We first contacted Total Home Solutions to find out why our A/C wasn't properly cooling the house,…read morethey came out that afternoon and fixed the issue. The cost was very reasonable and didn't feel like they were overcharging for their services. This week with the cold snap in MN our furnace was having issues with keeping the house warm. Called Troy at Total Home and he had Kevin come out that afternoon. The Condensate pump went out and tubes were plugged. Kevin had it fixed in a couple of hours, the pressure switches also had gotten wet and needed to be replace. Which if we didn't have the best furnace these may have been cheaper but with the pump and switches the price that they billed us was still very reasonable. I know that when we have our A/C unit replaced that I will be calling them to provide the services. They are awesome, come out when called, the work is always good and Kevin is great!

Every now and then, you're lucky enough to find this one contractor who goes beyond what to expect…read morefrom a great contractor. Total Home Solutions is that contractor. I needed a new furnace and got a number of great quotes. I went with the contractor who made me feel the most confident and that was Total Home Solutions. Troy answered all my questions thoroughly and then some. He also gave me some terrific price options and was able to schedule me in quickly. Troy and his crew arrived on time, and installed my new furnace, in a rather tight area, in no time and left my furnace area spotless. I can't thank Total Home Solutions enough, or rate them high enough.

My AC stopped…read moreworking, and after texting multiple HVAC repair companies, Mario was the first to respond, which I appreciated. I mentioned that we didn't need an emergency visit and he fit me in his schedule for the next morning, quoting $175 for the service call. After diagnosing an electrical short in the contactor, he left to pick up a replacement part, and finished the job that same day. At no point, before or during the repair, was I given a total cost estimate outside of the initial $175 or a chance to approve the total job amount prior to completion. It was shocking, then, that the final invoice came out to $800: a $175 diagnostic fee, two hours of labor at $175/hour, and a $275 charge for a part (contactor) that retails for $50 or less. In addition, I wasn't given an invoice upon completion of the job, but rather I had to ask for it twice afterward. If any part of this review gives you pause, I'd consider taking your business elsewhere.
