Be aware that some paints are not dishwasher safe. You'll know by confirming with an employee or if there's a specific letter in the paint numbers of your paint tube. You can grab an apron to avoid paint on yourself. If you do get paint on yourself it's able to be washed out but I didn't want to try it. There's one hand wash station where you will also drop off your used paint tiles and paint brushes. Once you get the run down on what to do from an employee you're on your own. There's a display that shows how your paint will look on your pottery depending on if you do 1-3 coats of paint. Time will fly quickly so I painted as much as I could and went over areas a lot. You can have finished pottery shipped to you but it could be more cost-effective to have one person pick up all the pottery if you have multiple and ship it yourself. When you pick up your pottery you'll get to carry it out in the store's new reusable bag. It was very cute. There's not much parking outside but that's the area for you. It's a fun activity to do with a group. Sometimes there might be no conversation going depending on how focused people are on painting but it's also a good time to unwind and turn your brain off.

They reserved us a table easy peasy. Parking is a little difficult because it's not close to the main Downtown Alpharetta Parking lot - so if you have little kids that aren't easy to contain or don't want to walk far you have to hunt. I parked right off the street (but I got lucky). Give yourself some time to find parking. We walked in and the girl behind the counter was very friendly and super helpful. She explained to my kids what to do in a way that was engaging and they listened. All the ceramics to paint were on the walls grouped by category for the most part. Both of mine painted boxes - $26/$28. My friends painted a light switch and flower - $12/$15 You pick your piece then head to the paint wall and pick up the colors - they suggest no more than 3 colors but it's up to you what and how much. They did say the more "coats of paint" the better it'll look when it's fired. We painted and talked and enjoyed ourselves. Four items came to about $95 which is perfectly fine for an afternoon activity that you then get to keep later. We went on a Wednesday, our pieces will be ready on a Wednesday (so about a week). One of the best parts about this place is its open Sundays. It's one of the only consignment stores in the area that has great hours for the working folks! They carry all types of brands; From high-end to moderate brands, but all in great condition. They will have a sign at the front to tell you what colors are on sale. This weekend I scored a pair of AGOLDE jeans for $8. Amazing! I usually get a good amount of items for under $70. The brands I picked up included, AGOLDE, Banana Republic (NWT and this season), and some theory pants for $11. The customer service is okay. You will get greeted sometimes, sometimes you won't. I've never had a negative experience tho. Everyone is always readily available to help, if you require it. We spent the entire day yesterday getting summer clothes together as when we called, they said they're only taking summer things. However, on this day, we find out they're only taking "transitional" clothing. They sent several reminders that we had an appointment today at 1:30 with Martha, however when we got there, we did not meet with Martha. It was someone else. but learned later that Martha was sitting steps away, never greeted us. As the owner, I find that disrespectful. After they went through some of our things they decided most of them were too summery. They were only gonna keep a few things and it was at that time, they said they needed to be able to keep 15 things. That was never mentioned on any of the calls or reminders. I asked to speak to the owner and all of a sudden from the back office, I hear I'm back here come in rather than her get up and meet the guest. Her name is Martha the lady I had an appointment with that never came out. I'm shocked at the good reviews must be family members writing in. I've since told a friend about this experience and she said most of the people and Country Club of the South know of this rude owner. To add insult to injury, I am a plus size woman and one of the "ladies"held up my dress and asked her associate "do we take things this big" and the other girl very rudely said "oh no"! In a nutshell, they appeared to be a bunch of people who think they're wielding some power by picking over people's clothing. It turned out really great though cause instead, I went straight to Goodwill and donated these nice items. Still most of them have tags. Feels good to be good to people. At least the recipients can enjoy them and will be appreciative.

Before purchasing, she specifically asked about the return policy and was told "30 days." Minutes later, after deciding she couldn't justify spending over $100 with tax, she attempted to return the untouched item and was told Jellycats were not returnable. That was frustrating. What happened next was far worse. When my wife called, manager Trey suggested that our daughter had taken a bracelet she had been looking at -- effectively accusing a 15-year-old girl of theft. She had simply picked up a bracelet while shopping, carried it to the Jellycat display, and set it down there before making her purchase. She went back into the store and showed the employee exactly where she had left it. Her boyfriend recorded the interaction. She walked out bawling after being treated like a thief. Rather than apologize or show any concern, Trey remained accusatory. My wife then spoke with owner Julia Butler, who was equally rude, confrontational, and dismissive. Businesses have every right to investigate theft. They do not have the right to presume a child is guilty without establishing the facts. A 15-year-old walked into this store excited to spend her own saved money and walked out sobbing after being made to feel like a criminal. The conduct of both management and ownership was disgraceful. I would strongly caution any parent before allowing their child to shop here.
