This review is not about the product .But the customer service I have received from this business. I purchased security gate and a side gate. I have repeatedly called and no one has called mer back.The issue i have been trying to resolve is my side gate of which is too high.I have spoken to the owner and still no results .I just want it lowered or a metal guard that matches the gate to be attached to the bottom of the gate .I don't care what it cost because money is not an issue. But ignoring me after I spent $3,500 with this company for them to ignore me .Tired of calling and emails .I just want this resolved so I can remove the paver bricks from in front of my side gate so the the rabbits cannot come into my backyard and to stop them from eating my plants. first of all they have no idea what they are doing. they installed a gate based on an old proposal. It was wrong. then when they fixed it it looked like some HS students welded it and used apoxy on it. gaps in the screens. Etc. when they came out to fix it it looked bad. the woner came out and said its ok. Whatever. I needed a gate. It was a nightmare. Do not use them. i would put pictures up but then they will know its me. So ^%^& that. do not use them. they suck completely and do not care. I would give them 0 stars but it will not let me. My one star is not for the quality of the security gate. The quality is exceptional and the people who installed it were skilled and professional. My one star is for the lousy customer service after the install. The cactus on my door was make twice the size of my drawing and impedes the view out the door and also at a quick glance looks like someone standing in the door. We would be more than happy to do that for you but there would be 2 trip fees of $145 to pick up the door and drop it off again. There would also be a charge of $250 for the shop time we need to cut off the cactus and repowder coat the door. You can avoid the trip fees if you want to drop the door off. I paid $878 for this security door and they want me to pay another $540 to fix their mistake in not following my design. All other correspondence proved fruitless. We requested an estimate for some residential ironwork. The estimator was very friendly and personable. We explained to him while he was at the home that before we could proceed that we would require approval from HOA at 2 levels, local community and main office. We wanted to get approval before making a deposit, fully understanding that this would slow down the timing of the actual work completion. Within a couple of days, we got an estimate by email, and a request for deposit if we wished to proceed. We replied by email stating what we told the estimator, and that as the first part of the normal process, the HOA requires that homeowner and contractor both sign an indemnity agreement. We signed it and then emailed it to AC Iron for signature, but we never heard back. After a few days, I called and explained to office staff again that I didn't want to put down a "non-refundable" deposit for work that may or may NOT be approved by HOA, and that we would appreciate if they would work with us on the HOA approval process first. The office staff indicated that the owner would call us. That simply never happened. I sent 2 more emails, to which I received no replies. Time to move on and explore other companies. read more

Do not use this company! All Custom Iron is unprofessional, lacks the skill to complete a simple gate project, is rude to the customer, ignores instructions that are explicitly given in writing and in person, does what they want on your property, and won't accept responsibility for errors in workmanship. All Custom Iron has had four attempts to fabricate a custom gate and each time is an epic fail! I had to open a case with the Nevada State Contractors Board and when the owner came to my property for the State inspection I was threatened with a lien on my property and told that I was being disrespectful for giving the following factual information. An estimator with All Custom Iron came to my property on March 31, 2021, to take measurements and provide me with a quote for installation of a security gate. On April 14, 2021, I accepted a bid with All Custom Iron to install a single security gate with solid backing, to be placed between a block perimeter wall on the property line and the south end of the home structure. I gave a 50 percent deposit for said product and services, in the amount of $1,162.50. Installation was scheduled for June 4, 2021. The installer/owner (John) knew the panels were not fabricated correctly. I heard him grinding something for a very long time so I went outside and asked what he was doing. He said one of the footplates had to be ground down to fit. When he was finished with the installation he came to my front door and asked me to sign off on the work. I refused until I inspected the work. Upon inspection, I pointed out that a "security" gate is not something that an individual can walk up to, reach around the gate panel and unlock the deadbolt; this defeats the purpose of having a locking and secure gate! The installer/owner then said "you can just get a double deadbolt". I expressed how unhappy I was with this work. Not only is the gate not secure but it