    If it was possible to gv NEGATIVE STARS I would. "This is the 2nd time I used company- I only decided to use them because of current reviews.  I had an unpleasant experience with the last project - workers nice enough but space not utilized and direction not followed'-- One must ask the question what is more important competency or courtesy**should one have to lack to get the other.. I even reached by email for assistance and did not get a reply. The email is below.  I received 2 inexperienced movers that did not speak english.  They THREW my belongings into my storage unit haphazardly.  The truck had to be loaded x2 because they did not know how to load.  They continued to state boxes 1st but to see storage that is not what happened -- I had to state the same direction through G-translate for them to move forward and do the opposite.  I can not locate anything.  I purchased a larger storage unit that I needed and a 10x20 for 2bedroom no appliances -- and it is a mess - a plethora of disorder. I will have to hire them to unload/move because NO ONE will want to touch it.  It looks as if someone has gone in and took what they wanted and left the rest.  I should have been; all boxes together, bins together, and then furniture.  there would have been plenty of room-  I now have a storage that is trashed with damaged items.  see email with request to be contacted below. ...Hello I booked a move as a returning customer for July 27 2024.  I paid the deposit and set time. The 2 person team that arrived did not speak english and an excessive amount of time was spent using the google translator app that I had to recommend. They were attempting to communicate or not communicate without it. I had to give the same directions over and over.  everything goes NO APPLIANCES then everything NO WASHER NO DRYER, then just boxes bins and containers.  It was redundant and excessive -- this took up more time .  and after all of that on the 2nd load that would not have been needed if the truck would have been loaded properly they still attempted to take the freezer, washer, dryer, and fridge. When I say the truck was not loaded properly --things were just thrown about haphazardly. This also occurred inside of my 10x20 ----- 2 door storage unit. I have attached pictures. It looks as if a bomb exploded. I have no idea how it will be unloaded when I move I can barely open the doors. things on top of fragile items boxes are katy corner furniture upside down. I purchased a larger storage so that there would be additional room. If the boxes went 1st why does the unit look like it does? Why send workers that could not communicate (read or speak english) - it makes the process longer/cost more. As leaves the door open for possible damage. Why send workers that do not know how to pack/stack boxes and or furniture? I need to speak to a supervisor regarding my concerns. I do no want to speak with someone trying to sell me something I do not want to speak with the driver I want to speak with a supervisor regarding the wasted time and money.  Also the fact that I will have to use the company to empty the storage because it is in such disarray....

    Basically they did the job and were on time. I now have a scratched wall that needs repaired and painted. As well as a stained couch.

    Absolutely Terrible Experience - Shockingly Different From Last Year…read more I used this company a year ago and had a great experience, which is the only reason I decided to book with them again. Unfortunately, this move was the complete opposite. The movers showed up smelly and unprofessional, and they argued with each other the entire time they were in my home. It was uncomfortable to watch, and on top of that, they were clearly milking the clock rather than working efficiently. When my furniture arrived, several pieces were damaged--including an $800 dresser with two legs broken off, leaving it unable to stand. Three lamp shades never made it into my home during unloading, and the company initially denied they were ever part of the move. For a whole week, they ignored my calls and messages about reimbursement, after saying they would get back to me in 24 hours. They only responded once my father got involved, and even then, their offer was insulting: $70 for the three missing lamp shades and $0 for the ruined dresser. I'm extremely disappointed in how drastically their service quality declined. This company is now unprofessional, careless, and unwilling to take responsibility. I regret booking with them again, and I strongly suggest choosing a different moving company if you want your belongings--and peace of mind--protected.

I just moved this weekend from West Nashville to Franklin and these guys could not have done a better job. The quote process was quick and easy. They are super responsive and communicate well. Move time was noon on Saturday. I received a text from them around 11:40am saying running a few behind but would be there by 12:15pm or so. Once they showed it was a breeze! Huge truck and 5 guys, they had my 2 bed/2 bath apartment loaded into that truck in less than 30 minutes. I think the drive to the new place was longer than the load time. Again, super quick unload and they were all so kind, and very careful with your items. 3 hour minimum so I ended up paying for longer than what they worked, but that is moving company standards, and I've done that with just about every move I've ever done. Kudos to Jonathan and his team. Thank you for making a stressful process a little less stressful!

