We had used All Solar to look at our gate since 2017. The gate has died multiple times and they replaced the battery, the charger twice, the receiver, and the circuit board twice. The latest circuit board was replaced in May and when the gate didn't open again in October, we called another company to look at it. They said the circuit board didn't work. We had a one year warranty on the board, so we called All Solar and he refused to even come look at it. He told us to call the circuit board company. He was very rude and not at all helpful. Highly recommend All Solar Gate for electric gate repairs. Kelly Esquivel, the owner, is very knowledgeable and helpful. He is very reasonably priced too. He recently fixed our driveway gate, in which the arm had come loose due to being poorly soldered when it was originally put in over a decade ago (only soldered on 2 sides vs all 4). Extraordinary service! Called on Tuesday evening and Kelly came out the next morning. The issue with the gate was fixed within a few minutes, no hidden charges just the $95 call out fee. We also purchaed a new remote from him, which was only a few dollars more than the same from Amazon, however, this one came with a battery and was programmed by Kelly. Would HIGHLY recommend. All Solar Gate is a family owned and operated small business that is based in Watauga, TX. But, they will travel to just about anywhere in the metroplex to do gate installations, service, ect. Kelly Esquivel, the owner, is very knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. He comes out and does most of the work himself, with the assistance of his son. They are reasonable in their rates, and don't hit you with a bunch of surprise charges in the end, or try to nickle and dime you with extra fees. They do good work, and I'd certainly recommend them if you are in need of electric gate work, either solar or hard wired into city electric. read more

Terrible Customer Service! Called based on a recommendation from a friend. Left a voice mail in the morning, call wasn't returned until I tried calling again late afternoon. The person I spoke with took my information and said someone would call me back. No one called back. I called again the next day and asked about someone coming out and they said someone would call me back to confirm. No one called. I called another fence company, get a confirmation right away on when they would come out. Just received a call from All Solar Gate to come out and I told them I already called another company since I haven't heard confirmation from them. I told the person that called I never heard back confirmation from them and after a short conversation explaining he hung up on me while I was talking. read more

Highly recommend to AVOID from this company. In August of 2014 they came to fix our gate - Kelly checked it and confidently insisted that there was an electrical problem with our old gate - and that we needed to hire a licensed electrician to fix the electricity (he admits is NOT an electrician). We hired Daniel Electric on Sept 2 2014 (a Southlake based certified electrician) to supposedly repair this electrical problem - (we have the report from them in hand) who found absolutely nothing wrong with the electricity, and was puzzled how anyone with even a basic knowledge of wiring or someone installing a gate could think something was wrong with the electrical connection in question. After a $125 invoice from Daniel Electric and a written report from them - we made the mistake of engaging All Solar company again to install the brand new gate. ($1800.00) Kelly refused to reduce the price of the new gate by the amount we unnecessarily had to pay the electrician. ($125.00) Then 7 months later the gate stopped working. We called All Solar for assistance - only to find hostility, unprofessional conduct, no follow up service, and a complete refusal to help us at all. The reason stated by Kelly: "you have an electrical problem" and "your wife gave a poor review on Angie list". I had to contact the gate manufacturer for assistance. Upon further investigation - it turns out All Solar had improperly installed the wiring in the gate control box mechanism with a spliced INDOOR extension cord , and a bunch of black electrical tape. This in an outdoor unit ! in summary - from our direct experience and in our opinion - if you want a sloppy, jerry rigged installation, service problems, no followup, and a hostile attitude on top of it all - then use this company without hesitation. read more
