As soon as I explained the situation, the first question they asked was where I bought it. When I told them it wasn't from their store, the tone of the conversation changed immediately. They told me they couldn't assist me with the recall because I didn't purchase the mower from them. It felt abrupt--like the conversation was over before it really started. I wasn't asking for anything unusual, just help addressing a manufacturer recall, something that should apply to the product itself, not where it was bought. I understand businesses have their own policies, but it was frustrating to be turned away so quickly, especially for a safety-related issue tied to the manufacturer. I hung up feeling stuck, having to figure out on my own who would actually honor the recall and help get the issue resolved.

I needed a large deck sander(I only have hand sanders and my deck is approximately 400 sq ft) so I contacted Rentals guys in Orangevale and spoke to Jeremy. He quoted a great price for an 12" x 18" electric sander for $70 for the day. To me this was the best quote I found. When I arrived they had the unit ready to go and loaded it in my truck. I have to say, IF you are going to strip, brighten, sand and stain your deck these guys have the right tools to make you job that much easier. Please note that when you rent the sander you will also need a pad and sand paper. They also have that in the shop. So, if you have a big deck project. Check these guys out. You won't be sorry.

I asked what time do you close she said 5pm but you would return it tomorrow I said ok its a small rug will only take a few hours. I have been renting rug cleaners from this location for YRS so I knew I could rent by 3-4hr ect. The woman ant the desk asked for my number and she already had it in there computer. I paid for the rental and then left. I returned 2hrs later. When I returned there was a man at the desk he processed the paperwork. I asked if som of my money would be returned since it was not a full day. He stated they do not do that. I asked why not since that was something that i was always able to do prior. He stated that is something abba used to offer... at that moment I realized the company was not the same and that's why it looked different inside. I have no idea how long ago it changed but something could have been said. I believe there was enough to see I did not realize they were not abba. I spent way more then I needed to on a machine I could have rented somewhere else for a couple hours.
