Have you ever walked into a store and thought WOW.. this shop is full of love? Well this is what Simple Strands is. It's a small shop in a strip mall, but it is full of -everything-. If you want statuary, she has it (And it's reasonably priced). Do you need a new Tarot deck? She has at LEAST 40 decks. Do you need incense? It's there. How about jewelry? Plenty to choose from. I wasn't disappointed in what I saw. And trust me, I saw a lot! The owner works there from open to close, every day, and it is a labour of love! The store was in transition from Samhain to the next holiday, and it was cluttered, but if there was something I wanted, she knew just where it was. We had a lovely chat about the local new age population, about local covens and the acceptance/nonacceptance of her shop. It's sad when the Pagan populace is having to lecture the Christians on "Do unto Others, as ye would have done unto you." but she's had to do a lot of that, with kids and adults alike. I ended up buying a gargoyle who was just too cute to pass up, A small little monster who begged me to buy him and a present for a friend who's having a bit of trouble with the ladies. We'll see what happens with it. Do I reccomend Simple Strands? You bet I do. I'd come here every day if I lived in this area. After hearing so much about simple strands I decided to check it out as it is much closer than driving all the way to my usual go to in Roswell. I loved the diverse amount of goods sold and was happy to shop for friends back home. I purchased a bunch of cool things for a friend in need for her care package such as incense, cards, stones and candles and another a necklace for a birthday gift. On another (and last occasion) I went to shop my experience was much less than good. The proprietor not interested in customer service to say the least. I had an armful of things to purchase but when I waited for checkout I asked a question about a product and in return, I got an earful about how negative people are always coming in her store. ???? I'll be the first to admit, I'm not pagan or Buddhist, and I'm not sure what chakras are. I came here to get some cool dragon statues for my office space. I asked to see the selection and the lady behind the counter showed me a well stocked selection of little figurines- I ended up going with a fox one instead. It was very cute and the detail with the fur and the expression on the face was excellent. It was also just plain cool looking around and seeing all the things that were there. I ended up leaving with a pink rose quartz crystal too. I'd recommend stopping by if you're in the area. If you're not sure what you want to buy, it's worth it to just take a look. read more

I come to Simple Strands for SO much...... The selection of everything is awesome, but you MUST experience the vibes of this place... I travel over 2 hours to shop here, and would travel even further if need be. Even if I leave without buying anything, which has NEVER happened BTW, I leave with such a sense of peace. Great place; comfortable and friendly atmosphere! Marion is super friendly and so helpful; even the customers are pretty awesome. They have an array of crystals, candles, books, etc. It's not a huge place, but it's got a lot of stuff....a lot! There's stuff for those into Buddhism, Wicken, and so much more. I went here in search of a sage smudge stick. What a cool place! Beyond that, however, is the sweet, helpful lady (I'm assuming the owner) I've read about in other reviews. Even with my four kids in tow, touching everything, this woman was very warm and compassionate with us.
