Now that I have read some of the other negative reviews for All-in-one-Renovations and Mr. Demshick, I feel I am compelled to expound on my experience. My husband and I contracted with All-in one... for a bathroom and kitchen upgrade. In the bathroom, we found the tile was not installed evenly on the walls and there was grout missing in the corners and at the floor. Aren't these joints supposed to be sealed? We confronted James' tile guy about it and was told it needed a special calk grout and that it would be taken care of by the end of the job. Additionally we found grout on parts of the shower where it shouldn't have been. This time we brought it to James' attention directly and was told it would be taken care of in the final cleaning. We expected our nice new marble vanity and kitchen counter tops to be installed one day and they never showed up. Additionally other materials such as lighting and plumbing fixtures and the kitchen flooring had not arrived. Things we paid for and should have been on the site 3 weeks earlier. Also job progress had slowed down and past the agreed to completion date. When we confronted James again asking why the material was not on site and the job was delayed he stated the job had cost more than expected and he needed more money to complete. We refused because we had a set price in the contract and by him demanding more money; he was breaching a legally binding contract. Not only that, no written change orders were presented for our acceptance as required in the contract. In no way were we going to pay more for what was agreed to. Suddenly the crew and their tools disappeared. Unfortunately we had paid the next to last progress payment which left less than 7% of the project cost outstanding while the job was only 70% finished. We repeatedly tried to get in touch with James via phone calls and text, but there was initially no response. Finally we texted James and asked him to refund the money for the unfinished part of the project or we would sue for breach of contract. This time we received a response strongly refusing to refund any money and threatening us by encouraging us to sue him. He said he would see us in court. The end result has been that they abandoned the job and we never did get James to come back to finish or compensate us, thus breaching the contract. We had to have it finished by another contractor, costing us lots of time and a lot more money than the original price. In essence James stole from us by not completing the job after being paid most of the contract amount and stole from us by us having to pay another contractor more. Again, worst experience ever. Do not use these people!! They will be sued out of existence or jailed for theft one day. read more

While on the site, the workers exhibited extreme negligence and left a huge mess after each session. After a few days, the pace of the work began to slow considerably, and after that, the crew abandoned us completely--no phone call, no note, and nothing resembling an explanation. All of our phone calls were ignored, but we remained adamant in trying to contact the owner , Mr. Demshick, whose attitude towards our persistence can only be described as belligerent. The man gloated that he had gotten the better of us, and that there was not a single thing that we could do about it. When we threatened litigation, he laughed in our faces and told us that he was not the least bit worried that legal action on our part would do anything to damage him or his business. This man is a narcissist and a chauvinist with an inflated ego. He thinks he can do whatever he wants to without consequences or accountability, and holds a delusional belief that his actions are beyond reproach. Most of the positive reviews listed here are fabrications--written by Mr. Demshick himself or one of his associates in order to inflate the reputation of his firm despite a multitude of similar complaints ranging from poor service to people getting conned out of even more money than my wife and I. He needs to understand that unless he compensates us adequately, we will assure that Mr. Demshick and his business will suffer serious repercussions when we take him to court. For anyone else reading this, please be aware that this man is a swindler and that his entire operation is a farce. Although I deeply sympathize with Mike W unfortunate experiences I have read, it is somewhat vindicating to know that I am not the only one what has been a victim to All In One's scam operation. After they pulled the same stunt while renovating my kitchen, I did some personal research and investigation into their operations and was unsurprised to learn that all of the unfavorable accounts across various review sites, as well as my own experience with them are not unique. For years, All in One has been scamming clients by demanding upfront payment and then abandoning the site well before fulfilling their contractual obligations. From what I can tell, they do not even purchase the materials and fabrications required for their jobs. Their workmen and manager (whose name is James Demshick, in case anyone else is interested in catching this criminal), responded very evasively every time I asked when they were planning on purchasing specific items. I am embarrassed that this did not raise a red flag sooner. I am seriously planning on suing this company, and I sincerely recommend that anyone else they have wronged do the same. I would take great satisfaction in seeing these con men brought to justice. I wish this site gave the option of rating businesses as "zero star", because even a single star is too good for them. If anyone do not wish to lose your life savings, never bother to hire them! read more

All In One Renovations recently renovated our master bathroom and we couldn't be happier. The entire experience was great from the beginning of the project when we met with James to review what needed to be done until the end. All work to be done is detailed in the quotation, no gray areas or question marks. James sent Brian and Mimo to work on our project and they have to be two of the nicest people i ever met. They also modified our closet to gain more space in the shower area, what a world of difference and my wife has that shower bench she always wanted. The tile work is absolutely beautiful. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, clean, prompt. Their attention to detail is second to none. I couldn't be there every day so i gave them the garage door opener and they came and went until project was complete. They clean up at the end of every day, my house was cleaner when they left than when they arrived the next day. From the Demolition to the final touches they did a great job. All in One Renovations is everything you want in a contractor and more. So glad I found All in One Renovations and had the pleasure of meeting James, Brian and Mimo. I would not hesitate to call them for any other future home projects. I will definitely recommend this company to family and friends. I would give them six stars but this review only allows five. James and Luda transformed our small, dated kitchen into a beautiful area that far exceeded our expectations. Everything was detailed in the contract, and we worked together to stay within the budget. We followed Luda's product and material suggestions, and thanks to her design, there's an island, more cabinets, and more room for everyone to move around. With meticulous planning, the kitchen now has so much more space that it looks like we had the room enlarged. Brian and Memo are perfectionists, and take pride in their workmanship. The trim work and moldings were cut with fine precision and are absolutely beautiful! "Everything is possible" was a frequent comment, and they worked to make it a reality. They have tremendous respect for each other and our home, which made it a pleasure to have them working in the house. They kept the house as clean as possible during the project, and did an amazing job of cleaning up their work area at the end of each day. We hired All In One Renovations for our project because we were able to get what seemed to be a good price and they promised an excellent and timely result. We signed a contract then work began. Progress was satisfactory until the job was nearing the end and we paid our last scheduled payment before the final closeout payment due upon satisfactory completion. At this point the progress slowed and when confronted, they broke the contract by leaving the job-site and the project unfinished. After repeated attempts to get them to finish the job, we had to pay another contractor to finish the job and correct some deficient workmanship. This significantly increased our cost way beyond our budget, and caused us great disappointment and anxiety. What is necessary now is for All In One's owner to contact us to reimburse us for our losses, the sooner the better. If not, he and his business will suffer significant consequences. read more

I can't believe that this company is still in business! My husband and I hired All in One a few years ago to redo my kitchen and first-floor bathroom, and it is uncanny how similar my experience was to the stories that I'm reading here. After witnessing the mess, the negligence, and the overt antagonism exhibited by virtually all of the representatives of All in One who I had the misfortune of dealing with, I was nearly certain that they wouldn't be in business for much longer. They provide such poor quality service and are completely unapologetic about it. Blaming a negative review on a disgruntled ex-employee seems right up their alley in terms of low-integrity behavior. Anyways, I just figured that I would drop my two cents on the matter. It seems as if these poor folks have been conned even worse than I was. I was not impressed with the work All In One provided during the refurbishing of my kitchen. The workers were messy and unfriendly, they did not respect my time or stick to any type of schedule, and materials were substituted for cheaper alternatives without my consultation. Things could have been worse, though. I have heard stories of them abandoning projects halfway through after being paid in full and without refunding anything. read more

6/24/2015 I had my kitchen done by this company in June of 2015. The experience was great. I just hired them to redo my master bathroom and they delivered again. The tile work is excellent. The owner is a great guy and his team is very respectful. Definitely recommend them. read more
