We had our pool resurfaced last year and it's been a nightmare. So many issues. We are still dealing with a major leak which they deny any responsibility. Without going into details, (too many) I'm going to give a short version. We called the BBB only to learn that their only purpose is to help a client and business work together to resolve the problem. They did however refer us to the Attorney General and the Department of Business & Professional Regulation and the county's Building Inspector department. Some advised to get an attorney. Worst company ever. The only thing they have going for them is a great sales team that over pitches and under delivers. My personal experience: Once on contract, you will get zero comms and no support/communication unless they want their final payment for work uncompleted and unanswered questions. Received no advanced call and people would show up to work randomly. Did not knock on the door to announce their arrival, and half didn't even know what they were supposed to be doing; nor the status of the overall project which was a new salt system and new filter system. I left several messages with no returned calls, no manuals/missing parts, and no clue what was going on. They dumped a ton of chemicals in my pool and didn't tell me what it was before leaving and I had to drain it twice 3' to get it balanced out as that person obviously did not know what they were doing. Continue your search and do not waste your time, money, or frustration with this company. The first guy was great. His quality of work and work ethic were so great that I wrote a great review for the company as soon as he left for the day. I was baffled by all of the negative reviews. The next day a crew of men showed up and it was a disaster. The company that hired/contracted them had someone on site to supervise their work so the pool resurfacing turned out great. It was everything else that really soured my experience with this company. *Lack of communication - My husband notified them of something that was not to be done right away due to previous problems & the first thing that they did was that exact thing. They said that although my husband told the crew chief, he didn't pass it on to the crew so they cut a pipe when they weren't supposed to. *Smoked on our property & threw cigarettes in our yard. We have small dogs & eating one could have made them very sick. The crew was told not to smoke on property by the company who contracted them, & even e a safe smoking area for them. They completely disregarded it & smoked in the front yard. *Property damage - One guy purposely ran his body along my Gardenia bushes every single time he walked out of the pool area. This ripped flowers & leaves off & left multiple pieces & flowers torn from the bushes by the end of the day. *Property damage- They would leave metal rods with sharp ends leaned against the screen to be snagged, they drug their hoses with metal ends along my concrete pool deck - scratching the slab, knocked their equipment against my screen door frame - chipped the frame. Took their plant-waterer container t had acid in it & walked it along my property, pouring out what was left as they walked. This killed my grass. *Disregarded a request- They created a makeshift tub in the front yard & filled it with water to rinse their supplies. They hooked up to my water. I asked that they turn the hose off whenever they aren't using it & they said okay. About 20min later I looked out front to see the hose nozzle-side pointing down into the grass & no one was around. I was already not trusting these guys because of everything else that I had seen, so I decided to go check it out. I lifted the hose & sure enough it was on full-blast. I told them to disconnect the hose from my house & use another source. *Left a filthy mess - They left debris all over my front & back yard. The rep from the company that contracted them had to stay a long while afterwards picking up behind them. My dogs could have died from their negligence. These guys did their job but it was obvious that they did not care about it, the customer, or their employer's reputation. It was very sad. What a waste of good money! I hired them last Feb., 2019. Finally finished renovation of pool in August after sooo much aggravation. Two weeks ago, I noticed my deck is deteriorating! I have called three times and emailed three times. Still no one has come out! Tony, a sub contractor, does the worst workmanship, IF he shows up. Very rude and even stole my neighbors electricity! Description of Complaint: Our pool was resurfaced by All Phase Pools in July, 2015. We love the pool, however, a huge crack has formed on the 1st step into the pool. The crack is approximately 3 feet long and seems to be growing weekly. We started calling them in February and we were assured someone would call us back. Well, no one calls (it is now March) and a service technician (Jim) shows up at our house on the 23rd, hangs around for about 15 minutes, leaves, comes back with another guy (in a bathing suit) hangs around some more and then leaves with no explanation. I have now called yesterday and today and was told twice that someone will call me back. I don't really trust that they will. This episode is making me very sorry that we did business with them. read more

