I have tried a lot of catering food consisting of under-seasoned chicken and overcooked salmon, but this was anything but. All the proteins we chose (grilled chicken, seared salmon, grilled shrimp, and crispy tofu) were seasoned well and not overcooked. There were so many veggie sides. My favorites were avocado, glazed walnuts, charred cauliflower, blistered tomatoes, fire-roasted garlic broccoli, and roasted beets. Everyone got to compose their own protein + grain + veggie plate. I joked to the other guests that I felt like this was Thanksgiving, but with better healthier options. This was the first "Thanksgiving" that I did not get food coma after a filling meal.

Next to the Chatham Green complex and across from Police Plaza there is a pop-up serving meals, breakfasts and lunches, that I had been overlooking, to my detriment. They call it a "summer pop-up" so this sorely needed source of prepared meals is in question as to how long this will continue. They have tables set up on the sidewalk, that is sparsely trafficked. So you can enjoy a nice quiet meal, unlike the others that are located next to busy streets. Don't mind the police barricades, as the street is fully open to pedestrians. I am so satisfied. I had the pulled pork sandwich. The pork was so tender, delicious on nice quality Italian bread. The food was served up promptly, and hey, for the Manhattan location, and quality food, prices are more than reasonable, and this is a bargain with a capital "B". The menu changes with the day of the week. You can see them online at www.deborahmillercatering.com.

We wanted to support an AAPI owned business and Gaddy Lane was not only that, but also female owned. Fabulous! Communication was great from beginning to end, and they arrived on time with the delivery. We opted for an assortment of sandwiches and some side salads. The sandwiches were all a huge hit, especially the vegan cauliflower one (by everyone, not just vegans). My only complaint is the side salads left something to be desired; they were basically just lettuce. A bit pricey compared to some of the other catering options that we looked at, but happy to support a small business!

We got all these different kinds of sandwiches, and they were in half portions so you could try more than one type if you so pleased. I'm one of the few vegetarians in the office, and they provided these amazing eggplant sandwiches. I ate 3 (halves so thats just 1.5 but still). This was one of the best in-office lunches I've had. I also noticed that they brought the food up to the office, and the way they organized it was so clear. Sometimes it's a struggle to identify what everything is, but they labeled everything! I highly recommend working with them if you're in need of catering, the food and service is top notch!

And dessert? Lemon cake, flan and chocolate mousse cake that was fluffy and light and not too sweet. I would not use any other caterer! Seriously good food and amazing professional service. He was always one step ahead and prepared to answer all our questions, and make helpful suggestions for food items and presentation. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and such a joy to work with. All our guests were so impressed and loved the cocktail hour appetizers as well as all the buffet items! Every single one made it a point to tell us how much they enjoyed the food! What was most important was how positive Adolfo had been, and it showed with his staff on the day of the wedding. They were all smiles and made sure my husband and I were served every course throughout the evening. Before the wedding ceremony even started, they helped our friends and family set up final touches for the decor and centerpieces, and they made sure everything went smoothly for the guests to feel welcome.
