I came here to experience community acupuncture with Kat Myers and Shelley (sorry I don't remember…read moreher last name). It is a new appointment drop in from 1 o'clock to 3:35pm. It was excellent! I felt relaxed and pampered. The space was beautifully decorated. I wish it wasn't so far from my house. I will definitely go back to their other community acupuncture events. It is only $25 the person or if you bring a friend it's two for $40. The mind body Spirit Center's brochure says rejuvenation and regeneration in an environmentally conscious center. There's also a nurse practitioner who provides nutritional counseling, immune enhancement, allergy testing and women's healthcare. Kat Myers also does yoga, qi gong, body rolling and offers workshops. I'm definitely going to check those out!

I give it a four star with conditions. I liked the owner--a well trained nurse practicer a lot--she…read morehas a thorough questionnaire that she vets. I went there for only acupuncture, so if you want to just tell her your symptoms of discomfort or pain and be treated, this is not your place as she wants a complete physical and mental health recap. The place is also not open all the time--so if you want to cancel an appointment or make changes, then you may need to wait 3 days as they don't have long hours and are closed on Fridays and the weekends. She didn't come back at the end of my treatment to remove the needles and her staff missed one, which caused me to have jarring pain when I put on my pants!! I took the needle out and then said, "You missed one!" and she didn't apologize but just took it from me and dropped it in the trash. I also called to reschedule a follow-up appointment and the woman on the phone didn't seem all that interested in finding a date solution. So, I just didn't make another appointment and I don't think she cared a hoot. I think her current staff is subpar but I liked her. Maybe this should be a 3.5 star review???

My experience with Terri was outstanding. Very easy to book online. I had an at home private…read moresession and attended a meditation sound bowl healing class with a friend at the Shantiful studio. Both experiences were unique yet similar: * The studio session was relaxing to the point that my racing mind was able to go blank for a decent period of time, just absorbing the vibrations of the bowls echoing in the room. * The private session made me feel grounded especially being outside in the grass with the mixed in sounds of nature. I will definitly be brining more friends to the class sessions and hope to host a private event featuring Terri as well because everyone should get to experience the peace her sound meditation will bring you!

Today, at Sound & Light Healing, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY I experienced one of the John of God Crystal…read moreBed Chakra Healing Light Therapy lamps/beds. John of God is a mystic/medium in Brazil, and his chromotherapy-style lamp uses 7 quartz crystals to clean and strengthen your chakras by sending corresponding chakra-colored lights through crystal-clear, highly polished Vogel-cut clear quartz crystals and onto your chakra centers from 12" above your body. Please research this healing practice (ie, lamp/bed) online for more specifics on how this healing practice works. YouTube even has videos of Oprah's interview with John of God. For best results, arrive well hydrated and wearing white clothing from head to toe. After my 40 minute session, I felt a little spacey but had some insights as if I had been in a light meditative state. I felt rejuvenated! After the crystal bed session, Rev. Christopher Gallagher printed out a short but informative eastern numerology report about me; led me in Kundalini meditation mantras/music personalized to my numerology; and did a Reiki healing on my leg. After, we talked about gong healing; both New Thought and Science of Mind beliefs; Sikhism; Reiki; and even Sukyo Mahikari. I was in such a state of love and light after I left for the grocery that the cashier at Fry's noticed and asked me if I was in love!!!! LOL! I told her no but that I had done chakra therapy and Kundalini mantras! Specifically, Guru Kram Gallagher is an Inuitive Healer, Reiki Master/Teacher; Gong Master/Teacher; Kundalini Yoga Certified Teacher; Science of Mind practitioner; and New Thought minister. He provides numerous services and insights at his establishment and events around the city. Please review his website for more information, his calendar of events, and further contact information. Although I have been a Sedonan for 2+ years I had only found 2 people I will let physically touch…read moreme before finding Taleen. When I moved here, I realized everyone fancied themselves a healer. I found most of those claims to be fluff or inflamed egos, and did not want their energy field touching me/overlapping with mine as I am INCREDIBLY sensitive. I was led to Tserendipitously, and did not know anything about her before our appointment. I felt Spirit giving me the green light despite all of my typical logical resistance trying to pop up (no idea what she's like, didnt read any reviews, etc.). The moment we met, I knew I was safe. Taleen's BEING is healing. No claims need to be made about healing abilities when light, kindness, and conscientiousness pour out of you without words. Her very beingness allows what needs be purged out of you to flow out totally uninhibited. I've never had such a powerful experience where the person's presence was leading the session far more than words. I couldn't stop what was coming up...tears, sobs, words were gushing out because the love pulsing out of her hands made me feel so safe that my heart knew it was finally okay to let go. The setting in her healing space is white, bright, pure, cheery, hopeful. The music? Straight from God. It was as if it was choreographed with the images, feelings, thoughts, memories being conjured within me. An incredible experience from beginning to end. So overcome, I insisted my friend see her the same day (which she generously accommodated), and his experience was HUGE. We both needed a couple days to integrate such a big moment in our lives. She is a testament to what it looks like when you truly dive in to your authenticity: her own authenticity was enough to begin to heal me and allow mine to peak through. If being ourselves can do this for another, it made me realize it's a dereliction of our human duty to be less than what Spirit intended us to be. Thank you again and again, Taleen. I feel like I've known you forever and feel so lucky to be on the receiving end of what is obviously your natural healing gifts! Her attention to detail of her healing space, the music, her touch, her voice: it creates the perfect setting for a divine healing and awakening. God bless you and thank you, you divine soul!