I'd give a much lower rating if possible, very very bad quality. They advertise that the select people who have been specifically trained to do wet edge technology and expert hand troweling. This is not true in my case. I should have looked at the numerous bad customer complaints on Yelp I'd have saved myself a lot of time, money, and aggravation. The communication skills from this company is horrible. It took 6 weeks to do a retile and resurface of a small home pool. They left a drain pumping water out into our street for over 3 weeks. Kept calling to find out when they were coming to finish the pool. It shouldn't take longer than a week. Once they "finished", we have a big leak. Took 4 days until the manager would call me back and tell us it's not their problem! Had to get a leak guy out and the leak is at a pipe where they changed a fitting in the pool. Wow! What excellent work ethic. The man who came out to prep our pool for resurfacing was professional from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, willing to patiently answer any of our questions, and made us feel like he was happy to be at work today. I was EXTREMELY impressed by a couple of personal judgement calls that he made: 1. When dark clouds swept by, with lightning and thunder, he chose to stay on site until after the clouds moved on, instead of packing up and leaving, and 2. Once we told him about the pool company that would be out to do a specific job on the following day, he chose to stay even later to complete a portion of the pool where they will be working - This was so that he would not be in their way the next day. Beyond those two professional decisions, he also cut clean lines without damaging any of my tiles. This was a big deal to me because I was really worried that the tiles would be ruined - AND I did not even express that concern to him, but he still kept them all intact. I am very pleased about that. After spending the day in August Florida heat, and knowing that he would be back the following day, he still took his time cleaning up at the end of the day. All Phase Pool Remodeling came recommended to me from Orlando Pool Deck Resurfacing which I hired to resurface my deck area. My pool was emptied 14 days ago and it is still not scheduled to be finished. The weather has not been a problem, although that is the excuse I get. Their first workers came to empty the pool and take out the tiles. They were polite and seem to know what they were doing. Only thing is, the pool pump was running and he turned it off, but neglected to turn it off at the panel box. Luckily I was outside the next morning and heard the pump kick on and try to circulate water from an empty pool. The workers that came and did the bond coat were both older men that acted like unruly juveniles. They fought and argued with each other, each telling the other they didn't know what they were doing. These guys, just walked into my gated back yard without letting me know who they were or why they were there. One of the set of workers that came, left a hose attached to my facet that I use daily. I don't understand why they would empty my pool if they couldn't schedule it to be completed in a timely manner. My pool sets empty and ugly and unusable. read more

I contracted All Phase for a pool resurface. Terrible communication. I called frequently, left many messages and received a call back very rarely. The resurface was done incorrectly around the pool light, so after many weeks later and another big water bill, the light was reinstalled. Now the light does not work and I was told that it was not their responsibility. I owned my own business and I understand how important communication is, and I have never dealt with a business with such poor response to customer concerns. The "last straw" was when I was told that supervisors' numbers are never given out to customers. They have a couple of responsive, professional employees/contractors, and for that, I am grateful, but otherwise this company should be avoided. read more