also puts me in a serious liability situation where someone could potentially try to open my gate and then if my dog bites that person, I can be sued for damages and possibly lose my family pet. Additionally, I expressed that I am not going to accept a double deadbolt that I have to carry a key around every time I want to pull the trash cans to the curb. The estimator came back to my property on June 11, 2021. He stated that the final product was not what he envisioned and that it would be corrected, and in the meantime I could continue to utilize the gate as it was installed. It was during this time that I specifically requested that the new fixed panels be fabricated large enough to hide any holes in the concrete and block. The estimator's response to me was "that won't be necessary because the bolts are in your concrete permanently and we will use the same bolts so there won't be anything to hide". Second Attempt: only one new panel was brought out and it was too short and didn't reach the house. The owner (John) would have to take the panel back to their shop and refabricate. Third Attempt: only one new panel was brought out and it did not have a stop plate welded on so the gate would just swing open without stopping. The owner (John) would have to take the panel back to their shop and weld on a stop plate. Fourth Attempt: only one new panel was brought and once again it was too short to reach the house so John ground down the old bolts in the concreate and put new bolts off center so the panel would be able to bolt to the home. This panel is not level with the gate, plates that should sit flush with the home are bent, lag bolts are put in sideways, and the panel sits off center so the panels are closer at the top of the gate than the bottom. And within weeks the gate panels are already rusting! I have had to take off multiple days from work, repair the holes in my home myself, and meanwhile Naomi at their office continues to try to collect final payment from me on a job that is not complete to my satisfaction. On the date of my home inspection with the Nevada State Contractors Board the Installer/Owner (John), did not show up. Instead his partner, Chris, who I have never met before shows up, demands payment, and then threatens me with a lien on my home!! He then says that he is not willing to work with me on repairs because I am disrespecting him! This is now getting so ridiculous that it's comical. I told Chris that I am not paying for poor, substandard work and especially not until after he has corrected all the damages made to my home and discounted the project. This company is so unprofessional! Their mannerism and workmanship makes me think of two high school buddies who learned some basic welding skills in shop class and decide to start up a "custom" iron works business. Lesson for all of you that have read this far.....do more research than I did, do not hire this company, and never sign off on a project until you have inspected the work and it is to your satisfaction read more

I hired this company to build me a custom security gate for my entryway, overall the customer service was excellent, you may not always be able to reach the owner by phone because of business needs he's not always there but I was able to reach the office secretary every time I called. The price was competitive and I was quoted 4 to 6 weeks between fabrication completion and install. The Quality of the finished product was above and beyond my expectations and the installation crew was as punctual as I've ever had anyone do work in my house ever. In and out in an hours time, overall very satisfied and would definitely recommended. We hired All Custom for a large project in 2014 that ended up with the company being cited with 7 orders to correct from the Nevada Contractors Board. Chris with All Custom did not comply to the ten days given to rebuild the job and the mess resulted in a court case. After several years in the court process the case was finally heard and the judge ruled in our favor. Our expert described the work as "High School quality welding" and the judge described the project as "Shoddy Workmanship" The project was quoted as 3 to 4 weeks for completion (in writing), and took 4 months for installation to begin. All Custom was so unprofessional, that they did not even pull the required permits or do any of the necessary building process steps through the city. The judge agreed with us that the iron was not powder coated as we had paid for. In fact, it rusted within days after the first rain. Sadly, All Custom uses photos of my home on their website and advertising. Nothing was built to the written specs and the fencing and gates were a full 6 inches too short making them not legal for a swimming pool. The Expert report also indicated that the size of the iron was insufficient and was over 1 inch too small for the driveway entry gates. Clearly Chris had no idea of even the proper size of metal that should've been used to make the gates. Please do your homework and confirmed that the photos that they show you of produce they have completed or actually their work. After being shown a portfolio of work that Chris claimed her job so you done our investigation showed us that none of that work in his portfolio his