Beautiful landscape. Lots of outdoor seating
Katie O.

Great ambiance at this simple country bar. There is a soft Elvis theme in decor and the naming of menu items, but it's not tacky. The outdoor patio and seating is beautiful on a nice summer night. I ordered the All Shook Up pizza (a recommendation from our server) and it was great! All ingredients are local and some even from the backyard! Good, personable service. Parking lot and inside of restaurant is small, I recommend carpooling!

Poppers

Great service great food! We have met some very nice patrons here every time we stop in. Had an old fashioned, some poppers, a Caesar kales salad, and a Mexican pizza. Delicious!

The pizza is thin yet incredibly crispy while not being burnt. Can't recommend it enough

Good food and super nice owners/staff. Nice ambiance especially this time of year outside on the patio. Hand crafter drinks are delicious.

Fresh Kind Kitchen - We made our own bowl, one vegetarian, the other not!

We were visiting Green Bay where we used to live looking for a place for lunch. As soon as we…read morewalked into this small restaurant, I knew I had been there before when it was something else! It is, as I already mentioned - small (about a half dozen tables for two). I'm guessing it is good (better) for takeout but we arrived just after 1:30 on a Thursday and had no problem getting a table. It is light, bright, and cheery inside. The two young women working behind the counter were very pleasant and patiently explained the options to us and all the customers who came in after us. There are about a half dozen "suggested" bowls but you can create your own or make changes to the ones in the menu. I ordered the Berbere Spiced Sweet Potato with almost all the colors of the rainbow represented - spiced sweet potatoes, radishes, carrots, Brussel sprouts, broccoli, dried cranberries, and green apples (I think I remembered everything). There is an option for an upcharge to add a protein but the vegetarian option was uncooked tofu and I only eat tofu that is well-seasoned and cooked so I passed. Hubby had the Lemon Herb Rotisserie bowl which he liked. Both were very filling and we couldn't finish them. Drinks range from Diet Coke to cold pressed juices. Great option for downtown Green Bay. Four stars because the (one) vegetarian protein option was not to my liking.

Fresh, quick and healthy. A number of suggested bowls available, or build your own! So many…read morechoices to pick from!

They have a dog Benny who hangs out and my wife and I are dog people and had our dog Sauce hanging with us while we had an amazing lunch! Everything was super fresh and the bread the caprese sandwich was served on came from a local bakery which is also a must stop called Renards European Bakeshoo. Had the lavender lemonade, which I also recommend. Can't wait to be back in Princeton as it's a hidden Gem and go back to Horseradish!

Horseradish was bustling at 12:30pm on a Saturday, but wasn't too overly packed when we came in. We were able to find a table for 4 and get our orders in quickly. That being said, it took over an hour of listening to terribly overstimulating music with bad vibes to actually get our food. Our kids were hangry, as were the children at a few other tables as well. I ordered the Vegan Witch (I LOVE kimchi) and my daughter ordered the Gus Special No. 1. We also all ordered various sodas/Olipops. The prices for the sodas were absurd, and the side salad that I ordered with my vegan witch was flavorless. I was kind of shocked at the kids' menu options and expected better ... my daughter of course ate it, as she's 4, and who doesn't love cheese on tortilla chips, but what an odd lunch option. I would have preferred more kid friendly veggie options for the side veggies, as radishes are a bit strange to plate for a child ... my sandwich was good, but just seemed to be lacking something. Staff were incredibly nice, but with how slow service was, I would not recommend going when you're actually hungry. I also don't recommend for kids. It was a fun experience and a nice find for in the middle of nowhere, but I guess I was just hoping for a bit more ... The bathrooms are nice, and my daughter and I loved the banana and lipstick lights on the bathroom walls that were also for sale. Cute place, slow service. I'll probably never be in Green Lake, Wisconsin again, so I can't say whether I'd return or not.

Also, the egg soufflés are pretty tasty- think egg and cheese in a croissant like pastry. I used to be a big fan of their chocolate chipper cookies, loaded with mini chocolate chips and soft and chewy, but I haven't seen those recently or they've changed the product. They also have fantastic sandwiches, salads, and soups. Great lunch spot with the "you pick 2" option.

We had two drinks: one cold and one hot. Typically the person at the counter asks us if we had any drinks, and hands us our cups. This morning? A girl named Ryan was working the front and completely ignored us. No good morning, no how ya doing, nothing. I ordered tea and the woman at the end prep area said it would be about 15 minutes or so, so I figured I would enjoy some of my tea before my meal. I go to snag one of the cups near the monitor, and Ryan turns around and says, "oh no, they will give you cups at the end." While pulling the cup from my grip. No, "hey, by the way", no, "oh, did you need your drinks?" None of that. Because I invaded her personal space at her sacred register, I was not permitted a cup while waiting 15 minutes for my food. So we went to the end, waited our 15 minutes, had our food which was fine, and went to leave while asking the manager the young girl's name. I said have a good day to her, walked past Ryan and stated, "your approach to customers needs work. You didn't need to tear the cup out of my hand." To which she just said, "have a great Saturday!" This is what ruins experiences for customers, flat out. People like this. Won't return here again.