Recently had my pool resurfaced and tile was replaced. The entire staff did an outstanding job from the labor to the main office. I was told it would take about 2 weeks and it took 3 days beyond that due to the weather. We are pleased with the results. A couple minor adjustments needed to be made such as the light and 2 jets. My pool was remodeled in April 2023. These folks have no respect for the homeowner in terms of ringing your doorbell to say they have arrived or giving advance notice, rather they just walk in your yard unannounced. The one crew nearly took the wrath from my dog when he walked through the gate. Let's talk about property damage during the remodeling process. When they start dumping the sludge and debris onto your yard. I told the bondo crew not to do that and run their hoses to the street. When I turned my back they tried to route it to an adjacent property and got upset when I yelled for them to stop. The last crew decided that rinsing their mixer and tools and dumping the sludge in the front yard was appropriate. I now have a 10 foot section of dead grass. Communication you say, well that is covered by only email from an imaginary person. When I tried to call the office to complain about the sludge dumping, option 2 for installations gives you a message that the number is disconnected. It is impossible to reach a supervisor or real person. No matter how many emails you send, EVEN to the salesperson go unanswered. Since they finished no one has been by in over 3 weeks. They promised to pressure wash the deck and I also reported the pool surface has a number of pock marks where the finish did not adhere. Bottom line, there is no white glove service here and they really don't give two hoots. These folks need reported as a delinquent contractor to some type of construction oversight from the state of florida. I am already contacting the mfr about the install process. My parents had their pool refinished a year ago with this company. They damaged the deck that had recently been refinished. They failed to do the work as agreed. The pool isn't sealed properly. Open pipes left exposed. Illegally pumped chemicals into canal. Left a mess and still haven't finished the job. They have called multiple times to have the job finished and they refuse to respond - it has been six months since they were here the last time. Thousands of dollars later and they have to get a new company to come fix what they messed up. Don't risk using this company. read more

We signed a contract back in Jan and work started Feb1. Off to a good start. Now it is 8 weeks later and we are still waiting for the job to be completed. Tile work done in 3 days but a mess was left. Then nothing for 2 weeks. I called to find out what was going to be next and when. After days got a call back that the bonding/grading would be next. Quality Inspector (haha) came out tapped around to make sure all was ready for next step. Again about 2 weeks later the pebble finish was done. AND what a mess they made. Besides blue spots everywhere, blue on my pavers , blue on the new tile just put up they had a leak in their box in our front yard so now we have a large square spot with blue hard as cement spots killing our grass. The pool was then acid washed (very poorly) and he started filling the pool. Then March 8th Jim came out to fire up the pool and took note of the LONG list of things needing to be done and or corrected. It is now March 26 and no one has come out to take care of the issues. I call and get blown off . THEIR COMMUNICATION IS HORRIBLE. If not for me calling them I would have no idea what is happening. Today Josh was to come out and I guess take care of our list of issues, but after ME calling him this am, his schedule has changed and would not be out. We went with them after the nice job they did on our neighbors pool but I WILL NOT recommend them to anyone. I have never done a review before, but I am extremely frustrated with this company. We signed a contract for our pool to be resurfaced, our cool deck redone and painted, new tile in the pool along the top, and a salt system to be installed. This was Supposed to be a 3 week project. The tile guy showed up, drained our pool, put on the new tile and did the grout lines. That's when the problems began. Two days later, we noticed big pieces of grout laying on the bottom of the pool. The top grout line, between the tile and the deck coping, was coming out. We called All Phase to inform them of this and they said they would send someone out to fix it. Our pool sat with no work being done for 3 weeks. We called to find out what the hold up was since this was a "3 week project" and we were told that they are extremely busy because everyone is home and they are installing new pools. We got put on the back burner because to them our job wasn't a big money project. A week after the phone call, the deck contractors showed up. They were in a box truck that had a roofing repair company logo on it; I really thought they were at the wrong house. Nope, they were the deck contractors; I guess they do pool decking on the side. They applied the new cool decking and left. They were there 30 minutes. Guess what? No other work was done for another week, until someone showed up to "fix" the grout line. He put more grout on top of the already chipped grout and left. Guess what happened? The grout continued to chip and fall out. Then, you guessed it: no work for another week. We would email or call the main office and ask them what was the hold up and we received several different excuses. My favorite one that was told to me by Laura (she's in charge of construction scheduling), was that since we were in St Augustine and they are in Lake Munro, FL there has to be other jobs up here for them to do because they aren't driving up here for "just us". Side note: They have an office address in Jacksonville, FL, along with a salesman, Mark. If I would have known that they only had an actual working office in Lake Munro I would have never used them. Hindsight. Another favorite excuse was that they put us on the schedule but don't know why it didn't get done, or it's raining down here so we assumed it was raining there - of course, it wouldn't be raining here. So, after texting the sales person and sending him photos of our unfinished pool and letting him know all the excuses we were told, he called the office and miraculously we were on the schedule the next week for our pool resurfacing. Pool resurfacing was done. Still no word on when grout line would be fixed and we were still waiting on a second coat of deck paint to be applied. You guessed it, we had to call and email continuously to find out when these things would be done. The deck/roofing guys showed up 2 weeks later to apply the second coat. However, they didn't apply a second coat to the edges so you can tell a color difference. Another employee came to re-do the grout line for a second time. He let the grout he removed fall into the pool on our new surface, he left grout in the grass, and ruined the coping because he was too lazy to wipe off the new grout as he was putting it in. While he was there he decided to throw 8 bags of salt in our pool because he "assumed" the salt system had been installed when it wasn't. Why didn't he call the office before he did that? Or simply ask us?? We contacted the office about that and said, "oh, well." We were contacted by the person installing the salt system to set up a day and time. So my husband took time off work to be there and the guy never showed up; he never even called to say he wasn't coming. Half a day of pay lost for my husband. After contacting him to find out why he never showed, he said he ran out of time at another job. A week later the salt system was installed. We told that guy about all of the issues with the grout and deck. He took pictures and said he would let the office know. After contacting us about the remaining balance, we expressed our concerns regarding the grout and deck. Still waiting for repairs. read more

