    The "animal feces and litter" that was too much to bear. It's literally a temporary pan because I packed the large unit.

    ZERO STARS. This company is atrocious. They showed up at 8:30 am and I met them at their truck. While we were reviewing the work order, which clearly states that they'd be packing half of my place, they said they didn't have the supplies they needed and that they would have to get boxes and tape from their warehouse. I took them to my unit so they could get an idea of what they would need, they said they'd return shortly, and then they ghosted me. After calling their main office in Nashville for over an hour, I finally got a response from a man saying that he had just received a text from them (1.5 hours after they left) saying they refused to move me because they didn't want to move the items I was throwing away down to the dumpster, which was located directly in front of the truck, and that my place had "animal feces and litter" everywhere, which is a blatant lie and I have pictures and video to prove it. He also said that he didn't know why they said they didn't have supplies because the truck was fully stocked with boxes and tape. They clearly didn't want to do the job and were looking for excuses to bail. I was supposed to be at my new place in Murfreesboro to get my keys and load in by 1pm so I could go back and clean my old unit, but the second crew they sent didn't get to me until 3:30. Because of this, I had to have a friend come to watch them while I drove two hours in traffic to do my walk through before the office closed, and while I was gone, they packed my cat carrier. I had to put my cat in my car with nothing securing him, and when I got to my new place he escaped. I just got him back after over two weeks badly injured and sick. We didn't arrive to my new place until 10pm, so I was not able to do my final cleaning and I lost my deposit at my former apartment. I've also had to pay hundreds of dollars in vet bills. They quoted me between $1200 and $1800 max, and charged me $2400. Between the lost deposit and vet bills, I'm out almost 4k. I filed a complaint the next day and have heard nothing for three weeks. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and I'm contacting a lawyer. This is absolutely unacceptable.

    EDIT: We finally got to look into our storage building and it's even worse. They lost the spare key to our storage building and when we finally looked inside we found our entire house of belongings thrown around piled to the ceiling. The few boxes they did stack are getting crushed by others because they stacked it improperly. They dropped our dryer off the loading ramp. None of the furniture or electronics were wrapped. When I confronted the office he acted like I shouldn't have been upset and told me he didn't know what happened but didn't want to give me a refund because he said he already gave one that was worked into the price of the fuel surcharge. We are having to go through our lawyer. There's no excuse for what they did. The video is overlooking our belongings from above. This was from an 875 square foot duplex. They wouldn't resolve the issue so we are getting our lawyer involved. When I told him he said they can't do anything from pictures but I don't see how since that's the proof. I'd give zero stars if I could. Don't look at google reviews. They lie about how bad this place is. Most of the reviews there praise them and it's the total opposite of my experience and the reviews on yelp. A lot of the reviews I see on yelp line up with the problems I had with this company. They quote you and tell you it's an estimation but then when the job is done the price is almost double! They asked me how big my house was and what furniture I had and if we were packing ourselves. I asked how long it would take to move my things so I would know an average price of what I was looking at. They told me it would take about 3-4 hours so I was expecting to pay no more than around $1000. We had all of our things packed and condensed into the two front rooms and ready to go. I was moving my 875 square ft. house into a storage building that was 4 miles down the road. We had the usual things. Washer and dryer, two beds, couch, two tv's, a couple dressers, an empty curio cabinet and a kitchen table that we broke down ourselves. It took 6 and a half hours and when they were done they slapped me with a bill of $1,622.50. I had to max out my credit card just to pay them off. Oh, and the couch and some boxes were never moved along with the glass shelves from my curio cabinet. Apparently it wouldn't fit into the 26 ft truck (which it should have) and I would've probably had to pay for another hour to get them to make a second trip to storage. It's still here and we will have to move it ourselves. I called the office and explained how it went and that I wanted a partial refund but nope, they wouldn't give me a penny back. They told me I had quite a bit of stuff. Apparently they take pictures of your things once it's in the truck. I argued with them because it was all packed already. All they had to do was move it into the truck. I'd hate to see how much I would have to pay if I didn't pack. They also tell you they wrap everything and break down furniture but the movers told us they don't break down anything. Plus I never saw them wrap anything except the curio cabinet. All my other furniture with drawers were left to swing open when they were moving them. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to move you. This place will only rack the bill up without you knowing it until it's time to pay.

    I went to this business today @ 9am and was met by an extremely unpleasant and unhappy middle aged…read moremanager who just pulled up in his grey Toyota Tacoma 4 door. He opened the door and I asked I would like to rent a unit and his reply was we're closed come back tomorrow and quickly slammed the door in my face. I've never experienced such a negative response when trying to buy a service. This manager needs to be fired and replaced with someone who knows about customer service.

My mother rents a unit here and I was trying to get some items from that unit. I noticed a red lock on the door and realized that we had been locked out of it. I called the storplace number and was told that they could reach out to a nearby employee to see if they could help me unlock the unit. An hour passed by and nobody came to assist me. I understand, coming in for a little bit on your time off is a burden. But, I went back more than a month later to get items thinking that the lock had been taken off. It wasn't. Also, our gate code was suspended because the monthly payment hadn't been made yet. It's the freaking 11th of the month. I got locked INSIDE the gate because the gate code wasn't working. (I tried the code twice and then let somebody go ahead of me and followed them in.) Then I had to call the "office",a third party call center, to send a message to the facility that I was LOCKED IN. Then, I was able to follow another family out. I proceeded to approach the office door, which of course was locked. (There is no other public entrance to the office, even inside of the gate/rear of the storage building.) When I explained my situation to the man working the counter he said ,with a condescending attitude,"well the balance hadn't been paid." I paid the $100+ thinking that would be it and I could just come back tomorrow and access the unit. Of course that wasn't the case and he said he couldn't take the lock of without me being present. We had a doctors appointment in 45 minutes across town so the lock is still on the unit because it was "serialized". This set of circumstances is borderline cartoonish with the amount of hoops we've had to jump through. I am moving out crap out of here as soon as I can and we will never use/recommend your company again. Also why not have a direct line to the office? Absolutely ridiculous.
