William Masters was not the installer of this AC unit. So I called this company to ask if my a/c and furnance, which was installed by them in 2016, was registered? In that conversation I found out the previous owner had passed away and the guy who answered the phone said he took over the business. Before I knew it the guy said he was ordering a part and I felt pressured into having them do the work instead of William Masters who had done a checkup and found the issue with the part. He asked how much William Masters quoted and said he would be less (he ended up being about the same). When the person came to my house to install the part he figured out it was the wrong part. I wondered how they knew what my unit needed just by me asking about a "coil" but I don't know AC. A few weeks later they said the correct part was in and they supposedly installed it then came to the door and asked for $700 payment. He said something about me having a year warranty but he has yet to give me any documentation of what I paid for or warranty information. I was told he would email me a receipt but I have been waiting for that at least 4 weeks! I tried contacting them to remind them that I still hadn't gotten it. I got a nasty text response from them when asking for the 4th time saying "I'll get it when I get's to it". I paid him promptly when he asked for a $700 payment on the spot but trying to simply get a reciept for the work still has not happened after over a month. I would highly recommend going with a more experienced company like William Masters. I made the mistake of going with this business and now I'm questioning whether a new part was even put in at all.
