Due to their poor installation workmanship, they failed to seal any openings so mice got in and ate wires. They refused to take responsibility for this and blamed the manufacturer. We googled this matter of installation and across the board every article said sealing holes is one of the most important parts of installation. Allen Pools said they NEVER seal holes. They have totally blown us off, not even returning phone calls. All we want is to have them fix the wiring (and seal holes). They have treated us poorly. Think twice about this company.

I stop in to have the water tested. Their print-out instructions are easy to follow and have kept our spa in top shape. I also purchase all the chemicals through them. If our Spa ever needs replacement, I will go directly to them.

In my frustration I did massive research online and finally decided to see if Paquette Pools could test my water and give me advice. That is exactly what they did NUMEROUS times as I have high minerals in my well water. They explained what the problem was and how to fix it step by step. The service department here is very unreliable. They take days to call you back when you leave a…read moremessage and you have to leave a message because they never just answer the phone. Most times you have to call back and leave reminder messages. They or someone they go through installed a liner on our inground pool and probably a year later there are bumps all on the walls of the deep end and they won't call back or schedule anything to come take a look as to why it is all bumpy. They installed a motor and 2 years later it died. Come to find out, after having a different company service it the wire that was hooked up to it burnt it out. So instead at time of install suggesting getting the wire updated they just connected it knowing. When I called to see when the motor was installed I let them know I was having someone else service it their response was basically 'good luck to you'. I will continue to try and get them to do something about my liner seeing how they put it in but they have lost my business. No issues with the retail business though.

The next day I received a call…read morefrom the service department, and they explained in order for me to get on their schedule I'd have to pay a deposit of $329. Although it seems like a lot of money, I understand the reasons behind collecting a deposit (customers unexpectedly cancelling appointments, technician time to travel and diagnose issues, etc.). I paid the deposit and we confirmed the next available appointment was 3/20/25. On 3/14/25 I got an email (no phone call) telling me "Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to complete your spa service on 3/20/25. Instead, we will be there 3/25/25". I was so frustrated and disappointed they had picked a new date without discussing it with me and that it was 5 days later. I discussed the issue with the service department, they apologized and said that was the earliest date. There was nothing more they could do. On 3/25/25, the day of my appointment, I get a voice message that said they needed to cancel the appointment and reschedule for 3/26/25. Because I have a fenced in yard with dogs I took the day off of work to be here. I'm beyond frustrated with NE Spas. Conveniently they took my money in less than 24hours but they have no problem rescheduling my appointments for 16 days. By the way their policy is no monetary refunds just store credit. So that's not even an option. I feel trapped because they have my money and left me no other option but to accept their dates.

We jointly executed a complex re-programming task including adding a disconnected jumper wire that needed to be connected to replacement controller board (installed by a non-Oasis third party). All done via phone and FaceTime. His help was flawless. 17 mins total time. Worth a fortune. Back up and running for a weekend of guests. Here is one of my lifetime rules.
