Scheduling my author headshots session was easy -- LeeAnn was super flexible, rescheduling immediately when it rained on my scheduled date. She reviewed my ideas and came up with the perfect location for author headshots. The photos came back quickly. I'm so thrilled with them, that narrowing it down to just five is going to be hard! I will absolutely recommend her to everyone, and I hope to work with her again.

I really appreciated the phone conversations before the shoot to help her get to know our family in advance. She also really helped with helping with clothing choices. The photo shoot was really great too. She took a ton of pictures and we never felt rushed, but she didn't waste any time either. I have a 9 month old and a 2 year old and they didn't always cooperate, but she was great with them. Wearing a mask added another level of difficultly trying to engage with the kids, but she did wonderful, and we appreciated her wearing the mask while in our home. We highly recommend LeeAnn and if we ever do family pictures again in the future she will definitely be getting a phone call!

Highly recommended for studio work of any kind. His shots are well-composed and perfectly lit from every angle. His retouching is like expertly applied makeup - a ton of work and worlds of improvement and you hardly know it's there. Practical stuff was all great. Turnaround time from the shoot was brief, just a couple of business days, faster than promised. No need to send them back for round two or any reworks, he nailed it on the first go. The studio itself was exactly what you want in a working studio floor - comfortable, packed to the gills with all the gear you might need, and messy like the space of a creative person. The space put me at ease and made getting the shots we needed that much more efficient. Communication throughout the whole thing was perfect and quick. For simple portraits and headshots in one wardrobe I was in and out in an easy half hour after starting right on time. In the end I paid for two shots and he sent me multiple cuts of five shots. For what I paid and the quality of work, I got a great bargain. I expect to use these shots for years to come.

My husband Matt and I spent a lot of time online reviewing photographers' websites and grew frustrated as we couldn't find anything that we liked. Many of them had a stuffy, dated look to them. Dan was referred to us through a family member, and as soon as we looked at the photos on his site we instantly knew that we wanted to work with him. His photos are modern yet classic, and truly capture the joy, beauty and intimacy of a wedding day. When we had a phone call with Dan, and then met him in person for our engagement shoot, our expectations were exceeded again. He is very helpful and responsive with calls and emails, and incredibly friendly, down-to-earth and fun to be around. Spending the afternoon around NYC during our engagement shoot felt like hanging out with an old friend, even though we had just met. Dan had the same ease with our family and wedding party during our wedding day, and we didn't even find out until nearly the end of the evening that he had a very high temperature and was sick all day! He's a true professional -- we never would have known. Planning a wedding is a stressful process (ok, at least for women). Dan definitely made the process so much fun and did what he could to alleviate any stress. We highly recommend him to anyone!!!

I reached out and he was and is very responsible and professional. It's well established that these days, everyone is buying a DSLR and calling themselves a photographer. Mass produced selfie generation, blah. Dan is a true photojournalist -- his pictures follow a story line that he cultivates for the couple and the family. His expertise won't cost a fortune, either. The sweet spot of competence, character, passion and raw talent intersect in his photography. We, new husband and I, are at the age where "everyone" posts their Facebook engagement/wedding/baby photos. Publicly, we have been told by couples that are seriously dating that they will use Dan. Privately, we have been told by married couples that they regret not learning about Dan before their own engagements and weddings. I intend maintain a relationship with Dan for our family photos. I can't wait for him to tell our story as it unfolds.
