After learning from my mechanic that my dodge had a cracked PCM unit and it would cost $900 to fix, I started to look around. I found all computer resources from a quick google search and it was very reasonable for my part ($256). I called to confirm which part I needed to order my truck model/year and the person I spoke with, after being on hold for 15 minutes , was very rude, short, and gave a condescending response to my questions, not helpful at all. My truck was not driveable and I needed it fixed ASAP. I ordered the part with two day express shipping mid-week which costed $25, expecting to get my truck up and running over the weekend (5 days away). The weekend came and I still had not received even a tracking number. I called first thing on Monday and I was told, very unsympathetically, it was still being processed and it SHOULD be shipped out the next day or so. Thursday came and I still did not receive a shipping number. I called again and was greeted, again, by someone very rude on the phone who was too busy to talk to me so he transferred me to someone else. I explained that I ordered two day shipping because I needed my vehicle for work and had to burden my family and borrow a vehicle for the past week. All I was told is that they had "some problems" with my order. They did not explain in any detail why it had taken over a week for them to ship it when I specifically requested 2 day shipping and I was not notified of any problems. There was no sense of urgency with my order and the woman I spoke with said it would be shipped out the following Tuesday at the latest (5 days later + shipping days) and would not guarantee its shipping date to me when I asked. So they were okay with having me wait potentially 14 days for a part that should have taken 4 at the most. During this conversation I had to request expedited shipping and request a refund on my shipping cost before it was offered. Luckily, the unit was shipped out the following day but the tracking number did not provide any details for me. Now I am praying that the part I receive (when/if I receive it) is the correct part because of the hassle it has been to get it. 10 days for a critical component in your vechicle to ship is not acceptable--especially when requesting expedited shipping. If the units take this long to process and/or program, it should be stated on their website so the customer is not anxiously waiting and having to contact them constantly and should be updated if they run into any delays. I was very frustrated and disappointed with the customer service from all computer reqources, specifically, the lack of urgency, empathy, and communication. ***Update: I finally received my pcm after 2 weeks of waiting. I plugged it in, started my truck, and my truck would hardly stay running and did not sound right. I tried multiple different tricks to try to get it to work and it still wasn't running. The unit I received had a large amount of grey powder INSIDE of the unit that I had to blow out with an air compressor. I was told that this was from the sand blasting and "should not have been sent that way"...not sure how you overlook this much sand that is literally pouring out of the unit and was all over the shipping bag. I spoke with them last week (9/8) and they said they would program another one and over night it ASAP. 6 days later, I still hadn't received my package or a shipping notification even though I was told I would receive it no later than the 14th as the latest date. I called the next day and found out that their new shipment of pcms had failed inspection. This was very discomforting to hear and even more disappointing that this was now the SECOND time they failed to keep me updated when they've experienced a delay in my order. Unacceptable communication and sense of urgency. I told them that my work truck has been out of commission solely because of them for nearly a month. All I received was an apology--no offer to refund any amount of my order or if there was anyway they could make up for them dropping the ball so much on this order. read more

These guys aren't scammers, exactly; they're more like unprofessional hacks. I ordered an ECM for my 1998 Dodge Dakota in April to resolve an intermittent stall issue that was directly related to a well-known problem with the factory ECMs in these models. The first ECM they sent me was junk-- I installed it and the truck wouldn't even start. That was a step backward. So I called the warranty department, and they sent me another while I kept my core and the defective one they'd previously sent me. I installed the second one, and the truck started up and ran just fine. Finally, success. That was May 11th. Now, however, after three months of flawless service, the truck has started intermittently stalling again. The last time was at the bottom of an exit ramp. I blocked traffic while I tried for five minutes to get it restarted. Finally, I got out of the truck, opened the hood, and tapped on the ECM a few times with my knuckles. Luckily, when I got back in and turned the key, it fired right up. That was last night, August 7th. Less than three months after install. I called today, and told the guy in the warranty department what had happened. He told me to send in the unit so they could test it. I asked him if he could send me a replacement first, like they'd done before, so I didn't have to pay for the shipping and live without my truck-- my sole means of transportation-- for a week or two. He proceeded to inform me that it would only be 1-2 business days. Apparently, he thinks the ECM will magically appear in his shop the very instant I drop it off at the UPS store 1300 miles from him. Shipping time, bench testing, diagnosis, flashing another ECM when they figure out that this one is junk, and return shipping time will put us well into next week, and today is only Monday. I'm a recent above-knee