I will admit to being a tad suspicious when I see nothing but rave reviews for any business or service. Nevertheless, I contacted All Electrical Solutions to fix the fluorescent light in my kitchen. Steve suggested that I replace it with LED lights as the type of fixture I had would need to be fixed again in a few years. I liked the idea very much. Steve showed up with the lights, on time and with all of the equipment needed for the job. It meant a lot that he cleaned up when he was done. Steve is extremely professional and polite and friendly. Sometimes when looking for a good reputable company to work on your home is daunting, but Steve makes you feel comfortable right away. I chose him because of prior reviews. When he came up to quote he was extremely honest with me to the point where he said the easiest and cleanest solution is to just purchase a new washer dryer rather than spend the time and money on re wiring the apartment. He explained everything to me in great detail as I requested, and in the end because of his honesty I knew he was not trying to rip me off because if I didn't do the job with him he would have only gotten a service call fee from me instead of talking me into an expensive job. I felt so comfortable from that point on that I decided to do the job to upgrade my wiring so I can keep my existing washer and dryer. It turns out his work is as good as his integrity. Very please with what he did, and I'm very happy I did so since the washer dryer were bought as a house warming gift from my parents, which means I wasn't comfortable just going out and buying new ones. We called All Electrical after my husband got a nasty jolt of electricity trying to determine why a dome light he had installed in our bedroom got really hot and blew out our power. He found that several of the wires in the ceiling were burned and melted. Yikes! I was braced for a killer repair bill from a professional electrician, but at least my husband didn't kill himself ;) After reading reviews and being told by another company that I would have to wait two days for an appointment (with live wires hanging out of my ceiling), I reached Steve. What a God send. He came that day and fixed everything perfectly. He even checked all our smoke detectors and informed me that the hard wired one in our bedroom was not even connected and had no battery in it. Yikes! He explained what types I needed to get and where to put them. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. When he told me what he was going to charge me I had to ask him twice. I was sure I had misheard him. Less than $100 bucks, people, ok?!? He must be independently wealthy and do it for the love of the work or something. What a gem. So rare these days to not be taken to the cleaners when you are in desperately in need of some type of service. I can't wait to refer him to friends. Read no further...call Steve. read more

Steve is amazing. If your like me and not sure of whom to use as an electrician trust me Steve and his company will make you very happy. I discovered my breaker was out and some of the big companies told me I needed to replace the panel and some rewiring at a very large cost. I didn't feel they were trustworthy and just a big company out to make a buck. I called Steve and not only was he prompt in returning my call but he did everything he said he would and was not only on time but early. When he looked at the breaker he determined there was a short and after a few minutes of detective work he realized my handyman who installed an outdoor plug in my shed area did not do it properly and even taped the pipe causing it to burn out. He fixed the problem quite easily and for a reasonable fee. Take that back a very reasonable fee :). He cleaned up after himself and was highly professional and just a real nice guy. So trustworthy. He could have told me anything as I have no clue about electrical stuff. However he was honest and fixed the issue. This was unlike what I was told by a few larger electrical companies in the LA area. They told me I needed a new panel which Steve said there is nothing wrong with your panel at all. First of all, Steve and I emailed about appointment times, which seems like not such a big deal but is super convenient to be able to email when I can't always answer my phone. Robert handled our issue and was great. Steve Gold is the best electrician I've found in Los Angeles. We have lived in two multi-unit buildings, served on the HOA of one, and I wish we had known about All Electrical Solutions back then. I wanted an owner/operator, licensed, professional, clean, courteous electrician who wouldn't try to oversell me and also took pride in a job well done. That's Steve! I usually handle all the house repairs since its easier for me to take time off work than my husband, and I'm always fighting the battle of the male contractor versus the 'lady of the house' talking-down drama, but Steve treated me with nothing but respect. I've managed multiple renovations, both small and large scale, so I know a few things but I still ask questions so I'm clear about what's going on with the job, no matter how small. Steve is a great communicator and does excellent work. We moved into a 1926 house with old two prong outlets. He replaced every outlet fairly quickly, without leaving a mess behind him. Before he removed even one outlet cover he said, "I'll do my best not to chip this paint but just in case, do you have extra paint for touch ups?" I knew he cared about the work he was doing and he didn't chip a thing. I also did not feel the need to watch over him which was a giant stress relief, he always let me know what he was doing/was going to do before he did it - and that was so very appreciated. He also inspected the electrical panel and any visible wiring. I had a few concerns about some old damage (a burned garage door opener, random wires hanging loose, an old electrical panel, a timer with wild wires, etc) and he inspected every one, explained what they were/had been used for, and made sure nothing was live/dangerous. He even labeled the new electrical panel outside that had been left blank by the previous electrician, informed me which outlets were on which circuit, and that it would most likely trip the breaker if I ran a vacuum and a hair dryer at once (I have yet to perfect that multi-tasking trick). He was well-spoken, educated, polite, professional in demeanor and appearance, and overall awesome. He even emails, which is great because I don't always have time to take a phone call at work, and I was able to send photos of the outlets needing to be replaced (he brought the new outlet covers and I paid for the supplies). I highly recommend his services and would hire him again. Even though mine was a relatively small job, I felt like a number one customer. read more

Spent about an hour "troubleshooting" and obsessing about how many amps the freezer would pull, and charged me $165. Told me I'd get a quote later in day which I did not. Had to call next day to get it. Ends up he didn't need to know the info about how many amps it would pull. Didn't give me receipt. Expensive quote. Do not recommend. read more
