One time, a friend visiting me wanted to go go-karting so I bought us tickets. It was $25/person to go around about 7 times. I was given a kart that couldn't turn right unless it super slow so I had to slow down drastically every time. I eventually got ran into which put my kart out of commission for the rest of the rounds. It was no fun at all and I should have been offered a refunded since I couldn't even do the activity I paid for properly. I've also done this selfie golf which is okay but it just wasn't for me. I could tell it wasn't well cleaned or maintained. I've tried both of the bars which had great bartenders both times. The drinks are way overpriced just as the food is as well. It's about $25 for some chicken wings which they didn't even bother to try to make look good on their menu. Your first time there, you have to spend a minimum of $20 just to get a pass and some of the popular games aren't even working properly. You can get this thing called a rainbow pass where you can play certain games unlimited for a set period of time but it limits you to only the shooting and driving games which get tiring after 15 minutes. Overall, I really wouldn't suggest people going here unless you want to take a loan out for mid-tier games and overpriced food.

Both are great spots to hang out with large or small groups. Local at its best! At the time of this review, I've been to Walters on multiple occasions and have enjoyed consistently friendly and fast service, great drinks and really tasty food from the kitchen each time. They stock a great selection of favorite beers, domestic and imports, and the bar can pretty much mix up anything you want. I can vouch for the margaritas! Hot from the deep fryer, Walter Bombs pair with anything-they are HUGE tater tots, crunchy on the outside, moist and piping hot on the inside. Now that the pandemic is on its way out, I hear Walters is gearing up to bring back some of their special events (yes, I was eavesdropping at the bar). We were able to bring in catered food and had a nice area with a large table for gifts, cake, etc. It seemed like they had assigned us about half of the bowling alley; I saw non-family members on one side when we first got there, and others coming in as we were leaving. That left us plenty of space and four or five lanes to bowl in. Bowling and shoes seemed to be included with the rental. While it was a nice party, this place does have a couple of quirks. For one, I could not find a weight on any of the balls I tried. Isn't that kind of important information for bowlers? I had to just keep trying until I found one that fit my hand. Another weird thing was that they combined groups of bowlers and moved us across lanes. Like, I was bowling in a group assigned to lane 13, but the system would shuffle us in with lane 14 so sometimes you'd bowl on one side and sometimes on the other. This made it so that sometimes you bowled twice like one turn right after the other, and sometimes you sat and waited for a long time while everyone else cycled through. I really just did not understand the logic there at all; it did not seem to make the game go any faster or anything. Finally, Belmar has that classic bowling lane smell: decades of cigarette smoke seeped into the surroundings. Perfectly fine, nothing outstandingly amazing or horribly awful. A solid 3 stars.
