I was blocked on their Facebook for posting this. Vision lanes is terrible - Unfriendly front desk staff/security. - Pay by the hour (not game). - consessions staff rude and not helpful. First off the staff at the font desk is rude and ignore you. I was standing there to ask where the children balls are located and I was ignored by multiple staff members so I. Just walked away. You have to pay by the hour so if you get food I hope you bowl fast because there is no time to finish two games in an hour if you have 4 or more people. At the concession counter we ordered over $50 worth of food and drinks and I asked for an ice water and was told rudly "no I can't give you water in a cup, you can get a bottle or fill a cup out of a water Jug." Well im not drinking out of a nasty water Jug so I guess I have to by a water bottle. If you want to have a good family fun time I'd recommend Westland Bowl or Town and Country!!!! read more

Horrible place. All of the employees have a major attitude. One employee accused me of stealing bowling shoes I had on while I was bowling. When I received my bowling shoes from a different employee, I told him that my debit card had a tab open at the bar and he told me okay cool don't worry about it and gave me bowling shoes. Now when the employee accused me of stealing the shoes I told home to talk to his co-worker standing right next to him who gave me the shoes. He ignored it and persistent in his accusation. Never coming back here again. Also the music is awful !!!! read more

Worst bowling experience I've ever had. If I could give it a 0 star I would. It's smells like booty crumbs and the lanes are drenched with coochie grease. Ghetto as hell. U walk in and there's a metal detector cuz mfers be wildin. Only good thing about this place is the Lipton ice tea (peach) u get from the vending machine. Btw if u come here and u think of using the bathroom, don't bother. You'll walk out lookin like mr. bean on a Thursday afternoon. The last time I was in Vision Lanes was well over a decade ago. I went to watch a friend of mine that bowls on a league, and her team did very that night. Back then, smoking was allowed in bowling centers throughout Michigan, and the ventilation in this place was fair at best. Needless to say, I felt uncomfortable, and had a very difficult time breathing. However, I am happy to report these nightmarish days are now over. Two years ago, Vision Lanes was completely remodeled, and place looks absolutely fantastic. Gone now is the putrid stench of cigar and cigarette smoke. They now have new automatic scoring from Qubica-AMF, and 32 fully modern synthetic lanes. In addition, they have full-service pro-shop that is run by PWBA bowler Lisa Bishop that can help you with any of your needs, from drilling a new ball to resurfacing an old one. Moreover, the food at this place is outstanding. We all know how bowling a few games can really work up a tremendous appetite. The All-Star Grille features a vast menu with some great selections that would satisfy any craving you might have. I've only tried the pizza, and it was above average all the way, which is amazing since most people think of pizza from a bowling establishment as being second rate to the larger delivery chains. Personally, I'll take the pizza from the All-Star Grille any day over Dominos, and Mr. Pizza. So if you're looking for a great place to throw a birthday party, or a bowling event, Visions Lanes has the space, and 32 fully modern lanes to prove it. Likewise, the staff is very friendly, and helpful and will assist you with your needs. Beer? Good. Food? Good. Company? Good. My many gutterballs? Not so good. Came here with some friends to go bowling on a Sunday night. Seems pretty old school, but that's what's nice about it! We bowled around nine o'clock at night and it was pretty busy. I gave four stars because it seemed kept up pretty well, besides the bathrooms. When I went in the restroom it wasn't well kept much at all. I'm just happy I hit 100. We plan to come back, they got karaoke! read more

I went here on a one-time visit. We got our lane quickly and there were no breakdowns or anything. Everything ran smoothly. It was $2 Tuesday, so I think games were $2, shoes were $2 and domestic beer was $2! What a deal! Came here on Saturday night to partake in some bowling and then some poker action in the Charity Poker room. The alley itself was pretty standard- a decent amount of families and kids around enjoying themselves... the bar was a little dark and dingy- apparently the karaoke at 10:00PM brings out a fair share of 30's-40's ish Westlanders that hate RockStarz as much as I do. I did okay open bowling with my friend and then we went to hit some poker. Cannot comment on the food as I ate before coming out, however, the nachos and pizza that another poker player ordered looked decent, but pretty much mass produced. As for the poker, they have 1:00PM and 7:00PM tournaments on the weekends for sure, I don't know about week days, and the turnout was solid- for the Saturday night they had about 7 full tables, 77 people I think, with no rebuys and a good starting stack of $30,000 in chips for $35+5. I happened to make the final table and cash for $150 in 5th place- so an actual 10% of people got paid, and it lasted until right around 4-5 hours altogether, which works out to a good evening overall. I did not have time to play in the cash game, but they did have 2 tables going after the tournament's first break, and some good action. Overall, bowling is decent here- don't expect a high class establishment, and you won't be disappointed... and the poker here is a good mix of regular tournament action and decent cash game action. There is a waitress that is pretty attentive and food from the bar available almost all night- only drawback to this place is that theres some massive potholes in the parking lot and the chairs are not that comfortable (they are mostly banquet chairs). But if I had more time, I would definitely try more torunaments here in the future. read more