Strongly recommend NOT using these guys. Salesman told me many lies, and then called me a liar for saying he said it. Mainly, he said they don't sub the job out, and they did. He explained it by saying 1099 is not a sub. That is exactly what a subcontractor is, 1099. The job will not be done by their employees. A few other significant lies as well. Worst part was he yelled at me, insistent that he never said these things. The subs who did the job were sloppy, and left garbage and cigarette butts all over the property. Salesman lied about the pool cleaning (turning off cleaning equipment, replacing water), they did none of that, and the $500 'cleaning fee' is a joke. I had the GM out to complain about that and other things, and gave me credit for that, but the office has repeatedly tried to bill me for that, even thought I have pointed it out multiple times. They send a bogus invoice that does not accurately reflect the payments made, and come up with the number they want. Additionally, the acrylic resurface product they are using is nothing more than paint, and stains immediately, stains which are very difficult to remove, this is after just a couple weeks. Salesman told me I'd never have to pressure wash again. Total BS. We are very disappointed in the work, and the treatment from the office personnel, where I had to fight to be properly billed. read more

Rude, refused to wear a mask, and very unprofessional. I called All Phase Pool and spoke with Jeff Foster who said he was too busy to meet me at the house for a week and a half. The day of the appointment, he called a half an hour before our scheduled time to see if I could meet early. I explained to him that I have a job and was on the road now to meet him so I could not meet early. He did not remember that I did not live there yet, did not remember what I wanted done or have any notes from our conversation with him. When I reminded him of our phone conversation, he stated "I don't remember everyone I talk to". Unprofessional and ill-prepared. Then he called my cell phone 5 minutes after our scheduled time and said "Where are you?" I was at the entrance. Wow. Not a good ice breaker. When I got out of my car wearing a mask, I apologized for being slightly late and asked him if he would mind wearing a mask. He said he had a mask in the car but didn't need to wear it. I asked him if he would wear it because it is the law to wear it. He then argued with me and asked if I had covid and said he was not in a group of people and did not need to wear a mask. I then told him that I was done and did not want to do business with him. He started arguing with me again and I walked away. How can a company like this possibly stay in business? I would not recommend this company. They were less than professional. It took longer than it should have to get the work completed. Workers left equipment in the back yard that would have damaged the lawn mower, along as a hose that they have not picked up yet. They sent people to do the work who are not wearing company shirts. While I have made my final payment, most companies would have provided the warranty and a paid in full receipt at the same time but I have yet to receive anything. Poor customer service. My pool looks ok. Lastly, they seemed less than interested with helping me get my pool light working so I went with someone else who wanted my money and spent time showing me the issue and what worked needed to be done. Do NOT hire this company. We have a very long list of why. Our pool was empty for over two months. We had a total of an hour or two of work a week, if that. The quality inspector failed the first phase three times because it was not done properly therefore we could not move on to the next phase. The pool was drained January 8th, 2014. today is March 29, 2014. I still do not call it done until they install our pool light properly. Had two different guys come out and put it in half way. It seems the only thing they are consistent with is lack of communication. There is a stripped bolt inside that needs to be pulled out in order to secure it with a new one. Also, the bottom of the pool is inconsistent. They keep telling us that will change over time. Ha! And no one has even called to ask us