The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the great decor. It's such a nice shop with a cute outdoor seating area just out front. Seemed like a family-owned/operated joint, there were three bubbly employees behind the counter who were very friendly. They were laughing and joking with all of the customers. I enjoyed the banter very much. I sampled the cornbread caramel ice cream and it was delicious so I ended up getting a cup. Bonus - samples are provided on clean metal spoons (yay sustainability!). While I was waiting for my scoop, two more ladies walked in for the cornbread caramel ice cream as well so you know it's bangin. I'd love to go into crazy detail but I really want you to read my entire review and support this community business. Therefore, less words, but going to make them all count. First, let's straight up state: A strong 5 star recommendation. We've met one of the owners once and she was so nice to our young daughter. But real talk, the teenage/early twenties staff that works the counter is really nice and do a great job. All of them are patient, even with a 4 year old trying to decide on what she wants. I love that it's so close to her school and to our house -- the only reason why we aren't there more often is that it's only open Thursday-Sunday, so we gotta pace ourselves on the stash we have in the freezer. This is THE community ice cream shop. Period. Our daughter has enjoyed every flavor she's had. She loves ice cream. We go with the Almond non-dairy and it is phenomenal. For real, for real, we've started buying cups in-store and then pints to take home, during the same visit. The hip-hop theme is cool and the music collection keeps growing. Quality is on par with local LA ice cream joints such as Salt and Straw and Saffron and Rose. This black owned business has about 20 flavors each time i go. My fave is the cognac and currant (similar to a rum raisin). This one is vegan, non-dairy and soy free. The owners are a very nice husband and wife couple. They are Howard University alums also. They serve your ice cream and make the ice creams from scratch so they know all the ingredients. They have at least 6-8 dairy free ice creams on the menu. They also sell cool gifts and novelty items inside. The place has a really cool vintage hip hoppy theme overall. I think right now, as they are starting out, its only open on weekends. read more

LOVE!!! We hired All Chill as a wedding vendor. We replaced the traditional wedding cake with ice cream (was more personal to our love story). Genelle and her team were such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The first email inquiry was responded to right away. