Varies between digital media, traditional, and life drawing and painting! I go weekly to life drawing/painting sessions where there's a nude model, and proper lighting. The space is big enough to fit 10 people I'd say. There's even free coffee and light snacks! Whether you're a hobbyist or a pro artist, I highly recommend it as an artist myself.

My friend and I wandered in on a Sunday afternoon to find a children's art class going on. The staff were highly engaged in the class but did briefly stop to greet us and to let them know if we needed anything. The space isn't huge as the majority of it seems to be dedicated to their art classes, but they have the basic supplies, plus some other fun items that are sure to catch your eye. There is a small room which looks to be a gallery of sorts, but it was hard to tell exactly what was going on with the space. The Shop has all the tools I needed to tackle a pretty advance woodworking project and the owners were great about helping me when I got stuck. The pricing was super reasonable. Making a mess of their shop was way better than making a mess of my living room. Now thinking of other projects to do there.

We had a substitute teacher and she was very attentive to each student. She started to demo what we'd have to do for the class and went to each student providing guidance and help. The second class we had another instructor, she taught us how to trim all our pieces using a wide variety of different tools. We also had to option to sculpt other pieces as well. On our third class, we learned how to glaze the pieces and there were so many color options. I was able to make about 6 pieces and in a few weeks we get to pick them up. It's a great way to try something new before commiting to sign up for a longer class. They have 3 studios all along Dundas and you get a lot more than what you pay for.

My nearly-6 year-old daughter loved immersing in the various media (sculpture, printmaking, painting) and spending a half day just creating. I love that it's in a space that still feels like a home--how long till we no longer have spaces with wood trim and narrow hallways? Definitely not a modern aesthetic, but for us that was truly part of the comfortable, welcoming, artsy vibe. The instructor really noticed my daughter's particular abilities and we enjoyed discussing art--she was leaving teaching to pursue her own painting with more focus and I wish her well!
