While everything is expensive right now, I feel like the ease of experience adds a lot of value, and the prices are competitive with other area facilities.

Everyone from the office staff to the moving team are professional and go above and beyond with there service. I cancelled my move two day before they where suppose to move me back into my home because of a death in the family and Jennifer was so kind and accommodating and gave me the earliest next date. When the team of movers got to my home they where efficient and careful about everything that they touched. When they where done moving everything in they went room by room with me and made sure furniture and boxes where were I needed them Caleb, Jason and Alex are the A team. The owner put us on the wait list when I called in February or March, and let us know when he had an opening. I called early this year, lol. The units are outdoors, but it was as promised: a storage unit. We brought our own combination lock. Access was easy. We let him know when the unit was empty and had no issues. She kept a LOT of stuff there for the summer, from her fan to a TV to her boyfriend's snowboard. My only suggestion would be to list an email address on the website to make communication easier. Beyond that, I was happy.

I won't even go into detail mentioning bugs and mold...The…read moreowner will violate his contract if you are out of town frequently because he gambles you won't come back to sue him in small claims. He says the remedy for his breach is in the contract, which is court.......and he steals your security deposit. He will make up any bogus claim to not give back your deposit, including drafting fake letters from so called witnesses. He will claim you let someone else use the property to store a few things of theirs, to justify breaching his obligations and keeping your security deposit. He admits there is no damage to the property but invents a reason to not give you your deposit. I don't know how Mr David Merkel sleeps at night taking advantage of tenants. Many people need and rely on in good faith the deposit they made and he steals. I Urge anyone who has unfortunately rented from him, don't pay last month's rent because he will never give your security deposit back. Get your stuff out and don't pay that last month. I have contacted the attorney general in NY to investigate him for a pattern of fraud. He hopes people won't bother filing a complaint especially if they are short on time or vulnerable. He is sadly mistaken. He will regret his unethical and illegal tactics. I will find ways to spread the word publicly and contact his current tenants via postcard or whatever means so they can be warned and can also know how to file complaints with the District Attorney in Clinton county and the Attorney General's office in NY.

This was an out-of-state delivery (to Connecticut). We were impressed by the professionalism at every step of the way. We didn't want to be surprised by "unexpected" additional costs when our furniture was delivered. Heidi's quote was higher than competitors but seemed much more reasonable compared with past moves. In the end, the final cost was a little lower than the estimate. More than fair cost for the value of the work done. Well done, Heidi! Justin, Matt, and Brad showed up promptly on the scheduled day to pack us. Polite, responsible -- and efficient! They packed boxes and protected the furniture well. They finished early enough to start loading the truck that day and came back the following day to finish loading. They arrived earlier than expected in Connecticut the following morning and unloaded very quickly. Furniture was positioned and reassembled as we wanted and boxes were placed in the correct locations. Amazing work! Nothing was lost. Nothing was broken. Despite the careful protection, there were minor scuff marks on a couple of pieces, but nothing worth trying to repair. On time, under budget, and in good order. It doesn't get better than that. On many occasions, I have not locked my unit properly, and they have always contacted me right away to notify me. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate me and I can't recommend them enough!