I will say that the last thing I wanted to do was get more estimates from movers. It was just March 2019 when I packed up our house in Alabama, where I'd lived for 15 years with my late husband, and brought our belongings back to my hometown of Columbia, TN. Because our 15-year marriage had been tossed into a 10'x30' storage unit with no way of finding what I needed, I knew sifting through it all to piece together a life after love was going to take a special moving company. Enter Shane at Marigold Movers. I'd already had one glowing recommendation for this company, and after meeting Shane, I understood why. First of all, Shane was perfectly on time, every time. Second, he was so friendly and helpful when doing the "walk-through" to work up my estimate! He probably told me more good things in casual conversation about his company and how they do business than even he realized. This is a man who appreciates his job and his boss! Third, Shane is honest. He's one of those people whose face tells you the truth before he ever utters a word. You just don't have to worry about what he says. On moving day, I made a last-minute change to the location of the first of two pickups, and Shane hadn't gotten the message in time because he's always early--but he rolled with it, saying they wouldn't charge a dime until they started working. This crew was so friendly and fun to work with, and after a couple of hours, they'd gotten to know my needs well enough to predict which boxes needed to come out of the storage unit (always checking with me first). They finished the work ahead of schedule and the cost came in under the estimated amount. At the end of the day, I ended up with some items having been moved that shouldn't have, and a table top whose legs didn't make it to my new home. Still, I would highly recommend Magnolia Movers. I'll use them again for my next move!

On time, working hard and fast from my 3rd floor apartment to my 2nd floor apartment in Murfreesboro, not a minute wasted. They are worth their weight in gold. Honest, dependable, moving experts. I called about 30 times noone there to help. I went to the physical location and it seems that it doesn't exist. The owner called me back and said last minute he cancelled my move because of my honest review. Mind you I have been waiting since 1430. Very rude. This ruined my travel plans. This is my last day in the military service and I had planned to drive to NJ and my plans were ruined. Response to the owner. Things happen, therefore it is important to have a plan in place. A refund does not solve the fact that I was lied to and only got a call back after I put in a review. A refund and to surprise me with "we are not going due to your review" does not excuse any sort of professionalism!

    I understand things happen during a move and the contract stipulates $.60 per pound. With that…read morebeing said, I wanted to provide my experience for you to decide if this is a company you want to work with. Paid $1608.33 Property MOVED: (700 square feet) 1 couch, 1 recliner, 2 bar chairs, 1 dresser, 1 night stand, 2 TVs, 1 queen metal bed frame, 1 mattress, 22 Sm to Med boxes/crates Property DAMAGED/DESTROYED: 1 couch, 1 recliner, 1 dresser, 1 qu sheet set, scratch marks on the stairs, walls, 6 boxes/crates Started the job at 9:37am. Within the first hour, I watched them stack four crates off center onto the loading gate. Less than a minute later, all four crates tumbled to the ground with the contents going everywhere. The 2nd mover asked to use the restroom, only one at the location. After 13 minutes, he came out of the bathroom were DIRT DRIED SWEAT RINGS/STAINS on the TOILET seat. I overheard EK and the other mover complaining about the amount of time it was taking and the second mover said he needed to be on the road headed to New Orleans by 1pm. At this time, it was 12:22pm and they had not loaded one piece of furniture. I left to open the destination with the assumption they were right behind me. They did not show up at the destination location until 2:09 PM. In correspondence with the owner before the insurance claim was filed, he told me they must have stopped for lunch. i.e., I PAID $179 for them to stop and have LUNCH. When I returned after a quick errand at 3:03pm. The second mover was gone and a second set of movers were there. I watched the three gentlemen have a conversation around the COUCH. At any point they could have said we SNAPPED THE FRAME and are sorry. How would you like to proceed? EK (lead mover) asked me to sign without giving me the opportunity to read the contract and took a set of allen wrenches with him. I contacted him 4xs to return my belongings. He never responded. GUESS IT BECAUSE HE DESTROYED MY PROPERTY and TRIED TO COVER IT UP. The owner Bryce Atkins gave me the insurance claim information. When I contacted him about the meager $500 SETTLEMENT. He responded, "Based on the info you provided on weight of the items, our claims company decided that you were liable to receive $238 in COMPENSATION. Thats the legal liability. I upped that to $500." "How much of a settlement offer did you expect to receive?" Full hand prints in my white sheets which had to be thrown away. Boxes marked Fragile, destroyed. Boxes with arrows pointing a direction, dropped and left upside down. At the old location, packing tape, trash and three boxes were left.
