I fell in love with this Chapel as soon as I saw it. Everything was perfect. Well, the help, not sure what she is to the chapel, but Sarah (Main lady up there) said she would be there to open the church for us at 11 am Saturday before our wedding Sunday. She didn't show. We couldn't get up with anybody until finally 12 pm rolls around & Sarah comes to open the church with no idea why the other woman wasn't there. Sunday our wedding comes, everything goes seemingly perfect until I get a text from my mother while my husband & I finish photos post ceremony asking if I had her (very expensive) make up... she was missing a lot of it. We also had $120 missing from money for our DJ (No vendors were at our wedding.. Our preacher/dj was a close family friend and the food people were friends, also) Money was taken out of my grandmother's purse, my sister in laws wallet that was WELL hidden, my sister's make up was missing, my best friend's WHOLE make up bag was missing and both my parents perfume/colange was missing. Now we could blame it on someone who wasn't suppose to come or someone we knew, but we had a VERY VERY intimate ceremony only about 45 people stayed through the entire thing. The lady who was "helping" who worked there was seen multiple times by several different people going in & out of the bridal suite & seemed flustered everytime someone would come down. She was VERY rude to my husband & his groomsmen (Gave them all the wrong boutinerres even though my husband told her there were specific ones for each different guy) She even tried to tell my husband & I what to do regarding our sparkler sendoff (We had to go downstairs then back up the outside stairs to get through a big line & she seemed flustered we were downstairs & asked "No, that's not what you're suppose to do, you're suppose to be upstairs" with a very mean tone. I would not reccommend this place to anyone, yes the place was nice & beautiful but I would not want anybody to have to go through this. Also this same lady asked multiple men from my family to come help clean up downstairs when we paid extra money to have that done for us. SHE PULLED men from the wedding to go help. Ridiculous! My family shouldn't be spending the day after my wedding doing police reports. And to top it off, Sarah, the main help, defended the lady.. even if she is holier than thou, nobody should be treated like this on their wedding day, especially when we are PAYING customers. Oh and losing an our of our rehersal they "let us in" an hour early on Sunday to make up for it but that really didn't make a difference considering they had a church service and there was still church service stuff in the church..we couldn't do anything! read more