how things came out. Absolutely no one. They make promises they cannot keep, quoted us a price and then said prices went up and wanted more money, told us 3 times that pavers were to be delivered and they never showed. Run don't walk away from this company!!!!!! They resurfaced our pool. The work is awful. The finish is spotty not consistent. After they were done they left trash all over my pool deck. They promised me they would clean all the mess they made. A gentleman came out turned on a pressure washer got everything wet to look as if he cleaned the area. When it dried it was just as bad as before he started. Plus he shoved the garbage that was left by them in a corner on my porch and never picked it up. I called Laura in the office several times to discuss our issues of the mess, blue specks all over my pool deck, screen, and brick pavers from the grout they used, and them also cracking my driveway with their heavy truck. She did nothing about it. She is rude and not helpful by any means. Called our salesman Mark, who sold us the job and expressed our concerns he told me it was not his problem. They have yet to complete my father's pool since April, constantly making excuses and refusing to finish the job.

We hired this company for new pool construction, very large project. They handled everything professionally, and with good customer service. Our salesperson answered all phone calls, emails etc in a timely manner, and everything was done within the time frame they specified, even finishing early. We had a small hiccup arranging the cleaning of the pool to get it ready for the pool finish, but nothing more than a slight irritation, due to some unexpected weather. At this time our pool is streaked, the pool light which they took out is still out (never reinstalled), and they left the deck stained in many areas. I contracted with All Phase to resurface my swimming pool. Afterwards, I noticed that after a heavy rainfall, my self-draining pool was not draining. I discovered that when All Phase applied the slurry (a concrete-like substance) to the pool, the slurry filled in the draining holes and solidified, thereby not allowing the pool to self-drain. I contacted All Phase and they sent someone to inspect. He stated that the blockage was not caused by All Phase and that they were not responsible. I paid for $4,460 for this restoration and now the self-draining aspect of my pool is non-functional. I would not recommend All Phase as their consumer relations and responsibility toward their customers leave a lot to be desired. read more

If I could give a negative 20 review, I WOULD!! The fact the salesperson, Jeff. is nothing but a liar, is enough to make my blood boil, but the fact the COMPLETE balance of the amount due (except $250) before the job was complete was completely unreasonable. Aside from that, the steps are not smooth on the front edges, there are gapping holes between the pebble tech and the existing tile, where water leaks out, and the tile on the steps as agreed on at the time of the contract was not installed. To install the tiles on the steps after the fact will look "horrible" so says the sales guy, Jeff. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE OR GIVE THEM MORE THAN THE CUSTOMARY 50% due prior to YOUR SATISFACTION! They have $5, 500. and I have a pool that looks like crap and not a thing I can do about it, but get an attorney, which I probably will. read more

Can't say whether or not they are good at pools or not. But I can say that you need to make sure that you keep on eye on your stuff when their crews are in area. I work for a contactor and was working on a home remodel in a house the same time the homeowners had these guys come over and redo the pool. When the pool guys left at about 1130, I realized that a heavy duty Dewalt power drill that had been in my truck bed was no longer there. This house is at the end of a cul-de-sac in a small, good neighborhood. I've been working there for several weeks and never had a problem before. I called the business several times and left messages and finally, one girl called me back. She was nice and seemed concerned, said she would get the owner, Joe, to call me but that was the last I heard from them. read more