This place should be ashamed to be serving the community. Upon arrival my family and I were greeted with total rudeness by the employee (older white man with a huge gold watch) serving the register. His first words were if yall don't have ID you cant get in. I responded saying a welcome would be nice before you start barking rules to us. He then replied do you have ID or not. Save yourself the time and spend your money supporting another local business. After checking in we were told there was a 20 minute wait so we decided to grab food and a drink at the bar. Food was terrible and service was awful. After an hour our name still wasn't called... the staff had just forgotten about us. Owner was extremely rude and refused to let us move our table away from the group next to us to conform to COVID restrictions. Even keeping mind that a lot of small businesses, especially bowling alleys, are struggling right now, I would much rather spend time and money supporting any of the other well run, cleaner, nicer bowling alleys in the area. read more

I was recently at vision lanes to purchase a bowling ball. The staff at the front deck is amazing and polite. On the other hand the women who run the pro shop, Lisa Bishop was very rude and impolite. I would never recommend attempting to purchase a bowl from here. read more

Me and a few of my family members came in last night and boy we were in for a treat and didn't even know it. First we get there and we're greeted by a very rude and racist security guard. We then go to the area to get our shoes and the lady their was not too bad just doing her job being semi friendly so no problem there. But once we sit down and begin bowling not even 3 rounds in the racist security guard tells us we have to leave for having outside liquor. So fine we understood even tho we could have gotten a warning seeing how we already paid for an hour of bowling and was there 5 mins. So we go to see if we can get our money back for our food we didn't receive and they refuse to give us a refund even tho the food was not done and we were not getting it. So we finally settle with waiting for the last box and just taking the food with us. And then to top it all off my burger was burnt and hard on the edges, the onion rings were soggy and not even done all the way and they gave us no salsa for our chips. And the young punk working the food register was very rude calling us trash and saying we don't want you here when we're simply asking for our food or our money back. read more

I had a blast here i took my kids, nieces, and nephews. The guy at the front counter was full of awesomeness. He was happy fun and very patient with my crew. We payed had our shoes and our names typed into the screen in less then 10min and i had 9 kids with me! This was our first time here and surly not the last.. MY LANE KEPT RESSETTING!!! My friends lanes kept switching over. Balls would get stuck at the end of the lane. Pizza was okay. Prices were pretty nice cheaper than others. Atmosphere of the place was nice. Workers are kind, but one of them wasn't very clean and didn't have nice clothes for where he is working. read more

I attended a birthday party at Vision Lanes this past weekend. I want to warn everyone about this place! The party theme that was picked was not there, they had mismatched tablecloths. There were NO decorations, as promised. Fifteen minutes prior to the start of the party, the room still was not set up. The parents had to go to work and get it set up. They frantically made calls to people, asking them to pick up different things, just to make their child's party somewhat festive. However, all of that could have been overlooked, except for one thing. IT WAS FILTHY! The floors were disgustingly dirty, the stacked chairs were ripped all to pieces, there were loose electrical conduit poles propped up into the ceiling, and when touched, pieces of the ceiling tiles fell on your head. Half the games didn't work. The staff was rude, and complained when asked to provide a pitcher of water for the adults in attendance. All in all, kids are kids, and just care about having a good time. Unfortunately, adults view things differently. And, since the adults are the ones paying the bill, I think they would do well to make the appearance of the party room more "acceptable", because this absolutely was not! I would NOT recommend this establishment for your child's party. Sorry, Vision Lanes, not a fan. :o( read more
