Doug = door whisperer. Highly recommend!…read more My front double doors were a pain to close -- turns out the shoes on the bottom were worn out and letting in air and sand. The French doors to the patio were worse: misaligned, hard to close, hard to lock, sand and air coming in everywhere. Doug ended up pulling them off completely to reset the hinges. The process was smooth start to finish. Detailed written estimate, update when he went for parts, then a scheduled appointment. He showed up on time, worked fast, and left zero mess behind. Now everything opens, closes, and locks like it should -- no more sun or sand sneaking in! What really got me though was the vibe. Doug and his helper Brian make a great team -- polite, easygoing, clearly know what they're doing. 10/10, would call again.

Doug was extremely communicative, on time, and nice for the whole process. He also provided a very fair price. He even followed up a week later to ensure everything was good with the doors and we were satisfied. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs door repairs done by someone who knows what they're doing!

Bruce came in asked me what I wanted to do and got busy measuring my windows. Bruce is a straight shooter. Without him, I might have chosen a different company. The other companies were pitching installing all of the windows with one series or the another series. Bruce let me know that my needs were a combination of the two series. He was correct. The installers did a great job as well. Leaving no mess and no stucco damage. Shout-out to Jesus, who made sure all the final details were perfect. In addition, L&L's price was slightly lower than some and significantly lower than others. If you're in a hurry it's important to know that they have a longer lead time because their installers are their employees. This helps to guarantee you are getting a installation. In my opinion, waiting was well worth it.

L&L offered a significant discount based on the number of owners who signed up. In just 2 days, Aaron and Jesus (L&L's installers) removed and replaced our 40 year old windows and installed new Millguard double pained insulated replacements. Everything was done with ease by these skilled, friendly, and knowledgeable craftsmen. I can't say enough about the care and humor they shared with us. The difference is unbelievable. Our units are much quieter, and we are expecting an additional bonus when we get our next electric bill!

Lawrence was able to do a consult by phone using texted photos and was almost to the inch with his estimations looking at the space. When arriving for the in-person consult, we were able to discuss options that met our needs. Cabinets were completed and installed in about six weeks which also included drywall, painting, electrical and plumbing updates (performed by other contractors) which was impressively efficient. The quality of the cabinets is excellent, and I was particularly happy with the attention to detail. They were very thorough in the finishing work, ensuring every alignment and edge met a high standard. The original contractor's cabinet subcontractor not only failed to complete the job, but the 21 cabinet drawers were measured incorrectly, making them unusable. After spending thousands of dollars, I was left with cabinets that had to be rebuilt. Fortunately, I found Lawrence at Custom Cabinetry, and it was the best move I could have made. Lawrence quickly assessed the problems, explained exactly what needed to be corrected, and completely remade seven cabinet boxes and all of the drawers with exceptional craftsmanship. Unlike the original drawers, which were made from melamine, Lawrence built beautiful, solid wood drawers that are far superior in quality, strength, and appearance. The fit and finish are impeccable, and everything now functions exactly as it should. Lawrence's professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right gave me tremendous peace of mind during a very stressful insurance restoration project. If you are looking for custom cabinetry done with integrity, precision, and true craftsmanship, I highly recommend Custom Cabinetry. This is a review for ONLY my first impression phone call with Mike Goldman (owner) that I had…read moretoday; I will update if we decide to move forward with his company. I sent a written request for a quote through Yelp to several general contractors for a lot of work we will be doing on a new home in PS. His assistant proactively called me and connected me to Mike on the phone, so I did not have to reach out myself. Most other companies wrote back, "Yeah, I can do the work. Call me." eh. Nothing really wrong with that, but if I wanted to call, I would have and if you want the business...make it happen. I respect that they reached out to me, making it easier on me. What I appreciated from today's call is: *his VERY down to earth demeanor; I could see getting along with Mike very easily. *Mike took close to thirty minutes of his time to talk me through his style, and giving me specific ideas he would suggest for the remodel just based off the pictures from the property listing I sent. Awesome and appreciated. This gives me a chance to see how his mind works and if we would be a good match for such a large job. This got his foot in the door and made me decide to get a rough quote from him, which I am only doing with three total companies. *He stressed two things that he specifically addresses which are a notorious problem in this industry - (1) he is value conscious, suggesting alternatives to what you want to do so YOU can choose what you want to spend and where you may want to save....AND (2) he stays to the budget you give him probably more than his customers do. These are invaluable things to consider as he is promising to be done when says he will and on budget. HUGE. His work has been on TV shows and has many jobs being done simultaneously - all due to word of mouth, no real advertising. Other thing to note is he doesn't do pools, but will refer you to a few people that are good that he has worked with before. I am getting three total quotes, including from Mike, and ...so far, I am impressed.
