The place has surveillance cameras everywhere and can be seen by the manager from home as well. They have a self operating lift for you to bring up large items to the second floor and dollys/carts everywhere. The also place has sensor lights and theyre pretty dang bright. The manager is extremely friendly and will talk forever if you let him. In 30 minutes he gave me advice about marriage, family, and career. Everyone from the office staff to the moving team are professional and go above and beyond with there service. I cancelled my move two day before they where suppose to move me back into my home because of a death in the family and Jennifer was so kind and accommodating and gave me the earliest next date. When the team of movers got to my home they where efficient and careful about everything that they touched. They made us all well aware when we first got in that their co-worker called out and he's the only one. Despite the busy season, they managed to get me in and out within the hour. In fact Chris yelled at me so bad he made me cry and because I had been moving trying to contact them without success stressed about that, when he made me cry I rubbed my eye with my hand that had mold on them. I just had a life threatening co2 drop on 26th of August and bronchitis, this morning my breathing is concerning and my eye is extremely puffy and I have conjunctivitis due to the mold from rubbing my eye and the breathing I assume from covering my mouth while hyperventilating and crying trying to calm myself down and be quiet. After putting me into extreme emotional distress he put me on hold for a few minutes and my phone died. U-haul put me in so many atrocious positions during this rental and I have rented from them for years on and off. All started with trying to extend the rental and U-haul really messing up my bank account improperly. A lot of unnecessary transferring on the phones, good luck trying to get the manager and location when you really need them, even when they know they need to be looking out for the contact. Customer services etc contacted Chris multiple times, there was a whole book of notes to read. Not the tip of the iceberg here. When you're moving and want ease and nice people who have good costumer service, do not go to Burlington location. Someone asked if I had a problem with Chris, I was confused at the time because I didn't even know the fella or didn't remember him if he was the manager when I rented before. Now I understand why it seems people might have a certain outlook on the experience he gives and how he is. After the day I had already, U-Haul made a nightmare a horror movie. Was on the phone with them for about 2 hours having to figure out their first mess up which never got resolved and then they just kept creating worse issues. Really horribly insane experience, do not recommend for your health, safety, mental health, and experience while moving.
