Sammy is passionate about meeting requirements and completed a fantastic fence within the quoted value In addition, Sammy's gate suppliers custom made 3 wonderful ( 2 rolling and a walk gate) that matched existing gates - also fantastic quality We are so pleased with the Sunset Masonary end to end products and services

I hired Sunset Masonry for a masonry project that involved coordination between three neighboring…read moreproperties. While the masonry work was completed, communication and project management were significant issues. On multiple occasions, the project manager initiated phone calls by immediately yelling. These calls included repeated references to cost concerns on other parts of the project which were unrelated to my scope of work. My portion of the project was limited to cutting an opening in an existing block wall and adding two columns for a gate I had already purchased. When the gate installer (one they frequently recommend) came to install the gate, he notified me that the hole was too large for my gate and there would be a noticeable gap. When I contacted the project manager to flag the issue, the response was another phone call in which I was yelled at. While the final result is functional and the gap issue was eventually resolved by adding a piece of metal, due to the communication style, lack of professional conduct, and quality control issues, I would not recommend this company, especially for larger projects or projects requiring coordination.

CHAD: We arranged for a free consult and Chad who was enthusiastic about his career choice, loved the company he was working for, and made us feel like we had found the right company to go with. He came up with a perfect design, and added to what we asked for to make it look 10x better than what I thought it could. GEORGE: The ball immediately got rolling and we met with George, who would be our project manager. Personable, professional, communicative and detail oriented when it came to managing the crew and checking on the quality of the work they did. ALEX: Alex was the lead of a four man crew that came and conquered our side yard. Easy to speak with, and very approachable. They went above and beyond to make it perfect, moving rock from back to front yard to redistribute into areas that needed it, making an attractive pattern with the pavers, and directing his crew well. From meeting a sales rep, to project completion (including me having to obtain HOA approval) the took only 3.5 weeks! Very happy, also knowing that this comes with a warranty! Definitely recommend System Pavers

It was a very small project My project was only about 345 sq. ft., and I was quoted around $10,000 before tax, which felt extremely high for the size. The representative also showed some unprofessionalism. They came twice to my home the first time to make measurements and then an hour later he came back. He asked to come inside my home, stayed for more than 45 minutes even though I indicating I would not be making a decision on the spot. He continued pushing for a $1,000 deposit right then and there. I asked for at least 24 hours to think about it, but he kept stalling instead of respecting my time. I eventually had to ask him to leave. Overall, not the experience I expected, and I wouldn't recommend this company based on how my consultation went. The high pressure sales tactic and the unprofessionalism made me not want to buy from them.

He arrived on time and he sent me a price within a couple of days. I know he's busy which tends to happen when you do good work so I told him, quote approved, let's make it happen! That next Saturday his guys did demo, gate door fix (our last landscaper did a shoddy job that Albert fixed for me), dirt and rock haul off, grading. Then couple days later, Monday his crews poured our driveway extension. Beautiful joint layout and great work. I paid 50% on day 1 and 50% after his guys finished. Professional level work too.

We did have an appointment set for a consultation at noon and at 12:40 ish I called him as no one showed up. He tired to reschedule for later that day at 3/4pm but that didn't work for me so he said ended up coming out within the hour. He also told me he wasn't licensed which is a huge liability for the home owner. We are doing an entire backyard Reno with a decent budget so it wasn't that our job wasn't worth while. Updated: i'm genuinely sorry for the loss of your family member! I would hope though that communication would still remain open as a simple text message to update me would have taken less than a minute and much faster than the time you took to respond on here. - i'm not mad at all so I'm not sure why you put that in your response but when I was searching for other contractors, yelp, put your company right in front of me and asked me to review it. It wasn't something that I sought out. So I left an honest review of my experience. I completely agree with other contractors being licensed and having horrible reviews. Your reviews looked great, which is why I called you in the first place. Great craftsmanship/ reviews or not, a homeowner is still liable if someone on the job gets injured and that could have potential to ruin someone's life in a lawsuit. It Has nothing to do with the quality of work but just liability in general. The only thing that was questionable is how long you've been in business and are just now getting your license. That didn't really add up to me, but I wish you guys the best truly and sorry again for your loss

One of the best compliments to a business is being a repeat customer. Writing a nice Yelp review…read moremight be a close second. Back in 2017, we had the Greenheart team come out and help us dream up a concept for a cozy backyard. Fast forward six years later, we're still so happy with the way it turned out. We've moved away since, but we kept the house and now serve as landlords. The intentionally low-maintenance backyard has kept its promise. The original yard was a clean slate covered with dirt and weeds. Our initial idea was to install a square piece of turf and surround it with flat pavers. Mike encouraged us to think bigger. He suggested adding curves and mounds to the landscape to give it character and personality. We decided to see his design concept, and once we saw it, we were blown away by how he transformed our ideas. The final result was a more rounded piece of turf with pavers sprawling into a rock-covered area. Thoughtfully planted trees and bushes grow into the space and attract hummingbirds. The recommendation for "pet paradise" turf was a great touch - it's been easy to keep clean and sanitary. While we didn't have pets going outside, plenty of toddlers put it to the test. Our new tenants have dogs, and the backyard seems to suit them well too. Now, having been in our new house for a few years, we're not satisfied with the current backyard layout. We brought Mike out again to dream with us!

Continuing with the water issues our lot has, we dug out a dry well in the back. With their vision, we turned it into a bocce court/fire pit by adding steps down and finishing the look with a small stucco wall surround. They also added steps and an enclosure to our free standing hot tub. The lighting and plants took it next level. The crew Irene had is the hardest working I've been around. The design feedback is perfect. Price is competitive. I will be using them again and again.