amputee and I haven't gotten my prosthetic yet, so I absolutely cannot live without my truck for that long. Even if it weren't a MAJOR inconvenience for me (which it definitely is), I still shouldn't have to tolerate it simply because these people can't stand to send me a replacement before they verify for certain what's wrong with the SECOND failed part they sent me. The guy said, "Well, the first time it was easier because it was just a few days after you bought it. But now it's been 4 or 5 months (this exaggeration was not accidental; it's actually been 3 months, but the longer he can stretch it, the more easily he can justify this crooked behavior), so we need to figure out if it's something in the truck that's causing the module to fail." Really? Was it something in the truck that caused the first piece of garbage they sent me to fail? The upshot is that I'll never do business with these people again. They're dishonest and incompetent, and they will make you jump through hoops and inconvenience yourself to make up for their mistakes. Also, they make a point of advertising that they test each unit in a running vehicle, which is a bald-faced lie. Their shoddy workmanship is clear from the moment you open the package, because they use shitty paint to cover up all the deep scratches in the case from the abuse it's gone through while being roughly pried open and then carelessly reassembled. Two of the four tabs securing the case together on the first ECM they sent were barely hanging on because they'd been bent incorrectly. Just save yourself the trouble, and go through your auto parts store or a reputable vehicle computer recycler. I found out the hard way that these guys have super-low prices only because they take shortcuts, rip people off, and sell used parts as remanufactured. Bad place, bunch of scam artists do not buy an ECU from this business, they will not honor their "lifetime" warranty and I'll explain what happened to me. Well what they mean by "lifetime" warranty is, as long as you give them your bad ECU (core), you get three ECU replacements in case the ECU they sent you goes bad and when you get the third and final one, and trust me you will need all three for sure, your warranty ends. Ok so I buy mine in Jan 2014 and it goes bad around Nov 2014 so they give me a second one, this unit was crap cause the "check engine" light stayed on, so after waiting another 4 days they give me another one, and this one lasted till July 2015. Keep in mind I only put about 20k miles on my car between Jan 2014 and July 2015. So I call them up around mid July and they start telling me that a lot of time passed but we'll TRY and honor the warranty, and they kept asking me if I wanted the extended warranty for $100 and I kept saying no I don't want it, well 2 weeks and a half go by and still nothing so I keep calling right and they finally give me the "supervisor" a guy named Rinzzo ( ext 107) who starts apologizing and assures me he will take care of this personally. So Rinzzo tells me he's gonna send it overnight which is a straight lie as I get it 5 days later, and when it finally does come it's defective cause the " check engine" light stays on all the time and so I call back and he starts apologizing again and says I'll send you another one. I ask him to send it overnight cause it has now been almost 4 weeks that I haven't been able to use my car and he says "No and you're lucky we're being nice and honoring the warranty" which Really shocked me so I say to him "what why? this is all happening because of your defective units and my warranty is still good" and he refused to acknowledge that, so you guessed it I wait another 5 days. Ok it finally gets here 5 days later and now I find out the car starts with no lights on the dashboard but the car won't stay on after 20- 25 minutes with the "No Bus " engine code in the odometer again and when it shuts off it won't start again until it cools off which could easily be about 2 hours later. So it's now been 5 weeks of not having a car I call Rinzzo, if that's his actual name, he puts me on hold for 10 minutes and tells me that they're done and they won't be able to help me anymore, especially since I didn't buy the extended warranty for $100, and those were his exact words. So the moral of the story here is that the "lifetime" warranty of All Computer Resources, Inc is a complete sham and if you ever need the 3rd ECU, and trust me you will, if you don't cough up the $100 cost for the extended warranty they will send you two bad units and completely waste your time for about a month, while you have no car. My guess is that the ECUs they give to the people who are supposed to be covered by their "lifetime" warranty are the sent in broken units of the new customers. I have a 03 Durango and I got the NO BUS code. My mechanic (works for chrysler but dose side work) told me its the CPM after going over the car. He told me to order one from All Computer Resources so I did. I called to see how long it would take and they told me 2-3 business days. That they have to program it and enter all the info and then bench test it. I placed the order (all cc and paypal) and go a confirmation on the 2-3 business days. After the 4th day I called to ask where my part was. I also ordered it over night with a $45 UPS charge. They told me they ran out and the person that dose the accounting/paperwork sends out that email. At this point I am mad as hell because I am renting a car waiting for the part. They got it a few days after (sent me a email to let me know) and sent it overnight. Because of the mix up they refunded my UPS fee. I received my CMP very nicely packed with a shipping return label to return the core (that's what gives you the warranty) I call my mechanic and he came over after work. He first checked again for any codes, then he checked the vin numbers then he installed the part. It is actually