company had actually made. We found this company and to be nothing but untruthful, refusing to comply with the Nevada contractors board, and her case was one in the court of law. I will attach photos of the project to show the quality of work. as . This case went to court and the judge ruled in my favor calling the craftsmanship "shoddy". Update: sadly I keep finding photos of my house in their advertising. If course you can't see the shameful quality; bad welds, plastic end caps and rusted "powder coating" that the Judge agreed didn't happen. They were given the opportunity to produce The receipts of my powder coat work, and they try to bring in receipts from another job that the judge caught onto the scam attempt. REMOVE my home photos from your brochures and ads that you are using to con people or we will go to court again Chris. read more

After not hearing anything from the company, my husband called the office to see what happened. He was told that the estimator had left for the day. What really chapped us was that they offered another appointment for a WEEK out. Please BEWARE. Terrible experience and horrible workmanship. Nevada Contractors Board complaint made, multiple citations given to All Custom Iron. They did not comply with violation citations and orders to correct. They brag that they don't use plastic end caps and my project was all plastic end caps along with welding that was amateur at best. Total nightmare and wasted money for junk. Honestly, Home Depo gates and fencing is better quality. read more

My wife and I met Chris at a Home Show at the Cashman center about 2 years ago as we were interested in a security door for the front of our house. We had been shopping around at Lowes and Home Depot and were not very satisfied with their standard doors, and to have the strongest ones they offered were going to be about $2,000.00. Chris came out to measure the door and came in with a price of just over 50% of Lowes and Home Depot for a far superior door. All Iron's bolts are on the inside of the door so no one can unbolt the door, unlike the Lowes and Home Depot'd doors which unbolt form the outside. We custom designed the door the way we wanted, it cam out beuatiful on time and the installers came and did a great job. We were so satisfied with the work, we bought another door for the back of our house and recommended them to our neighbors and my sister-in-law who ordered 3 double and 1 single door and window protection from them. Update to original review Contractors board has issued four correction notices two pertaining to work without permit two for poor workmanship. Contractor has 20 days to correct the problem. 10 days in no response from the contractor. Maybe some day All Custom iron will finally finished the job and corrected deficiencies. I selected 1 Star because there was no option for zero stars. So it's a long and drawn out story but I'll try to keep it concise. So I hired these guys to do my patio cover last year (March). So they do it, I pay in full, it looks great but of course Vegas hardly rains so I didn't notice that it leaks til December. After being gone for a month I get back into town and decide to call All Custom Iron in February about this leak. I get the run arounds for 7 weeks, talkin' bout we can't find your invoice or any records that we did that job. I retrieve the permit info from Clark county records showing their license number (irrefutable information that they did the job) and Chris (the owner) tells me that the best he can do is send someone out to my house IF THEY HAVE A JOB ON MY SIDE OF TOWN, but if the patio needs any repair that it would have to come out of my pocket because in his words "on the back of my contract it states that I give a 1 year warranty". By the time I got to even speak to Chris it was April (my 1st call to them was in February) and my picture proof of leak is marked December. But Chris still insist he'd rather bully his customer instead of owning up to a leaky structure that HIS company built. I'm so tired of these companies that only want to be nice to you until the job is done then never want to be bothered about things that THEY did that was shoddy in the first place. As a customer all I did was pay for the job, I did not make the patio leak yet he bullied me around as if he were talking to a kid. As Im writing this review it's a day pass my appointment that they finally scheduled only for the repair guy to say that there's nothing they can do about the leak. It is raining and leaking down my screen door. I'm so sick and tired of dealing with shitty people like Chris that all I can hope for is that the future of his business treats him like he treats his customers. Total and complete scrub that's all I can say about Chris. Shame on him for treating his customers with such disrespect. We had a large 8 ft security door installed, which costs a lot more...These guys beat all the other estimates! It was designed to our color choices and looks great. There was a little bit of a delay in construction of it but the office staff was very professional and communicated with me frequently. I called All Custom Iron to give me a quote for a decorative fence with gate for my front yard and also a dog run with a lid as there are coyotes in the area.
