Club Wyndham Skyline Tower - view from balcony

The balcony is wonderful!…read more The bathroom was spacious but there are no hooks by the shower for towels. The hook for the hand towel is so low, the towel goes right into the sink. We couldn't understand why the tub, sink, and toilet were on top of each other when there was so much room to spread out -- including an almost empty bathroom closet. There is no "Constant Fan" option on the thermostat. The cost of parking, $186, is excessive. That alone would prohibit us from returning to Club Wyndham. Check-in is bizarre: One has to pull their car up to the garage entrance, leave it double-parked in the street, and then walk through entering/exiting garage traffic to check in before being able to park the car. It is both stressful and dangerous and poorly planned. If not for Niaz's help, we would not have known what to do. Otherwise, the room was wonderful (except for the on/off Wifi and bathroom) and the security is exceptional. We also loved the efficiency of the elevators (wish check-in and parking worked as smoothly). But the entire staff is fantastic and the hotel is spotless -- everywhere. We did have a great stay but parking and weak Wifi prevents us from giving the property five stars.

This was a great room, spacious had more of a small apartment feel to it, nice comfy bed & good toiletries to use. The kitchen comes in handy when u have left overs, nice living room space comfy couch & big TV to watch. U have a decent size balcony, chairs set up nice to sit & just enjoy the views. Decent indoor pool good size serves its purpose. Beach is right down the street & so is the boardwalk. Amenities are limited on the property, there's a game room, movie theater no restaurants on property. Best thing about this Hotel is its location & my reason for giving it the 4 stars, near the end of the boardwalk which is great since it's away from the crazy crowds. We had an enjoyable stay because of it's convenient location.

Also the building was in a hotel so when you go out someone approaches you saying if you go for this orientation or meeting you get a free 3 day night away and a $100 cash to the casino. If you agree and go they basically trying to sell a times share and trying to force that on you to get it.If you not signing up they get mad and call different sales team to come speak to you. DO NOT PURCHASE TIMESHARE FROM THE FLAGSHIP!!! Today is a…read moresad day as a Flagship timeshare owner. We have been vacationing with Fantasea resorts, the owner of the Flagship for over 20 years; the timeshare has been paid off for years, and we only pay the annual maintenance fee which has tripled over the years. Nevertheless, we continue to pay in full every year with no problem. We were a little late this year, so we paid in full and included a late fee. We received a call from a collection agency asking for $300, and we thought it was a joke. We contacted the Flagship for assistance, and Tony in the Maintenance Fee Department was very rude and dismissive. He said letters were sent out last year with the new policy and he didn't care that we were loyal customers; he stated he was black and white, and the rules are the rules. Needless to say, we never received the new policy. We explained that we always pay our bills, our credit score is in the 800's and the negative effect this would have on our credit. He said it didn't matter to him, and was doing is job. We told him we wanted to cancel our affiliation with this timeshare, and he stated, "this is a deed, not a rental". We expressed this was poor customer service and he stated, "I'm in the collections department, not customer service". If the Flagship treats longtime customers like this, can you image how they would treat new customers? We are completely disappointed and disgusted by the way we were treated by the Flagship. We are ready to end this relationship.

Reposting on Yelp as The View has taken down my + many other former tenants HONEST reviews. They…read moreclaim that they don't take reviews down, but I've seen it happen to 5+ former tenants. I genuinely enjoyed living here, but the $400 a month rent increase when I tried to renew my lease is what lead to a 1 star review. The new management is great (compared to the 3 different management teams during the short time I lived there) and I know the increase was coming from corporate. However, the building is not worth almost $3000 a month to live in a glorified studio. Now they're left with a bunch of empty units because no one will renew or a sign a lease at these outrageous rates. The building is a ghost town. It's really a shame that they're losing SO many tenants over this. Not to mention, this building is disgusting at this point. I went back to visit some friends a few weeks ago. I found a shattered handle of alcohol just sitting in the hallway. They are really letting this place go, it's terrible. If it's this bad now, I could only imagine how bad it is in 5 years. I must share one of my memories at The View - when a domestic dispute carried into the entire building with a man breaking doors to enter into back into the building after being escorted out by the police. My boyfriend, who is a corrections officer, had to handle the domestic dispute because the front desk was unsure what to do. The back door is still broken from this (it happened in August/September) and anyone can walk right in by pulling on the back door. **Also, many of the 5 star reviews on Google are employees of Priderock. I have countless emails with their names in the signature line.

