I remember when this store first opened and the only two shops in the Valley at the time was one in North Hollywood that was super sketchy to go to and one in Canoga Park that was always ripping people off. When All Seasons opened, I was so happy that there was a place that I could go to that had incredible customer service and treated me with respect. At the time there were very few women in the industry and it was hard to get shops to take you seriously in the late 90s. These guys were always great. Gary and his team have always been amazing and go the extra mile. When the shops up here in the Bay Area shut down due to the Shelter-in-Place order, I made the drive down to All Seasons to get what I need. I can't remember the Asian guy's name, but I remember when he started working there. It's telling when you have an employee that has been there for decades. He's always helpful, gives great advice and recommendations, makes sure you have everything you need, and is cordial and polite. I've never had issues with this shop. After over 20 years of shopping here, I can only say positive things. I will continue to be a loyal customer and recommend this shop to pros and novices alike. read more

Amazing place has everything you need in a neat and organized space. Mark and Pat hands down never met em, but I know they're a friend I can go to for anything and any questions I have now. What I've noticed with yelp is that a lot of times most little businesses that aren't food-related end up having a bad rating as a result of one or two pissed off customers raving about their one bad experience somewhere. Steve's review sounds like a plug for another store more than a review.. First off, I seriously doubt there's anything "Illegal" going on just because they have a buzzer. I've been to plenty of hydro stores that buzz you in. The reason there's a buzzer is that they have literally everything in the store out on display. The nutrients are towards the front of the store (by the door) whereas the register is in the back. With 1 gallon sized jugs of nutes selling for $60-70 I completely understand the need for security. The staff is pretty helpful, they stock pretty much everything in the sunlight supply catalog or can order it for you to pick up in the store. Anyone who knows anything about indoor growing will tell you that sunlight supply is the biggest name in hydroponic supplies and that their products (Sun Systems, lumatek etc.) are the best (and usually most expensive) you can buy. I did a little research (called all the hydro stores on google maps in a 25mile radius and asked for some prices) and their price is MSRP with an additional 30% off! That's the cheapest price for lumatek and sunsystems I've seen anywhere, in person OR online. Yes it's 30% now they raised it from 20% a few months ago apparently. read more

Not a fan of this place. I came in searching for a neighborhood hydro store where I could bounce ideas off of the "pros" and get products. I'm new to growing and wanted some advice. The tattooed dude (don't care to remember his name), was very condescending and told me I was wrong several times. I was just asking questions not stating an opinion either way. He was all about selling the most expensive products instead of being a human being and helping a newbie. Avoid this store. read more

Some of these bad reviews are funny. The main entrance is in the back (alley). The reason for this is that it is far more practical for loading/unloading heavy equipment. Chatsworth is a small street with curside parking and passing traffic. You don't want to load a bunch of heavy equipment on that street. Also they are usually unloading/loading stuff in the back. Some are quick to jump up and attack when they are feeling insecure. Now to the real part of the review. Best prices out of the 12+ hydro stores I have visited. 30% off retail. No BS shananigans that you get at other stores. Other stores discount certain customers and if you look like a chump they charge retail. Very friendly, polite, and knowledgable (no I don't try to ask questions for 45 minutes, just a couple quickies and Im on my way) P.S. some of the reviewers should know that you never try to learn a hobby through a sales person. I came to this specific hydroponic store because it was close to my job and I want to go after work - to save some time. I did not like the fact that I had to be buzzed in to enter the place; as if it was a marijuana dispensary. I was outside for a while; I saw people inside watching the TV... until someone finally saw me. Customer service goes a long way, for example, "Hi, how can I help you?" not "What you want?" I asked for a specific product and the guy said he has it BUT it was somewhere in the back and just offer me an alternative (that is arms reach). This place is overprices (even with their 30% discount). I just got the basic stuff I need but I needed more, but I rather spend the extra cash somewhere else in LA. Other than that, I would not go back at all but it was good that I venture out and tried something new; now I know to avoid this place - I've experienced better hydro store. read more

Ok so I was lured into this place through their great yelp reviews. I have a local hydro store near by; but they didn't have some stuff I needed. So got to the place, it was a ok set up. I drove about 20 minutes to get here. After getting what I needed, I started to look for some other impulse buys. I needed some wet Betty or a different kind of surfactant. The guy at the register doesn't understand shit about hydroponics or even growing in general. He's baked out his mind and doesn't understand half the stuff I'm asking him. He tells me wet Betty was discontinued and the only other product they carry is Dutch masters saturator. Although I have nothing against Dutch master, I wouldn't pay 60 dollars for a foliar feeder when I can just add non-ultra detergent to my feed. Anyway, I grabbed a air pump and some other stuff. When I visited my local hydroponic store in sunland, ca not only did they have wet Betty they also had Dutch master saturator for $30!!! Ridiculous that they try to charge me $30 more for a product and also lie to me about a product that's NOT discontinued. I thought "Man thank god I didn't get ripped off". Well, guess what? The pump I bought was $30 less at my local hydro. Wow, really? Thanks for making me feel like a dumb ass. I regret driving so far out to this place, and also getting ripped off. First I had to be "buzzed in" like it was a dispensary, very strange vibe. What are they really selling there? I went in to buy grow light bulbs and supplies for hydro growing. I had $350. in my wallet and was willing to spend it all. I was shunned and totally ignored. There were only two or three other "customers" that looked liked stoners wandering towards the back of the store. I just grabbed my light fixture and walked out. Here I am again giving another sour review of this place, 3 years later. 3 years after Ron said my post was fake. Well that last one was true and so is this one.... I have been going here for quick things, not my big shopping lists. LA traffic has me just shooting over here. I had planned on getting 4 items. I grabbed 2 and had to ask about the other two. The white guy that has been there for years rushed me up to the front of the line and basically ignored me on my two product inquires. ( I would have purchased similar items if he would have maybe suggested a few, because you didn't stock an item by a company you currently use)...I understand there are bigger customers exchanging co2 tanks and buying 100 gallon resevoirs..... but what gives? Maybe it was the fact that the counter guy was more interested in selling his "private consulting" on the side then selling products on the shelves. They treat the little guy like garbage here, OH and if I wanted "private marijuana growing consulting" I'm not gonna seek it from the guy who sits behind a counter selling other companies products... This is a really good store. Friendly staff. Very helpful. I am an orchid grower and I buy my Hydroton clay pellets, root stimulator and fertilizers here, plus assorted tools and such. They greet you when you arrive. They always take the time to help me find what I am looking for. They carry my products to my car. The only reason I didn't get them five stars is that they didn't carry some of the products I need and I have to get them elsewhere. I would rather buy everything in one place. I guess there aren't too many orchid growers needing what I need. There is ample parking in the back. All in all, I will keep coming back. read more

Driving by and on a fluke and saw this place. Drove around through the alley and noticed they had a back door entrance, I parked and went in. It was a bit busy since there was only person there (3 other people standing around waiting to be "helped"). However with this being said it only takes a few seconds to acknowledge a customer walking in. Literally, after ten minutes of self helping with no assistance, being ignored or the general "can I help you with anything" I asked about two things I needed (hydroton/clay balls and dyna pro fertilizers). With both questions I got a very rude facial remark and verbal attitude that followed. They didn't have the dyna pro and the hydro balls they did have were way over priced and not the size I needed. So as I was leaving I said thanks and the jerk who was ANNOYED BY ME WANTING TO SPEND MONEY IN THAT SHOP didn't say anything in return! read more
