The bathroom is thoroughly updated, and the living room is gorgeous. The quality of attention to detail, and the guys' ability to explain issues and problem solve are first rate. The last thing you want in a contractor is to feel like everything is being done as easily and quickly as possible so they can get on to the next job. We never felt like that with Pinnacle. They listened to us, offered candid, helpful feedback, and always kept us in the loop about where we were in the process. When they were doing fine, detail work, they took their time to make sure it was done right. Our next big project was a deck replacement/expansion. Despite some delays caused by supply chain issues and poor plan checking by the county (both of which were beyond Pinnacle's control), they built a fantastic deck for our home. Again, we could not be more pleased with the quality of workmanship and how well we were treated during the entire demo and construction time. After several less than satisfactory forays into home renovation, we believe we have found a contractor who does great work, stands by his product, doesn't make you feel like your project is just another item on a "to do" list, and is great at communication. Were there some hiccups or questions? Of course; these weren't small jobs. But any time we had a concern, it was heard and addressed, immediately. From Dalton, the company owner, to foremen, subcontractors, or laborers, we always received the same message: "This is your home, and we want you to be pleased." And let me tell you, we are.

He was very apologetic and explained he got tied up at the office and forgot all about the appt. He said he'd accommodate my schedule -- I asked to reschedule to an appt on Monday 9/30 or Tuesday 10/1 as I would be traveling 10/2 for work. He assured me he would confirm for a morning appt on 9/30 or 10/1 by calling me over the weekend (9/28-9/29) Guess what. No call and no text. I don't mind that businesses are busy, but tell me so and I will find someone else to do the job. But to miss an appt and then assure me that I'd get a call over the weekend to reschedule for 9/30 or 10/1 and not follow through. Well that's a waste of my time. So I have scheduled with another roofing company.

Eugene was patient and thoughtful as we discussed various options to maintain and protect the waterproof membrane and strengthen the structural integrity of our expansive decks on a hillside. He was mindful of our budget and, as a general contractor, identified and repaired another area in our crawlspace. He came up with creative solutions, and he has a great sense of design and style. We ended up replacing our upper deck with Trex composite boards. On the lower deck, his crew replaced most of the redwood boards and repainted the deck, even the wooden joists of the upper deck, for both wood preservation and aesthetic purposes. His crew paid attention to details. He also did the stone facing on our portico. Eugene went above and beyond. He's honest, experienced, and pleasant to work with. I can tell that he is detail oriented when he did the first inspection. We had his team diagnose two molded base boards that was growing in the bathrooms. They showed up on time and help us discovered some leakage issues as well as showers not waterproofed. The went ahead and fixed the pipe and baseboard including re-doing the caulking.
