Once Jewel picked our Barkley up, she just gave me a sad look and said he'd probably have to be shaved down. I asked if she couldn't get the mats out and keep his coat at least a few inches long. She noted the mats were up against his flesh and while she could work on them, it would be very painful for our pup and he would be afraid to ever get groomed again. Jewel made a lot of sense. She wasn't taking the easy way out. Or looking to charge a ton of money to work out those mats. No. She was more concerned for the comfort of our puppy. And in the end, isn't that what we all want? We got our puppy back - Jewel did a great job keeping his face and tail with his beautiful coat and blended it to the rest of his body. We learned our lesson and grooming is now a daily routine so he'll never have to go through this again. And once Barkley's coat is back on track, routine grooming at Jewels is an absolute given.

They brought Maggie out her ear lobes bleeding saying she shook her head. I said NO What do I owe you. They said. Nothing since there is an issue and here is where you can take her. Since it was weekend I couldn't find any affordable. 245$ later. I walked out of the vet With steroids and antibiotics and directions to keep her ears (lobes) covered. We highly recommend For the Love of Dogs but moved a little too far. The schedule is always booked so don't think you can 'squeeze in' here; that's not a thing.

It took us several weeks to get an appointment, which after his appt I can understand why. They were AMAZING! Customer service was top notch. I appreciate that they actually ask for canine vaccination records prior to their appt. They went over in detail every aspect of his groom, asking my preference on cut, length, etc. I met with his groomer personally at drop off. She advised me of pricing, $50, which is reasonable for a doodle in my opinion. She told me it would take her roughly 3-4 hrs to complete, and they would let me know when he was done. Upon pick up. Brownie was resting comfortably on a towel in a crate. The room was quiet...there was 1 other dog in a crate. I told them that Brownie loved people but was fearful of other dogs. (We are working on that.) She said she put him in the quieter room and you could tell he was very comfortable. Their facility is very secure, as you have to be let into the building. Parking is able and close to the door. The groomer came out at pick up to ensure I was pleased with his groom. All around top notch service!!!

(She had also been rude to a coworker I referred which was embarrassing) I heard screaming in the background and she handed the phone off to Tanya. I thought we resolved the issue which was to cancel my appointment as my dog shots were past due by 2 months. I was then bashed on their Facebook page and person page. It was very disappointing as I have always referred family & friends here. Have left numerous reviews, always been understanding, on time, and supporting small businesses. Tip and gave them a gift card for Christmas to show my appreciation and I was very disappointed in the post and responses. I was not planning on coming to social media with this issue but Tanya has left me no choice as this has continued all day and more posts have been made. Overall it was unprofessional and they are very unappreciative of ANYTHING we have done. Numerous people have started to come here due to our recommendations and giving out their business cards. It is just very sad that this is how they handle situations. It was rude and unprofessional. This is partly why people businesses fail, they really don't know anything when it comes to customer service whatsoever. There are many groomers out here in competition with them and I would definitely recommend finding someone else as I will be pulling everyone I've referred.

We were at our wits end and about to surrender our pup back to the shelter we rescued him from. I'm telling you that 38 minutes saved our sanity and maybe even our pups life. We now have him enrolled in doggy day school and have a private lesson under our belt with another scheduled. We are so grateful for Duffy's and for the trainer Jana that we met yesterday. It means a lot to us that our dog is safe and treated well while also being dog the absolute fundamentals to being domesticated while simultaneously training US how to speak our dogs language. I'm mind blown by all of the patience and information provided by staff here and we have sincerely looked forward to each day he gets to attend "school". Our voices will be lower in our home when dealing with our doggy and our patience extended now that we see where we were wrong in trying to correct him with our people ways. Thank you Duffys!!! Also, big shout out to Jana for being so kind to My children who came in ready to play and explore instead of listen and learn lol.