a easy job. We turned the key and music to my ears!!! My 5.9 was purring like a kitten! The mechanic then checked for codes and we drove it around about 1 mile. We turned it off and on to make sure everything was good. This was on a Friday and my truck sat over the weekend. My daughter started her freshman year of High School that week so early monday morning we were in the truck looking to take her to school. Guess what?? NO BUS!! I called them and they wanted me to try a factory reset and gave me detailed instructions on how to do it. After disconnecting the battery and PCM we let it sit for 2 hrs. We hooked it up and nothing. My mechanic then went over the entire truck, all the wires, cam sensors, crank sensors fuses everything you could check and found out that power was going into the PCM but no power out. The right side of the PCM was hot and thats not normal he said. He knew it was bad for sure now. The next morning I called and I was some pissed off. It could have been a very ugly phone call but the man who helped me was so good that he defused the situation. He was the most professional customer service rep that I have dealt with in a long time. He emailed me a form to fill out and had me sign it and email it back. He checked and told me that they definitely had one but it was going to take the 2-3 days to program it and bench test it. He gave me instructions on how to return the bad one. I emailed him later in the day to ask him to check that everything is in order and he replied back with a yes. Early that night I got a email from UPS with my tracking number!! They went all out to take care of me and that is the most important thing. If you don't read the rest of this, just know, avoid this company at all cost. I ordered/purchased and paid for an ECM on June 23, 2020 for a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, which was $143.89, and due to the necessity to get the ECM, I paid for overnight shipping as well, which was $55.00, totaling $198.89 in charges. I did not receive the ECM until a week later on July 1, 2020. They would not answer emails, and when I called them the tech was "still working on it". A 10-minute programming process, turned into a 6 day timeline for this company. Once I received the ECM, I had nothing but issues with it. The truck ran rough, the crankshaft positioning sensor no longer registered, which meant it had to go to the dealership. The dealership attempted over multiple days to get the ECM to work, but after multiple attempts they told me the ECM was faulty and they were actually able to reprogram the one I had in the truck to work, which took the Cadillac dealership about 20 minutes from disconnecting the ECM, programming it, and plugging the ECM back in, which they did not charge me for. I submitted for a RMA on July 7, 2020, 6 days after receiving it, it took them 24hrs to respond and they tried to provide technical support. On July 10, 2020, they finally sent me a RMA. I shipped the unit back and received confirmation they received the ECM on July 27, 2020 and I would receive a refund in 4-6 business days. My refund was to be issued between July 31, 2020 and August 4, 2020, even though I paid with paypal so they could have issued a refund the same day they received the ECM back. I emailed them on August 7, 2020, inquiring about my refund. I received a refund of $115.11. I don't know how I paid nearly $200 for an item, did not receive it on time, it did not work, and I returned it, and got 57% of my money back. read more

absolutely recommend this company i have been fighting with flagship1 for almost 6 months and am still waiting for my 3rd pcm attempt from them. desperately needing my truck to pull our rock raceing buggy to a event i contacted all computer resources. told them my situation and only 3 days after ordering i recived a great working pcm. causing us to make our event were my wife raced up our top 10 list from 9 to the 6 spot and broke a bunch of stuff on the buggy had a awesome day wouldn't have been possible with out this company really pulling through. check out bnt racing on facebook for all our central fl races. i really can't thank this company enough i really need my truck for daily use etc and its a blessing to get it back to business. i,ve never written any reviews but had to make this one they deserve the praise and wish i had read the hundereds and hundereds of bad reviews on fs1 they are horrific allways send me on hold for hours no one seems to have access to my information zero answers or help from anyone. once they recongize your number they start to not even answer or send you straight to a machine moments later had my wife call from a different number and bam answered but of course when she gave them my number to try and get an answer on my pcm she got sent on hold then told someone would contact her next day of course that was a lie. working in the automotive industry i know all to well how much it means to please customers and get things fixed these people are a scam and could give to craps if there product works its a big scam. keep your product past your money back time frame and if you want to return it they take all kinds of bogus fees and leave you with less than half the money you paid for a useless product. read more

