We wanted to replace our older glass shower door and received three quotes from local suppliers…read more Pioneer Glass was prompt, patient and professional. They provided a schematic of how the door would look, and an easy to understand and competitively priced project proposal. The proposal also detailed several options we were considering, including 1/2" glass. We opted to move forward with Pioneer, they estimated it would take approximately three weeks to order our custom door. Just under three weeks later, our door arrived and was installed a few days later. There were no issues, the measurements were correct, door looked great and worked perfectly and swings easily, all 90 pounds of glass. And the 1/2" glass gives the shower a high-end look and feel. We'd be delighted to work with them again on our next glass related project.

Bruin came recommended highly to me by a friend of mine. We received multiple quotes for the job and Bruin's was by far the best for a set of new double hung Harvey windows. Bill was great in coming out for the measurements and getting us the quote. It was simple to secure the job as we could make the deposit by credit card. Bruin's office stayed in touch to let us know of the timeframe for the job. Their crew showed up on time on the scheduled day and finished even faster than we assumed. They also cleaned up nicely. A great job all-around and I'd definitely recommend them for window replacements and use them again myself.

When I called to ask why no one arrived, the response I received was dismissive, as if my call were an inconvenience rather than a legitimate question. I'm actually glad they never showed. If a company can't manage a simple appointment, how could they possibly handle a major project worth tens of thousands of dollars, on schedule and with professionalism? Inka Constr. has replaced 20+ windows with Pella Impervia fiberglass in my home (incldg big double wide casements & short basement sliding windows). In the most recent project of an investment property we had them replace 9'w super heavy sliding patio doors & 3 windows. They removed & replaced rotted sill plates on the door and windows, foam insulated, & replace sills & molding with all new. Nik goes the extra distance adding a white oak threshold, replacing the sliding door moulding trim with bigger ones & also replacing the adjacent thru-the-wall A/C unit box's trim, making it look so much better. Nik took apart Harvey window sashes & trimmed the vinyl corner's mitered edges that the Harvey Window factory should've taken care of in QC. Nik is the consummate professional - he does what he says he'll do, always on time, dedicated, hardworking, superb craftsmanship, very experienced carpenter, and a perfectionist. He goes the extra distance & looks out for your interests, even when you don't know work needs to be done. And that's someone you want in your court. He's quiet, diligent, hard-working and a precise carpenter. Maria is a delight to deal with, warm, superb with fast communication texting/emailing keeping you apprised throughout the whole process, working with the town building dept, getting & closing permits & working w the distributor. Segundo and Iliana, the owners of this opperation, are both professional, hard working, honest, and most importantly they are compassionate about the exicution of their work for their costomer. I have been involved in many trades and also have a neon sign business of my own, so I know how important communication and quality mean to a customer. At the onset of this project I was not pleased as the large national Co. that sold me the job. They were not executing as I was expecting, running late, and not replying to phone calls. The job was tentativly to start on July 6th, but was never scheduled, then it was scheduled to have materials dropped on the 10th, and start on the 13th. On the 13th A JJ brothers truck comes up the driveway; however, there has not been a material drop. This is fine, I know things happen, but let me know. My wife tried to contact the sales company that sold the job - no answers and no return calls. Then she called the number on the JJ truck, Iliana promptly picked up. she reached out to the sales Co. and found out that the materials where behind schedule. Then she confirmed the would be in at the end of the week and the install would start on Monday. Sure enough the material came in on Friday, and the JJ crew was here at 7:30 Monday morning. The crew worked steady the first day and wrapped up after a long day. Day two, again early on the job sight and quick to work. When I came home I had several questions, and a few concerns. I gave Iliana a call and she said she was going to be on sight the next day. When the crew rolled in she was right there with them at 7:30am. She introduced herself as the crew began there setup for the day. I walked her and Segundo through the job sight and asked her question as well as pointed out a couple of concerns. Their willingness to walk with me and answer any of my concerns was exceptional. They assured me I would be pleased with the results. The next day Illiana came out with the crew again. we talked and she asked how I was feeling about the job. I was pleased with the progress and the quality as I watched the crew exicute their craftsmanship. However, where this is a replacement siding job, some issues came up that the sales Co. did not either address in the quote, or missed totaly. Not a problem. Segundo and Iliana took it in stride and corrected these issues with out a second thought. I thanked them for their professionalism. Iliana replied it is our pleasure. Yes it is a job, but our passion is for you and your home. We are going to do the job the correct way, we want you to love the job we do and to love your home. JJ Brothers has earned my respect. Although Segundo has been doing roofing and siding for over 25 years, the JJ brothers company with Segundo and Iliana was formulated 15 years ago. I know I have read many positive reviews, but I thought I would add mine. I am so pleased with them and their crew that I will recomend them any chance I get. I'd highly recommend them and hire them again. Frank and Josh communicate immediately through text and call, do a careful one hour in person consultation, and even bring along a heat lamp and sample windows to educate on five different varieties of quotes. They are kind, intelligent, and respectful when working through our limited budget. The best part is they sell, manufacture, and install their own windows (as opposed to other companies who outsource these services) so the management and timeline of the project is high, detailed, and efficient.
