He send me the pics with chip cover and said it's was done. The next day I came back to remove the chip and there's still so many roots on the ground surface. Gerry also told me to used the Sawzall or Chisel to remove the roots. Later Gerry text me back and said his Stump Grinder machine wasn't working and won't be able to come out anytime soon. With the help of my helper we've spent one day to remove all the roots that Gerry left behind. I would not recommend this business at all. Stay away !

Sadly I must update this review. For some reason weeds have been a non stop issue with the…read morelandscaping that was done less than a year ago. Within a a month of the landscaping- weeds started growing heavily through the rock beds , and then later in borders and in the concrete dividers. I immediately called the owner and he did send out some young guys to pull weeds and sprayed . He did not come to view himself. Less than a month later weeds were coming through again. I contacted him again and several promises were made to come back but it never happened. I was told by another land scraper that the weed fabric installed was probably low quality and the rocks needed to be removed, a weed killer applied to the dirt , and a higher quality weed fabric relaid. This will all cost me additional money , which I spent $5000 for this yard landscape. Another thing the drips that were installed never properly worked so many of the plants died due to lack of water. I was advised this would be I investigated, and it was not. While I understand weeds will happen over time, they are actually worse now than before? I wanted a low maintenance backyard landscape, which this isn't it.

I found Jeff and his crew when they were working on a neighbor's backyard. I was interested in some…read morebasic yard work in the front - removing grass and putting in new sod, a large mulch area, drought-tolerant plants and a little concrete work. I called for a quote and within days met with Jeff and had numbers in hand. It just so happened that there was also a window to have the work done the following week! The quote was fair and I was very happy to have the project done so quickly. Shortly after the initial quote, I made some changes which resulted in a little miscommunication on a couple pieces of the project. More time would surely have eliminated these concerns, but Jeff and I were able to resolve the gaps in expectations before the work was completed with only minor setbacks. Jeff exceeded expectations with my requests for drainage, which he ran along both sides of my driveway all the way to the sidewalk, and added in multiple drought tolerant plants to add to the design. Upon completion there are a couple small cracks in the concrete that showed up days after being laid, and my hose and mailbox were damaged during the construction (which Jeff offered to replace and re-install), but after having been through a kitchen remodel and other yard projects through other contractors, have learned there will always be minor adjustments or imperfections with any job. Jeff is very responsive, and his crew is hard working and polite. I am very happy with the work and that I was able to get a fair price and have the work done so quickly. The yard looks great and I have had many compliments from neighbors.

He said he would bring plywood to protect our lawn from being damaged by the stump grinder. He was told we needed the stumps ground and the hole needed to be approx 1 1/2' x 1 1/2'. We also told him we would be planting in the holes where the stumps had been ground. He said the work would take about one day to complete. He came on the agreed upon date and time to do the work. He didn't bring the plywood to protect our lawn. In fact the entire job took him only one hour. He had damaged several plants as well as the lawn. He came and told me the job was complete. Unfortunately, my husband who needed to inspect the work, and had been told the work would take most of the day, was not at home to inspect the holes. Diego Huarte asked me to Venmo him funds. He said he was giving me his wife's Venmo address. I didn't find that odd, like I should have. I Venmo'd the funds. When my husband arrived home and examined the work, I immediately messaged Diego advising him that the stumps were only superficially ground and we needed him to come back and meet with my husband to go over the problem with the job completion. He didn't want to spend time meeting with my husband but reluctantly agreed to come back over and complete the work. We had two appointment times neither of which did he show up for the appointment times. He won't respond to either calls or texts. After much research, I found this company is not bonded or insured. I can't locate an address for his business. So now we are trying to warn others not to be trusting with this business. We feel like Diego Huarte was dishonest, had no integrity and is scamming the senior population. I am still determined to go through the courts to get my money back. This is definitely a cautionary tale.
