Shawn is a bartending jedi master who went above and beyond to making my event a success. His rates are extremely reasonable and he even offers the option to provide tools and supplies, should you need them. If I wasn't getting praise for my DJ, I was getting praise for my bartender. He made the drinks efficiently and delicious, there was never a stupidly long line at the bar either. Shawn is the best! Simply put. If you need a bartender for your party/wedding/soiree, etc, then look no further! We (my twin sister and I) got multiple quotes from bartenders in the area, but hired Shawn for our 40th birthday party because I pretty much felt he was the nicest guy and I trusted him right off the bat. Shawn was great from beginning to end. He was patient after supplying his quote and waited while I made my decision on which company to hire. He answered all my questions taking time to discuss what-ifs even though he had not booked the job yet. Once we booked him, he helped with everything from making a drink menu for the evening to making sure we had everything covered for the evening. He has multiple set ups for different occasions and was ready for anything (including rain). Shawn arrived early to set up. Throwing a party is stressful so it was nice to just tell him where to go and let him roll with it. Even though there was threat of rain on 3/3/18, we put him outside in the backyard. He never complained that it was cold and that it rained on him periodically (I still feel bad about that Shawn). He was all smiles and made sure that everyone was taken care of at all times. We hired Shawn last weekend for my 50th Birthday Party. He did a phenomenal job from start to finish. When I say START I mean START. From our first contact, Shawn was very professional and made the whole thing simple. This was the first time we've done a hosted bar so we had no idea what was needed or what to buy. Shawn discussed everything with us. The number of people, type of drinks we wanted to serve, length of time we'd be serving and even asked if we wanted a specialty drink. I recently just started a networking company called SoCal Connect and found Shawn on craigslist. He was very professional. Followed up with me and my business partner all the way up till the day of. Shawn is amazing!!! We received his contact info through gigmasters, and he very promptly and professionally responded to our inquiry. He was not pushy at all, but made sure to followup with us to determine if we'd decided to go with a bartender. Once we confirmed, he was incredibly easy to communicate with via email, text and phone. Our venue required we provide all of his credentials and insurance upfront, and they were VERY specific with the exact wording necessary - Shawn was so quick to accommodate all of their requests and made sure we had everything squared away within the day.
