I did some more searching and found KD Cares and didn't believe all the good reviews and I wasn't sure the price was actually going to be any cheaper. But I called and Kris answered, on a Saturday, immediately. He asked me every question you can think of about my place like he was walking through the place in his mind. And then he gave me the price, so so much better than the competition and it was going to include everything. The ceilings, walls, closets, trims, floor mouldings, front door. He said no deposit, he pays for all the paint himself first and I just pay half the day of. Honestly it sounded too good to be true. He locked me into a date about 2 weeks out (which is fast for painters I have learned), and before the date came he confirmed with me over text about 3 times. He made sure to send me a COI with everything my building needed. He was so on top of things. The day of, he showed up 15 minutes earlier than I did, with 1 worker. They both really seemed like they actually wanted to be here and help me paint my place. It made me feel like they really were going do a great job. He brought all the paints and equipment and all the colors and finishes we're exactly what we'd specified. When he walked through the place he realized there were some areas that were darker than he expected and would require more coats to cover with the simply white I'd chosen. I told him to charge me extra if he needed and he refused. He was just letting me know. It took them 2.5 days. No delays. I even changed my mind on them for one bedroom and switched out a color after they had already started painting it a bit. In the end, Kris charged me exactly what he quoted me with the exception of $50 for the extra gallon of paint for changing the color which is perfectly reasonable. He left me all the paints and told me he'd come back if anything didn't look great. It's been a week and things are looking great. I highly highly recommend Kris and his team. It's a bit cheesy but they do really Care.
