My scheduled appointments were changed a few times. My first appointment was for x-rays and cleaning. Many x-rays were taken. Then I was presented with a treatment plan. We can do a couple of things today...one being a crown. I ended up with a temporary technician. She did a terrible job. No cleaning. Please let me say, they are great salespersons. I asked for the other dentist. Oh, and my dentist won't be available for my next appointment. I was scheduled for a day she's not there. Why was I scheduled? Next was my crown. Didn't work good. I am to drive to Garland for a lab appointment because they couldn't match my tooth color. I'm told my tooth is translucent. Then a partial cleaning for about $248. She didn't even polish my teeth afterwards. Partial. They've exhausted my insurance. And there are two teeth needing immediate attention. Why didn't they take care of them FIRST? I'm deeply in regret and out of money. read more

My experience with this dental practice has gone completely downhill over the last year. After being a patient for five years without any issues, I now strongly recommend that others go elsewhere. ​This year has been a series of frustrations, including having to take off work for multiple visits to fix a temporary crown that wasn't properly fitted that came off multiple times and discomfort with new fillings. The final straw, and the worst experience of all, was a recent mouthguard fitting. ​The dentist never checked the top part of my mouth for my permanent retainer or warned me that it could be damaged during the process. An assistant then ripped out my retainer, which I've had for years without any problems. The dentist's "solution" was to replace it with a flimsy wire that cut the inside of my mouth, caused me pain, and allowed my teeth to shift. Why would I get fitted for a mouth guard if there's any chance that it can come out in the fitting process?? I would never allow that to happen. I was never informed of the possibility of it coming out. ​They showed no remorse and told me I was responsible for finding and paying another dentist to fix their mistake. To make matters worse, I never received the top usable mouthguard, and the bottom mouthguard doesnt even fit despite paying for it. My attempts to resolve this with the office have been dismissed. This was a horrible experience, and I would hate for anyone else to go through it. read more

For the first time in my life, I enjoy going to the dentist! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating from the minute you walk in until you leave. I really feel like I'm visiting friends when I walk in the door. Dr. Mentesana is very patient and attentive to any questions or concerns you have, and she takes the time to explain everything so that you're comfortable. Also in the building is Texas Massage Center, which her husband owns and operates. They are both very down to earth and welcoming, which makes the whole dental experience seem like you're going to the spa! Nothing feels clinical, it just feels "homey." They have the latest technology and procedures, and keep in contact with their patients after the procedures to make sure everything is okay. I hate to write a poor review and I have put this off a long time. I feel compelled to go ahead with this review. I made appointments for our entire family. The first appointment was for my daughter. Granted, she gets nervous about Dr's and it is nice to have a bit of nurturing but the dental hygienist was far from that per my daughter. She did not feel comfortable at all and when I was called back, I could tell from the look on my daughter's face that something was not right. My gut instinct from the get go with the hygienist was not good. She came across harsh to me and daughter. The Dr., came in soon after to go over everything with us. Still, I did not get a good gut feeling about this practice. When we walked in the door there were advertisements for all kinds of dental products, etc. I said nothing but it felt like we were walking into a market vs a dental practice. The Dr. told me daughter had 6 cavities and needed treatment asap and gave me a treatment plan in the range of $1200-$1600. I questioned this because my daughter had never missed a dental appointment every 6 months from very early on and had never had a cavity. We paid our bill and left, I cancelled further visits. Bottom line, I went to our new dentist about 3 month later with daughter and we were both upset because of these cavities. It turns out, with his thorough evaluation and x-rays... my daughter had ZERO cavities. I do not know why the Dr. at All Smiles gave us an estimate for treatment when there were no cavities. Again, I am sorry for posting a poor review. However, many people like myself are paying for dental procedures out of pocket and I would be very angry if I found out I handed over a good amount of money for treatment that wasn't needed. read more

Dr. M and her staff are always the best! They are always on time and quick. They also explains to us the details and give information about what going on with our dental works. All Smiles Dentistry also offers invisaline, which my son loves..because no one can see them and they help straighten his teeth in a short amount of time. The follow-ups are great too! They offer this reminder through email so that you can confirm your appt. I love this place. So glad I found this place, and the plus side of this is that its close to my home. I absolutely love this practice! I have severe anxiety about doctors of any kind and I had not been to the dentist in lord knows how long. Everything about my experience was pleasant and the whole dynamic of the office is incredibly calming. I enjoyed the fact that I and one other person were the only patients there at the time and lastly I was not hounded to buy "the latest and greatest" toothbrush or toothpaste etc. as my previous dentist made me feel guilty when I didn't give in to his up-selling. I was referred to this office so decided to try it out after my previous hygienist retired. I loved Maggie at the front office; and, Crystal, my hygienist, was so friendly and engaging. But, the dentist was extremely cold - almost rude - and I felt like she was annoyed that she had to converse with me. I went twice for teeth cleanings and felt all the dentist cared about was $$...she was constantly telling me I needed this..or that...even though I had never had dental issues in my past. I went to a new dentist today - and it was a much better experience...and my dental plan doesn't include a bunch of unnecessary dental work that would've cost me thousands! read more
