I called several AC companies and none got back to me…read more These folks got back to me within the same day, and sent someone to inspect the attic within 24 hours. They told me the inspector would be there between 9AM - 12PM. He was there at 9:01AM. He let me know that my ducts were BUSTED. Like really bad. Gaps everywhere, broken stuff. The "Miami special" he called it. Showed me videos of all the issues to verify what he was saying. Although at first I thought the quote they gave me was a bit on the higher end, after I saw everything they did I've changed my mind and think the quote was honestly very fair. They replaced all the ducts in my attic, hung them (they were lying on the floor before...), replaced all the vents, covered my entire house in plastic, added an air return to a bedroom, picked up all the debris when they were done, and did all that in just like 3-4 hours. Honestly these folks are incredible. Shoutout to Amit. Such a friendly and funny guy. He took the time to explain to me all the issues he was seeing and why they mattered. He was the first one in a line of guys to finally explain that the master bedroom was so hot (5+ degrees hotter than rest of the house) because it didn't have a return. Once they installed that it feels like I have a new house. I've never slept better.

Had the repair guy out here within 90 minutes of calling them, and they sent all the necessary paperwork to my condo association right away, and the guy was super-patient when the association was dragging its feet sending out the handyman to open the hatch to get to the AC unit on the roof. Front desk lady was awesome as well, super-responsive and detailed and prompt. Replaced condenser capacitor on first visit (reviewed above), worked for a while, stopped again in middle of night, fan motor also needed replaced... contacted them at 7:00 AM, they were here by 9:30 AM, done by 11:00 AM, I had suspected one or both (capacitor was identified last year as needing to be replaced within the next year, and I had problems with motor a few times with the last year... fan stuck, bump it and it starts again... clear sign it was wearing out after 6 years, in S. Florida and upstairs unit that works hardest in most homes). In both cases, B&M response was fast (best I've ever experienced with big or small AC companies), showed up when they said they would, and price was reasonable (I am a large facility manager so understand parts, labor, overhead, etc), workmanship was excellent. He got back to me right away and by 10:30 am the next day, my tenant was back in cool air and I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg, wins all the way around! Cajun Bear gets it done, and done well and doesn't spend time trying to sell you things that you don't need (which I appreciate given HVAC issues are not my forte!!)
