Watch out. The units DO NOT match the ones on the website, and no one ever bothered to update it. Borderline scam to be honest

He went about a half block to check breaker said that it was not flipped but it was wobbling pretty loose in there. My husband is a licensed electrician and of course had his own my testing equipment. It showed 25 amp coming out of it. So he said move to spot 50. Well before we moved our vehicle we went down there and checked it and he took off before we could. And guess what the exact same problem. We did not even hook into the second one. So he proceeded to tell us that it was our equipment that had gone bad. Even though we never plugged into spot 50! I had planned on one night thank God! He did refund our $52. we had to drive down the road and try to find someplace else at 7:00 in the evening. Another thank God, the Walmart about 10 or 15 miles down the road would allow overnight. So we are now on our way to our next location which is about a 7 hour drive. We are just hoping that they did not damage our equipment. It has been extremely stressful if you go there you better watch out!

Minimum 2 night stay and while you stay there, you can have free access to the day use state parks such as Sandbar State Park (not dog friendly) or Niquette Bay State Park (dog friendly) to name a few. We stayed on site 76 which was big and open. On a packed weekend, this site won't give you much privacy like the other campsites but it makes up for location - near the bathroom and water spigot, nature center, playground and beach. This and the others next to it would be a good site to reserve as a group of friends who are looking to go camping together. When we went, it was raining and so we went to the nature center where the staff there was very inviting and engaged our 4 year old to do an activity. Great spot for the kids to do indoor activities if it rains. Beach is a rock beach (no sand) and a great view of the water. I do wish it was sand but we still managed to have a good time in the water. Also the playground was very updated and my daughter enjoyed going there whenever she can. Everyone, including staff and campers, were all so nice there. It was our first time camping here and the staff explained everything to us and even offered us some free produce that they had. Firewood $6 (fairly dry), free kindle wood, ice $3.

Just the drive here makes it worthwhile, even better if you can do it in the daytime and without rain. Add to that nice secluded little campsites, functional shower facilities, swimming at the beach, sporting equipment and bike rental, and (get this!) actual pleasant human beings for staff and you basically have a perfect idyllic getaway. It's dog friendly, a quick drive to Burlington, and surrounded by other local attractions. I was only here for two nights, but I hope to return someday. Maybe it was just the campfire-grilled steak and corn on the cob, or the way the sun looked setting over the lake, or all that fresh almost-Canadian air, but I think I'm in love. We got there, and was very disappointed that they did not have cable hookup. My family likes to watch the news for the weather, plus i wanted to watch the last episode of Claim to fame which premiered monday. Anyways also we arrived and they put us near the lake, and we are a long trailer, and was concerned on where to park our car. So they moved us in a spot that worked. We also got a little refund as well. in the front, there is a general store, and they also sell sandwiches and coffee. On August 29th, i brought a lake champlain shirt there, and the people inside were very nice. Overall it is a small campground, and it does look like some kind of trailer park. However, it seemed pretty quiet and everyone seemed friendly that we seen. They also have a pool but did not go in the pool as it was kind of cool. Also there is not much things to do in vermont, including close by. Although we did stop by the blue paddle bistro. Don't think we'll visit vermont again, but this was a nice quiet campground.

The sites are spacious. Our dogs are right at home. There is a restaurant, store, farmers market, laundry ($1.25 washer/dryer), computer room, lots of books to read, pool, hot tub, rec room, etc. The list just goes on. Everything you could want and more. Also the beautiful huge lake. I've been sick this week or we would have been out on our kayaks! Highly recommend for groups, family get together. Kinda pricey but I would stay here again. *Will add more photos later

Lots of good to say about this place, and 1 not so good thing, so let's go. The good: -It's in a pine forest, so there are many beautiful, mature trees everywhere. -It's a big, sprawling complex with lots and lots of sites. Being in the Adirondacks, there's a big demand for tent sites, so there are more than you'd normally see at a KOA, but there are definitely more than enough RV sites as well. -The sites themselves (both RV and tent) are spacious and well shaded with big trees. Just about every tent site I saw was hammock-ready. Some of the austere tent sites are way down the hill next to the Au Sable river. They're a bit of a hike, but worth it if you're into that. -The facilities here are nice and well maintained. From the numerous bath houses to the recreation facilities, everything is kept in working order. The camp store is pretty nice, and has just about anything you'd expect to find in one. -The staff is super friendly and courteous, however, they actually enforce rules here. I've been to many campgrounds where they didn't, so this is a good thing. From speeding on campground roads to unattended barking dogs, they hand out notices. Not in a mean or obnoxious way, just maintaining order in the campground. That's not to say that the place is a madhouse. It's actually very laid back. I didn't notice any obnoxious late-night partiers. A very family friendly atmosphere. The not-so-good: Remember all those big, beautiful trees? There are large ones on the corners of almost every row, and if you have a larger rig, splitting those uprights can be a daunting task. We arrived after hours and had to negotiate this obstacle course in the dark. If you lead every turn exactly right, it's (mostly) doable, but difficult. At one point, we watched a triple-axle toy hauler do this same dance, only to get to their site and find that it was not physically possible to get into it because of how closely spaced the trees were. They had to go around the block to a different site. The strategic removal of one tree at the end of each of the tighter rows, and a select few in some of the sites, would likely alleviate the problem. Overall, quite pleased width this campground. Would visit again.
