It was advertising a shiny bass trombone complete with mouthpiece and case, all for a very good price. I couldn't come by and check it out right away, so I messaged them with some questions first. They responded quickly and went out of their way to take some more pictures of the trombone so I could confirm what I needed to know. I came in the other day and was greeted with a warm welcome. An associate led me to where the trombone was displayed, and she handed it to me so I could inspect it before I made up my mind. I decided to buy it for a smidge below their asking price, and the payment process afterwards went quite smoothly. Asides from my positive experience here as a customer, I will note that I was pretty impressed by how clean the place was. Everything out on the sales floor was neatly arranged and organized. Lots of jewelry, tools, musical instruments, handbags, etc. on display for your viewing pleasure. Items are reasonably priced, and you can tell that they are well maintained while they're here. I really liked the amount of items they had to see in the store and it is all laid out nicely. Max was the sales person who helped me and I highly recommend her. She went out of her way to send me detailed photos, follow-up and arrange pick up. She even got the ok from the owner to accept a credit card so I was very happy with all her help. My only complaint is that before I left town to pick it up I called the store and spoke to the owner to confirm that my out the door price was what I had been told by Max and that I would be using a credit card to make the purchase. Unfortunately, he told me that it was a cash only sale. I explained that Max had told me after speaking to the owner that a credit card was acceptable. He told me "Not to waste a trip". Well I really wanted the item so I went to the bank for the cash. Had I gone all the way up there without cash it would have been a real problem especially considering I got there 30 minutes before closing. I would say the owner has a history of doing things like this so buyer beware when dealing with him. I am leaving a generous 3 star review based on the fact that all went smooth after I knew I had to bring cash but can guarantee this would have been a 1 Star rating had I not called to double check the deal before heading up. It may have even turned out that I would be unable to get the cash and had to drive home empty handed after wasting $50 on gas and taking a day off from work. To the owner, in the future please be honest with what you want and are willing to accept to help avoid misunderstandings and dissatisfied customers. Honesty is always the best policy. Treat others as you would like to be treated.
