Nothing but positive things to say about this place! Andrew Siva was a miracle worker. I thought I'd dread going to PT....it was the complete opposite. The entire staff made my 4 month experience a real pleasure. The ladies up front, were always friendly. The aides were knowledgeable, helpful and fun to be around. My experience with this physical therapy office went very well. All the staff were helpful and courteous. Appointments were very on tract with their scheduled times. Over the last 20 years, Greg and All Star PT have been stellar....and I mean stellar! 100% successful rehab of a torn meniscus, torn rotator cuff, lower back pain and total hip replacement surgery. Greg and Staff are compassionate listeners, friendly and very knowledgeable, In particular, I called Greg with a severe lower back pain thinking my water skiing and wake surfing days were done. In the past i have had PT with several businesses. The All Star on Hwy 79 is absolutely the best ever! My evaluation with Therapist David convinced me i came ro the right place and would be well cared for. The admin staff, Nallely and Jerilyn immediately made up a schedule for my treatments. Always so very efficient and pleasant! My treatments were administered by the most wonderful Therapist, Andrew, whose knowledge and TLC got me through a painful TKR recovery. The Aides that assist (Stas, Johnny, Roy, Jared & Josh) are all amazing. They really keep things moving along efficiently and kept me smiling! I will miss this group of wonderful people. I asked to be assigned to a different physical therapist because the physical therapist that they assigned me to I could not understand her because of her accent and was concerned that she weighed about 90 pounds and I weigh 230 pounds and I didn't feel she could be effective in treating me. Didn't find it very good at all. I went for a long time and finally got the courage to find another physical therapy place. After going there and them knowing that I was still in pain and had plenty of visits left from my doctor. they never called and I feel that they aren't involved in the health just the wealth. Too many T.V. guys watching and patient sitting waiting. Glad I left. read more

I've been to physical therapy twice before, once for a shoulder and once for low back prior to being referred to All Star. My visit here was for a back spasm and I went for 6 sessions including consultation/exam. My first contact consisted of filling out a lengthy questionnaire plus the usual medical forms and also included reviewing the questions with the physical therapist. I have to say the exam was thorough, if a bit "clunky." The way some of the questions were asked using some medical jargon I wasn't familiar with made it difficult to answer without having some of the questions put into plain English. I expected to come back for the first treatment but they had me lie down on a heating pad with electric stimulation for 15 minutes or so. When it was time to get up from the table I was in more pain than when I came in. It was sheer agony trying to walk to my car to go home. I made sure to mention this next time I came in and they had me sit up in a chair and it went better. It did help and I learned that with my back I cannot do "stim" lying down. I have to give them credit for having a physical therapist work with me for most of the 50 minute session. A PT assistant usually had me do a few things to get started, or set me up with heat and stim at the end. The therapy that All Star provided was very low key compared to another office that treated me for the same problem. I remembered several of the exercises I learned at Coury & Buehler and did those twice a day at home because I wanted the pain to be over sooner. I do recommend All Star PT! read more