Updated Review: I have had two leases in this building since January of 2020. When we first moved…read morein, some amenities were not accessible or available as it was a new building and COVID precautions were in place. We knew what we were getting into and we were super patient about it. Everything was great, obviously since we signed two leases. The original staff was amazing and super helpful and informative. There has since been changes with staffing and management. I submitted a work order for my ceiling on November 8 2021 and as of now has not been addressed (January 9th 2022) Maintenance came to fix, yet another, leaky ceiling and left the job incomplete with a patchy paint job that clearly does not reflect luxury living. I've emailed about this twice. They have also come to fix a leaky kitchen faucet, which they left very lose and feels like it can fall off at any moment. Emailed about this half done job a week ago. On top of the sloppy maintenance work, our renewal lease option that was originally presented to us was an increase of $500 in rent & $100 in parking. So a total of $600 monthly increase to renew. Obviously that prompted us to look else where. We found a great apartment in Rittenhouse Square thats $200 less than what we pay now. So it actually worked out for us in the end. They did try to negotiate another offer , however at that point we've already seen other, more convenient apartments, so it was too late. The building itself used to be kept a lot better. Not so much now. The walls were a mess. They just recently painted them. Just in time for tours, assuming many residents will be moving with this rent increase. Morning front desk staff is pleasant, always speak always nice. Night shift is completely different. Always on their cell phone, heads down. Not attentive. Just there. There is one girl who always speaks and is nice , everyone else needs more training. Someone on staff is always sitting in theater room just hanging out. The rooftop deck is finally open after two years, sort of. The elevator button to the roof is disabled for whatever reason. The building isn't terrible , they just need to figure out the maintenance/ management issues so tenants won't experience a two month delay like I have. Take more pride in keeping the building clean. Train staff appropriately, and bring back community events (NOT the ones that we currently have to sell a product/service ) Those feel like timeshare presentations. If these issues are fixed , then maybe asking for more $$$$ a month won't be as insulting.

So in the morning of June 25, my significant other and I went to this business. Eden Vacations appears to be a franchise from an AZ-based parent company. Given the rather flimsy banner loosely tacked over the door, I'd say they had been in business only a few weeks. After being checked in and shown to our assigned table, we were greeted by an overly eager salesman. We answered a few questions about our travel habits, we were welcomed by the too-nervous owner, then sat through a 30'ish minute PowerPoint presentation. The presenter was a decent speaker and did her best to connect with the audience. The PowerPoint, however, needed work. But we were trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, since it seemed they'd just opened. This is not a traditional time share pitch, but it is sort of like a time share that you can use anywhere. There are about 5 packages at different price points, and of course the higher in price you go, the more options you have. If I remember correctly, the lowest package only got you a week of discounted lodging at your choice of destinations. After the presentation, our salesman came over and ran through the various options. I think the lowest was about $5,000 and the highest was around $16,000. Of course there was a small price break to sign up right then and there. Why anyone would willingly part with $16,000 after only a couple of hours of glossy photos and vague details is beyond me, but a couple of people did sign up. We, however, did not. When it became clear we were not going to purchasing any package, our salesman brought us our airline and cruise certificates, briefly explained how they worked, and we were on our way. It will cost your $75 and $99 in cashier's checks (+ the $8 for the 2 checks my bank charged) that you must send in with your certificates within about 21 days of the presentation. The certificates we received were for VIP Travel Reservations. According to the fine print, VIP would forward the vacation planning package upon receipt. We sent our completed certificates and cashier's checks via certified mail (another $3 or so), as required, to VIP on July 5. I confirmed they received the envelope a few days later. As of early August we still had not heard anything. VIP employees are generally helpful when you get them on the phone, but they only accept calls from 10am - noon and 1 - 4pm EST. And their phone is often busy. You can leave a message; sometimes you'll get a call back, sometimes you won't. Their website (viptravelreservations.net) is not currently working, which leads me to believe they too won't be in business much longer. On August 11, I finally got a hold of a helpful VIP employee who told me my certificates were rejected because the sponsor - Eden Vacations - never completed their portion of the form. Eden had stamped the certificates (I kept copies of EVERYTHING), and after hearing this the employee spoke to his supervisor and informed me they would accept them. Unfortunately, that evening I saw in the mail they had sent the certificates, and fortunately the two cashier's checks, back. The stamp Eden used had worn off and there was clearly no info on the sponsor. While we could have tried it again, given that it has been this much hassle, we were still going to have to pay additional fees such as taxes and port charges, and that VIP's website seems now non-existent, we decided to cut our losses and redeposit the money from our cashier's checks. Fortunately, we're out only about $11-12 and a couple of hours of our lives. So, buyer beware! Perhaps you'll sit through the presentation and decide to purchase one of their packages. If their services work for you, I say enjoy. Regardless, if you are given a certificate for any sort of free travel, MAKE SURE THEY COMPLETE THE SPONSOR INFORMATION! Be a nag about it and don't leave there until you are 100% sure the certificate is completed properly by them. But mostly, don't waste your time on these sorts of travel companies. I think those who do sign up will shell out the money and only use the service a few times. They live fat off your hard earned money and you don't take full advantage of any services. Sorry, Eden, but you've angered the wrong person and now I will make sure others learn from my mistake and are not taken in by your claims. I will be posting this and similar reviews of your company on other sites.

We didn't check it out until the last night, and the view was amazing! Wish we had taken advantage of that every day! Cons: the terrible pitch you get upon arriving.