I paid for a module that didn't work. Sent another, it didn't work. They promised a refund if I sent it back, so I did. I have no refund and no module. I would like to start out by stating that I own a professional automotive repair facility. I am an ASE certified Master Tech and have been in business over 30 years. I ordered a computer module from this company for a customers vehicle. I failed almost immediately. They replaced it in a timely fashion and that computer failed in just a few days. At this point, I was under considerable pressure from the customer to complete this repair, so AMS and myself decided to just return theirs for a refund and I would buy a computer from a local source. (I originally chose AMS because of their pricing and reviews.) The computer I purchased locally worked perfectly, and the customer is still issue free many months later, so clearly it was a problem with their module. Service with AMS, to this point, was fine. I understand that things happen, and if I were not under time constraints to get this job finished, I might have tried a third computer from them. When it came time to process my refund, that is where the wheels came off. After weeks on the phone, and many promises and excuses, I still have no refund. I sent the module back months ago as requested but get nothing from them. The customer service guys are very polite and they keep telling me it is an issue with management, but they have submitted the refund and just to be patient. I have been more than patient. I have paid them full price for a module that didn't work, (including a core charge) and now have neither a computer nor my money. Ridiculous. I honestly cannot recommend this company. read more

These people suck! Horrible products! Horrible customer service. I bought a computer over the phone and gave them the vin number of the truck and the exact make and model and details and they still screwed it up. They sent a computer for a 2wd instead of a 4wd. Ok. No big deal. I call them up and they send me another one out right away and tell me to send the wrong one and the core back in the return shipping box. So the new unit shows up and I plug it in....nothing. I email tech support and she tells me to disconnect the battery and plug back in. And nothing. I call a few days later and tell them I'm fed up and want a refund when I send their 2 jacked up computers back and he says no problem. When I get the refund it's only 89 bucks...........what? I paid 159 for it? I call them back and they tell me it's a 20% restocking fee and 12.50 for shipping times 3.... The shipping boggles my mind for one, why am I paying for ANYTHING? And for 2 why is it charged 3 times? There's only 2 computers and one of them shouldn't of even been sent to me..... I have been calling multiple times a day for seven days seeking resolution and I keep getting told to talk to the manager, but the manager is always busy. So they say they are leaving notes on her desk and she will get back to me.... Jen is her name. After calling repeatedly for a week and still not hearing back I filed a claim with the better business bureau. I called to let them know that and they didn't seem to care. I saved HUNDREDS of dollars by using "All Computer Resources". My 2006 P.T. CRUISER was experiencing some problems "SHIFTING GEARS FROM 3rd TO 4th GEARS" - or, going into "Overdrive" after going over 45 MPH. At first I thought it was the "Dreaded Transmission" causing the problem, and, the cost of the Transmission was about $900.00 - WITHOUT LABOR & INSTALLATION. Needless to say, I thought my car would be a "Lemon". I thought I was stuck with a car that I could never sell, and, facing the cost of getting another car on top of that. When I used the OBDII, and, "Scanned For Problem Codes - It Said P1603". I searched on the Internet for "related problems", and, discovered that it could be FIXED WITH A "NEW COMPUTER". Then I saw the prices at $860 to $1,200 for a "New Computer". But, on a YOUTUBE VIDEO A Woman showed me how to "Change The Computer And How To Save $800 By Using - All Computer Resources In Miami". Sure enough, I called there, and, was told that the "Computer Replacement COULD FIX MY PROBLEM CODE - P1603", and, it would only cost me $195.00, if I do it MYSELF. I'm disabled, and, 63 years old, and, guess what? - "YO ADRIAN - I DID IT"!! The car started right up, and, I immediately TESTED IT ON THE HWY, and, sure enough, THE CAR SHIFTED INTO 4th GEAR (OVERDRIVE) - I was saved, and, it only cost me $195.00!! If this isn't the BEST RESULT I COULD'VE EVER EXPECTED, I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS! - Thank-You "All Computers", you guys gave me MY CAR BACK!! I couldn't be more SATISFIED!! read more

I couldn't be more happy with my experience with All Computer Resources...I live in South Dakota...and I know nothing about cars. I initially thought my truck was having a fuel injector problem or a fuel pump problem...took it to the mechanic and the O2 sensor code was coming up...he started with the wiring...it fixed it for a few days and then it would come back...my truck never stopped running...but it ran really rough and felt as if it were going to break down... My mechanic told me that i would have to get a new PCM and that the Dodge Dealership would have to fix it...they could not... I researched what the PCM was and where it was located on my Ram 1500 and started looking online for ways to save myself money cuz I could not afford the $1200 the dealership was wanting... I came across this company with my son...I was skeptical...but I sent the VIN in to my truck and purchased the PCM... Today my truck runs perfect again...I will say that it did take a little longer for the part to ship...