I've got to leave another raving review for this All Star Physical Therapy location four years later... My husband and I continue to go to this business at THIS location because of the Physical Therapists, support staff and office managers - Geralyne and Noelli. They are nothing short of AMAZING. My husband saw Scott for his knee and shoulder surgery recovery and I currently see Scott for back issues. Scott is extremely knowledgeable in treating the affective area in need. He is also friendly and easy to talk to. Scott always makes sure we have plenty of information relating to ways we can prevent further injury as well proper knowledge of strengthening our recovery process at home in between sessions. I don't know where I would be today without the help of All Star Physical Therapy - in all likelihood significantly disabled. After undergoing left and right hip replacement surgeries in 2017, followed in 2018 by a third surgery due to complications from a hip fracture during the first hip replacement, I had lost most of my strength, evidenced by difficulty standing or sitting for any length of time, and I was unable to walk/limp more than three minutes without stopping to allow the pain to subside. Today, my quality of life is enormously improved, thanks to the knowledgeable competence, genuine caring, and constant encouragement of the staff at the Rancho Pueblo location, especially two physical therapists, Greg Smith and Andrew Atkins. Their wonderful culture is reflected by each member of their staff, all of whom know me by name. Last week I reached a milestone; I walked one mile on an uneven road and wet grass! I now need to see my physical therapist just once a week, exercising each day on my own, and I gain a little more strength each week. I don't know how someone would recover from a condition like mine without the benefit of a knowledgeable physical therapist. Yes, I have pain after PT, pain that I wouldn't have previously termed "normal sore," but I have learned that in my case, this is mainly neuromuscular pain, which continues to lessen as I work toward regaining normal strength. At my last post-op appointment with my surgeon, he advised aggressive exercise. He explained that regaining normal strength, even with aggressive exercise, could take me as long as a year. If I would have simply exercised on my own - without the involvement of my physical therapists - I would have incorrectly concluded that the pain afterward meant I was harming my body. I would have backed off - the exact opposite of what is actually restoring my strength, lessening my pain over time, and improving the quality of my life. Just three months ago, following my third surgery when I started PT again, I doubted that I would ever fully recover. I now feel I will dance in the not too distant future. I've been to All Star Physical Therapy in Vista, on three different occasions treating three different/separate issues. Currently, I'm being treated by Brandon Raslowsky, for vertigo/dizziness, called BPPV, due to a head injury and possibly a mild concussion. My PCP suggested that I go to Physical Therapy. I had my doubts because who goes to PT for dizziness? Upon researching, I found it quite common to go to PT for this type of diagnosis. Pleasantly enough, my BPPV has improved, and I'm now able to go back to yoga with modifications, of course. Brandon is very professional, methodical and knowledgeable. From the front desk crew to the therapists, everyone in this office makes you feel like family. I have been over 40 times for my injury and between me and my therapist we met every goal that we set for me. I did not think I was going to recover until the end of my recovery window. Because of the goals that were set and the homework I was given, I recovered 2 months sooner than I was supposed to. I could not have recovered that soon had it not been for the homework I was given outside of therapy. The therapists know how to get you back to 100% in a quick and safe manner. I am so glad that I went to this office for my recovery. When I was cleared to go back to work with no restrictions, by my surgeon, the whole office shared my joy and excitement. My therapist was Chelsea Rendahl - a very good one. This before the COVID days and I was very impressed with their punctuality, readiness and full engagement from the moment I walked in. I had a full 50-minute workout and I was very satisfied each time. I've just finished PT for my second knee replacement. Scott was my therapist both times and I couldn't be happier with the care I received from him and throughout the whole process. From the time I walked in the front door, the gals at reception were kind and welcoming and remembered my name though they see hundreds of patients every week. I was taken back to the treatment area and all of the staff was very attentive, knowledgeable and encouraging. I regret coming or choosing this place, all they do is chit chat with one another. I was always left alone doing my own exercises not even checking if I was doing them correctly. One DISGUSTING thing I notice it that PT don't even wash their hands after dealing with a patient and moving on to the next. It's gross that they massage other people then touch you with their sticky hands. The PT that was working on me only spend 10 mins hands on. The rest of my time I do my own exercise. Their focused is not even to make me feel better, but to just make money. This place is cramp, and crappy. read more

You're supposed to get better when you go and have physical therapy right! Well it was the opposite the PT that l saw gave me some exercises to carry on daily for my shoulder but every time l do them l felt worse, so when l told her that she said that try to do less and that these exercises worked before on other people (what an answer l got). I canceled my other appointments and stopped going. It's just a waste of time and money. read more

On the positive side...I was appreciative of the specialized therapy that they offered. Also, most staff in the office were professional and friendly. However, for much of my session, I was left alone to do the exercises. Some of which I was unsure if I was even doing it right and because I was focused on using "damaged" muscles, it was hard to remember my counts. I would have preferred to have more coaching, support and reassurance from the PTs at All Star during my session (they seem to rotate in and out of the session). I also would have preferred that they challenge me more as my time is precious and I want to make the most of the time I devote to PT. I am looking for results in as little time as possible. I have been a fitness instructor for much of my adult life so I am well aware of how to do exercises and chose to carry out the remainder of my therapy at home since I wasn't getting the attention at All Star. I plan to try out another business for my future physical therapy needs. I'm sure this place works for some, but it just wasn't a good fit for my preferences. read more

I came to All Star after months of low back pain following my first pregnancy. At first I was reluctant because I didn't know if therapy would actually reduce my pain, but after my first visit I thought the therapist was very knowledgeable and I decided to stick with it. After 8 visits I can now report that I am completely pain free and I have learned effective home excises to help prevent the pain from coming back. I was in a motor vehicle accident in October. I had severe neck pain. When I came to All Star Physical Therapy I was in a lot of pain. Now in April I feel a million times better! It is important for the first contact of a business (receptionist) to be friendly and welcoming; the older receptionist is very rude and cranky. Regarding my treatment plan, I was advised, abruptly, that I could not use the heating pads, after treatment, for no more that 12 minutes. I need them for 20 minutes and I had been doing this for several months. What concerns me is that I was not asked if the 20 min of heat pads was imperative to my healing, (which it is) and when I spoke with the owner/manager (?) and expressed my concern, he stated, "it's our policy" and I was asked "who was it that let you use the heating pads for 20 mins?" When I expressed my concern that it seems as if patient treatment is not the priority, he repeated the "policy". Sad because I really liked the therapist I was seeing. However, when policy trumps patient need I have a huge concern because the company priorities are out of line. Very disappointing. I moved on to another PT business that puts patient needs first, communicates with me about my treatment needs, wants the best for me and lets me use the heat pads for 20 minutes and wants my business. read more

I've been going to All Star on Pueblo Road for about a month now to recover from shoulder surgery and also a PRP injection for golfer's elbow. Michelle is my therapist and she is awesome! I'm sure the other therapists are good too, but I would recommend asking for Michelle if you go to this location. All the therapists spend time with their patients, unlike other PT clinics I've been to where I would barely get 5 minutes with the actual therapist. Their facility is clean and professional. All of their staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. read more
