I make the drive from St Pete to Orlando because this is the only place I completely trust with my dogs. In July of 2024 I decided to make the training investement with both. I knew the mad skills and talents that Lexi & Tai have with dogs and both of mine needed the professional assistance. I enrolled them both together. Archie, is an incredibly stubborn 6 year old husky and Pongo is my overly excited, talking 10 month old Husky. They blend well together but they are not everyone's cup of tea! I trusted these two and their team and they did wonders with compassion, patience and professionalism! My dogs are the core of my world, so as most dog owners I worry how others treat my dogs when away. Lexi would touch in almost everyday, she communicated reports with honesty on progress & she let me know when a post of their training was hitting the social so I could feel better being apart. Recently, when I had to evacuate from St Pete during both of these recent hurricanes to Orlando, the team took them right in and explained to me the precautions and procedures they would be taking with them. This team even stayed overnight during the storms! Talk about going the extra mile. Lexi is amazing at communication and I still ask her questions about training because it's an everyday practice here with my two! Tai radiates love when he talks to the dogs. The staff is very professional, clean, organized and educates you on the different packages/pricing & knows your dog! Also they take great photography of the dogs! (photo of the work added!) Bottom line, if you found this facility and you If you love your dog(s) you struck gold!! I have been bringing them since they opened their doors and I will be loyal to this team forever. Note: my dogs could attend our wedding BECAUSE of Lexi and Tai's training with them.

Really love this place!…read more Our girls were quite comfortable during their stay over the 4th of July weekend. The staff were extra attentive to those dogs that were afraid if fireworks like mine. This was much appreciated The ability to check in in on my girls while we were gone was perfect. I enjoyed watching them swim and interact in the yard with the other dogs during the several scheduled outings for the day! The staff was very interested in my dogs and their well being. This is a great place. I've used them in the past and will continue to use them in the future!

Two times I've come here to pick up my dog and they've charged me for an extra night stay for my…read moredog because I didn't make it there by 6pm. Once was 6:15 and once was 6:40. Both times were related to cross country flight delays by the airline. They have no compassion that you just flew 6 hours and the airline made you sit on the tarmac for 45 minutes due to lightning, nope they need that $50 for going 1 minute over their 6pm window because "it's policy." I understood the intent of policies but employees should be empowered to grant waivers due to events beyond your control. It's not like someone had to wait there for me to arrive, they are staffed until like 10pm, they just wanted to nickel and dime me for that last $50 because the other $450 I gave them apparently wasn't enough. Last time my dog came back with an eye infection as well. I won't be going back.

We are in love with Rocky's Retreat!…read more We dropped off our girl Margot for the week while we went on a cruise. We were bit worried about being able to have access to updates but the team was able to send via email so we were never out of the loop! This was our first time boarding Margot and we were concerned about how anxious she might get. She was adopted from a hoarding situation and is still getting used to the world. I shouldn't have even bothered to worry because the team went above and beyond to work at her pace and make sure she felt comfortable. We received daily updates of how she was doing and even saw her make new friends. When we picked her up she didn't even seem like she wanted to go--in fact when we took her outside later and home she tried to run back to the car (we think she's ready for another week of puppy camp as we call it). Another thing we love about Rocky's is they are inclusive of dogs with additional needs. It's hard to find places that truly care for your pets like you do, and safe to say we lucked out with this one. Can't wait for the next time!
