I hired Boaz Electric to do two things: 1.) rewire some cables in my master bedroom. 2.) replace out the old outlets with new ones. The owner name is Rudy and he is the one who completed the job. He also mentioned that he doesn't patch walls - this point is very important as you're reading my review. Without my consent, Rudy cut open my master bedroom closet drywall and didn't even bother patching them up. I understand he doesn't patch walls but why cut open my master bedroom closet? In addition, he left my house with a mess, used outlets throughout my house, dust everywhere, and debris from the drywall all over my closet. This part is purely my mistake. I didn't make a big fuss about the mess Rudy left behind in my house because I figured that he'll come back to do one more round of clean up. So I gave him the final check. Bad mistake. Rudy collected the final payment and refused to 1.) patch the walls and 2.) do a final clean up. Instead, he said, "this is not my job, you go find someone else". It's very clear that Boaz Electric took advantage of my kindness here. I've asked 1 electrician and 1 contractor to come out to review the work completed by Rudy. They both agreed that this is poor quality work and it's an unacceptable job. Matter of fact, they also confirmed there's an easier way to rewire the cables, cut some holes and fish the wires to the other side of the wall. Simple! But Rudy failed to do so. Please see attached photos of the damages in my closet caused by Boaz Electric. I texted Rudy and expressed my frustration on his work and requested he take 1/2 of the financial responsibility for the repairs. No reply. Please see attached text exchange. I tried calling Rudy again and again. He finally answered and I purposed that we find a solution that we both can agreed to and he refused. In addition, he yelled at me over the phone, "I told you I don't care! This is your problem and not mine. Don't call me again!". Rudy nonstop yelling at me over the phone as if I'm the one who destroyed his house. Very unprofessional. Please take your business elsewhere.

I tried texting again and calling to no avail, and he even has his read receipts on his text so it shows that he read my text but chose not to reply. A simple No or reply would have been ok with me rather than leaving me hangin, very unprofessional.

If I could give them 100 stars I would, because out of 19 years of home ownership and dealing with countless contractors and handymen, Amili was by far the best in terms of knowledge, experience, helpfulness, honesty, professionalism, and general human kindness and warmth. The previous few HVAC contractors I scheduled to look at our heater all said to replace the unit, which would cost at least $20K, and with the Trump tariffs, it would go up by $2K more. We were trying decide what to do but I gave this google nest suggestion a try, and it saved us! Amili showed me what was going on, which was just a filter issue (stupid us). The previous maintenance folks didn't do things correctly, and the contractors I got estimates from weren't honest! They just wanted a hefty project. I consider anyone our contractor friend refers us to be highly trustworthy and skilled as he uses Rack City Electric for his own home projects. We had had some work done in our attic by another company which left us with a broken ceiling fan and 6 canned lights not working in our kitchen. We were concerned that the wiring in our attic had been messed with and we're worried about safety. I hired Jaron to come out to see if he could fix the lights and ensure our wiring was safe. He was such a professional and fixed our lights right away and made us feel much better about the wire situation in the attic. We had him return to install new recessed lights in two of our bedrooms and install an outdoor light on our patio. He did all the work himself and was efficient and very pleasant to have in our house. Even our dogs liked him! As the saying goes, there are more fish in the ocean. Otherwise, if your time is important to you and you feel you'd be better served by an outfit that actually cares about your electrical needs, employing these folks would be a waste of time and an unwise decision indeed. But if you do, caveat emptor.... They may be "Honest" Electric, but they're certainly not Honestly "Trying" Electric. Sorry.
