a retail store to exist. The store is no frills. The sign says it is a wholesaler, which it is, but it also sells to walk-in retail customers. Upon entrance, it is a mess of junks that attract no one. The goodies are in the big warehouse in the back. There you shop for all the well known Japanese, Korean and Chinese name brands rice cookers and hot water thermo boiler. The list prices are artificial, as there is a perpetual 20% discount. Last I shopped a few years ago, the prices were either the same or 5% cheap than the prices anywhere in Scarborough, Markham and Richmond Hills areas. Other than electronics, there are arrays of kitchenware, flatware, and dinnerware. They supply Asian restaurants, so there are shelves of woks, special uses pots, pans and containers, cutting boards, streamers, kitchen scissors, you name it. I don't see name brands for these, but I do see accessories and equipment for Chinese cooking that are seldom sold in grocery stores and other general merchandise stores. There are household cleaning and laundry supplies as well. The mess I can deal with, and there is a logic behind the maze. I am however disappointed that the selection of dinnerware is not good. Where do I go uptown to find nice dinnerware for Chinese food? Maybe this is why I have to travel to Tap Phong still. This is no Tap Phong, but it might be as good as it gets in North Toronto for retail customers.

Buyer beware! We purchased a full suite of LG appliances from the St Clair location. The salesman…read moreconfirmed all appliances, except laundry were in stock before we purchased, and gave us a delivery date of August 13th. We purchased everything on July 19th and were told that laundry would arrive from manufacture before delivery date. We called a week prior to confirm all items were in stock, found out the fridge was no longer available and laundry pair yet to arrive. Every person I spoke to gave me the same run around, "wait a few more days" or "I will call you back", and they never did. We were skeptical of all the ETA dates provided and it seemed they had no idea when the outstanding items would arrive. Of course, any request for a refund resulted in us having to pay 20% restocking fee on items that they did not even have! We did some research and discovered that under the Consumer Protection Act, a business has 30 days to deliver product or a full refund without penalty is warranted. (https://www.ontario.ca/page/your-rights-under-consumer-protection-act). We gave them until Sept 13th to deliver and as we expected, no fridge or laundry pair were available. Spoke to Ramesh at Markham location, laid down our rights, and refund was issued immediately. Worse purchase ordeal we have ever faced! I admit prices are lower here compared to other retailers, but save yourself the headache/stress/time, and spend the extra money with a retailer that can deliver as promised. We ended up as happy clients at CAS (I plan to write a review for them next) On a separate note, during my shopping trips elsewhere after they failed to deliver, most retailers we visited would not price match Billa because quote on quote "they sell new and used appliances, however majority are used or refurbished, and don't arrive in appropriate boxes, like new ones". I can't confirm or deny this tidbit of detail, but just another warning for any potential customers here

They were very quick to respond to all communication from the initial contact on FaceBook to follow-ups afterward. Their store is a little bit out of our neighbourhood but I'm glad I went. To be fair: This store is not fancy. It's about as spare and plain as industrial unit can be, and just filled with a variety of appliances. But the people were friendly and patient with my way-too-many questions and there were no "hard sales" tactics. The checkout process was a bit odd too since we had to travel to their other nearby store to get to the credit card machine. Maybe this should really be a 4-star review since the store / purchase process really could use some polish, but the important things were all on point: the people are nice, we got exactly what we needed, and at a (very) good price. If you need a replacement appliance, it's definitely worth checking out! (Their warranty is pretty great too!)

However, they were pretty rude at the cash and it was then I realized the follower worked there. Then two of them followed me all the way to the car. I don't know if they thought my pregnant belly was a plant or something, but I was just wearing a summer dress and sandals. No where to hide anything. Plus I was holding my wallet. No purse at all. Honestly, I was scared of the two workers following me. I called my friend to tell her just in case they decided to jump me. When I got to the car, they stared at me and quickly put my plants in the back, then drive away. I have never seen such behaviour and I'm still wondering if they were planning to jump or attack me. I will not shop there again.
