Besides being professional, extremely competent, impeccably responsive, and a pleasure to work with, he is one of the most ethical individuals I have ever met. He truly cares about his clients, and his own work ethic is second to none...a rarity in this day and age! Logan is also very versed in how to deal with insurance companies and was there through all the steps starting with helping us get the claim filed and being present when the adjuster came out. Our claim was pretty difficult to deal with, but Logan was patient and there throughout to consult with until we finally got approval. For the actual job, it was so well run and went so smoothly. Materials were delivered the day before, along with a dumpster. A large crew arrived the next day and completed the bulk of the job, working a very long day. By mid morning the next day, everything was completely done and all trash removed. Logan checked on the job multiple times and took drone pictures throughout, as well as communicated with me, keeping me updated. Topps was like a well oiled machine. Huge kudos to contractors that show up when they say they are going to and then go above and beyond on the promised work. We do not take this for granted AT ALL these days. Logan was present on my replacement days too. There was ZERO surprises :-))! My roof replacements took one day each, but the entire project took over 2 months. There were minor delays due to rainy weather and copper shortage post Covid shutdown...which Topps (or anyone) couldn't control. I appreciate Logan, Brook and TR team guiding me through it all. After all, it's not often a home owner has to replace a roof! My roof replacements recently completed and I'm very happy with their work. My new roofs are beautiful... never thought I'd describe roofs as such - ;-). It's like the feeling you get from your new car smell or a new pair of handmade shoes. TR crew was definitely had their installation process down and they CLEANED well after the main roof replacement! Metal / Copper roofs they subcontract out but over saw the process. Logan came by after to make sure I was satisfied with the replacement. Timely was Logan to follow up on minor things like a window screen damage I found after their shingles installation. He got it fixed in less than a week! TR offers quality materials from a reputable national manufacturer with decades of warranty and they stand by their workmanship and both my copper and shingles roofs have a labor warranty. Perhaps most importantly for me, Logan was solid at managing my replacements and genuinely interested in making me happy with their work. We had a roof installed by Universal Roofing in Fall 2023. Everything seemed fine at first…read more During a siding replacement this year, the siding contractor discovered the drip edge, which is a component of the roof, had been improperly installed. It had been nailed to the fascia instead of the roof decking and tore off as a result. We contacted our project manager, David Locke, assuming the improper installation was a roofing error. He told us drip edge was "out of scope" and not installed by Universal Roofing. Essentially, we were told it was not their responsibility. However, after doing our own follow-up, our insurance company confirmed Universal Roofing billed and was paid $2,034.32 for drip edge installation. So the company billed for drip edge, did not install it even though the existing drip edge was improperly installed, and then denied responsibility. Our home now has no drip edge and the roof is not code compliant. Correcting this could require invasive work that may affect our warranty. We contacted the company multiple times seeking resolution. Management never responded. The only replies came from an administrative assistant, with no resolution offered. I would recommend going with another company.
