Steve Malin Review update: I did not mention in my initial…read morereview that I rarely write reviews unless the service or services are exceptional which I feel was well conveyed in my comments about Butte Roofing. As a follow up I wanted to once again thank Butte Roofing Co. for its great service. Shortly after the storm I was visited by Butte Roofing Co. for an in depth review of my roof, supplied with a written quote and once the company was able to schedule a time I was visited by Butte Roofing Co. for the necessary repairs. Technicians were great, professional and courteous. Both Dylan and Bailey went right to work and made all the necessary repairs. Both Dylan and Bailey were great, they were careful with my gutter system and once the job was complete the area was completely clean, no mess or debris left which normally I'm stuck cleaning up after a subcontractor. I will say again if you need any work on your roof don't move forward until you have spoken with this company. I'm certainly glad I did and know you will as well. Thank you Butte Roofing Co.. Great Job, great people.

They came out and did a great job; so when a tree fell onto our house during a storm in October, Baird was the first call I made. Our neighbor covered the hole in the roof the best he could with a tarp he had, but rain was still leaking into the house. I called Priscilla at Baird for help and Eric (one of their crew) came out in the rain and covered the roof with a larger tarp, saving us from further damage inside the house. When the rains stopped, Wayne was terrific in getting us scheduled right away for the repair work and roof replacement even though half of his crew was out sick. Our roof sustained substantial structural damage from the tree and the Baird guys were terrific in rebuilding and reroofing. It took a couple of days, but at the end of each day they were meticulous in cleaning up any debris around the house. Thank you Priscilla, Wayne, Eric and the rest of the crew for a job well done! They tore down, repaired dry rot, installed pipe jacks, and placed the shingles precisely. And they cleaned up every speck of debris. The roof is beautiful. The color matches our main house exactly, even though that roof was done by a different company. Baird's crews are hardworking, conscientious, and good at what they do. Baird works with a company that comes in with a heavy-duty forklift to haul materials to the workers. Julio also called me to go over the estimate and answer any questions I might have. I told him I would get back to him as I was waiting on other estimates. I received 4 estimates from different contractors in the area. Affordable J. C. Roofing was the most comprehensive and the lowest price. I weighed all the reviews because some were not very good for any of the contractors and decided to go with Affordable and Julio. I have to admit getting started was a little slow. Affordable J. C. Roofing is not a huge business, Julio does all the office paper work, contacting, and scheduling and permit work. Summer plus the fire has made the work load very hectic. I noticed that with all the companies I contacted. One estimate took a 1 1/2 months to get. I did have to keep calling for a start date but once the work began and the work crews showed up at my house I was very impressed. The removal crew had the roof stripped in no time at all and everything was cleaned up and ready for material and install by the end of the day. The new 30 year roof was installed with every detail that was described in the estimate by the end of the week. Such a beautiful job. I had my final inspection permit 2 days later. Flashing 5 existing skylights and installing 2 new skylights was also part of the project. I couldn't be happier. A few extra phone calls was well worth the effort and savings.

Our old roof was composite tile, apparently the tiles were put too close together so that water drainage was an issue, and we had moss.. which isn't good. Chico Roofing came to our rescue. They were fair in pricing, and the crew that did our roof (Jesse was the foreman) were very respectful, polite, considerate , and clean/neat. At the end of each day everything was cleaned up, and nothing left behind. We had some areas that were in bad shape, and Jesse and his crew took care of everything. We no longer need to be concerned. Our roof is beautiful, and honestly (in my opinion) the nicest roof on our street. I walk every day, and I tend to check out roofs now, and I am so pleased with the results. This company was easy to talk with, they answered all of our questions before, during, and after installation. I would highly recommend Chico Roofing if you are in the market for a new roof replacement. Colin and Susie Boggs

It required a double tear-off (metal roof on top of wood shake), as well as all new plywood and multiple carpentry repairs. We were super impressed with how friendly and professional all the guys were. They showed up early in the morning and hit the ground running every day. They even went above and beyond with our old dog, and were very sweet with her and conscientious of her whereabouts when doing the tear offs and making sure the gate was always closed.