(2 days longer)...but it was well worth the wait...and well worth the money spent and saved... I went with a cheaper company first flagship. They took 3 weeks to even ship. They sent me a defective unit. tried contacting them with no luck so I immediately bought another from all computer resources and I am so happy i did. I received the PCM before the other scam company even responded, and this one actually worked! I cant speak for their warranty service as I just installed the unit but their shipping is very fast so long as you pay attention to your emails after ordering. They will need your original modules part number and I did not see an option to give them that info when ordering but not long after I placed the order I got an email saying they would need that and it would be up to a 2 day processing. I, being desperate, paid for next business day shipping and sure enough what I was told was exactly what happened. I am very happy with this company already. Longevity is another issue that remains to be seen but any amount of time without issues is good for a refurbished 21 year old unit. If ever I need another ecm/pcm I will not hesitate to order from here again. The slightly higher price is way worth it when you receive the correct non defective unit. Placed the order via their eBay store and sent information in the next day as requested. Was told a 3-5 day processing time as they needed to pull one off the shelf and prepare it and program it. After the 5 days thinking it didn't ship yet? I had the replacement PCM in my hands and I turned it over to the repair shop that did the diagnoses. This was my 2nd time replacing/ordering in the PCM for my parents Durango. Yes it should have been covered under the lifetime warranty- However that's on me as I lost the records when I ordered the replacement in. (Thought I ordered in a limited warranty PCM the first time..So that's my mistake and not on them.) Yep I put on my 'big boy pants' and admitted I should have maintained better records. I've also talked with the customer service a few times. Yeah it stinks having to be on 'hold' but I did talk with a 'human' and got a few questions answered. So listen up! I can't speak for everyone here. I can only report back my personal experiences that I have had so far. Would I use them again? Yep, if I needed a PCM and didn't have access to a good used one. My computer on my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee wasn't working properly and was draining the battery. Since it's an easy swap to replace the computer I decided to do it myself. I didn't have a company in mind to buy the computer from, so I started searching online. After I checked several companies and read many reviews I was skeptical about buying online. I check the dealer and their price was ridiculous. In my search of companies online, one company stood out as seeming to be reputable. That company was ACR. With a little trepidation I ordered the computer from them (paying up front). I gave them the VIN number of my Jeep and they assured me the computer would be plug and play. I received the computer quickly and it took less than 15 minutes to install. I started the Jeep and everything was as advertised. Even the remote door keys worked properly. I sent the core back to them and received an email from them saying they received it and started the warranty on the new one. I wish all company were these respectable. I don't do many reviews, but this company deserves my praise. I don't think you can go wrong buying from ACR. Thanks! read more

My 2003 dodge caravan. Broke down on me 125 miles away from home . I was stranded it wouldn't start. Or run I thought it was my starter. After going from shop to shop with different diagnosis , 2 finally concluded that it was the computer. So they wanted $1200 for parts and repair. At the end they didn't know what they were doing . So I decided to take it to the dodge dealer. They said it would be ready in a few hours so i took the computer i had bought at Auto zone. For them to install a day in a half later they said they still hadn't done anything frustrations ran high at that moment i towed it back to my house and took the part back to auto zone it turned out the dealership had messed with my van but didn't know how to properly program the computer. So at the end I started doing searches in Ebay and came across All computer Resources. Gave them my vin , miles, year , model, and within a few weeks they shipped my computer programed . I followed their easy install instructions. In the first key turn my van started . And has been running with no more problems.. I highly recommend . read more

This is the only way to respond to a post here. It is very obvious that the posting below from "Sam I" is from one of our competitors. This would be in attempt to sabotage our great reputation. I have not been able to find any customer from Henderson Nevada in our database. I did find the same exact post under a different name on another site. I am not going to say that our parts are 100% perfect, these are electrical units and some times damages are overlooked or happen during handling. We strive ourselves in great customer service. Unfortunately there is cases where the vehicle was not diagnosed properly and/or other issues with he vehicle were not corrected and damage the sensitive module. We are always here to help and work with our valued customers. We have, in many cases issue a replacement unit after concluding 100% that the damages were caused by the vehicle. We have a B on the BBB site which is much better than all our competition. We will not change our name as other companies do to prevent the consumer from reading real reviews from actual customers. read more

DO NOT BUY AN ECM FROM THIS BUSINESS! They keep sending you bad ECMs and they don't honor their lifetime warranty, bunch of con artists or SCAMMERS! The ECM they send you will not work then they send you another one that still doesn't work and then they charge you for the shipping & handling. What a waste of time & money and in the mean time you can't use your car cause they have your unit. This place wasted 3 weeks of my time and about a $100 in shipping and handling fees that I had to pay for, what a joke. I had to buy another ECM from one of their competitors there in Florida and my car has been running great now for three months. I think it's funny how this crooked business thinks that they're going to get away with cheating or RIPPING OFF so many people, I mean just scroll down and click on the "REVIEWS THAT ARE CURRENTLY NOT RECOMMENDED" section on this page and you'll see what I'm talking about, this place should be shut down.
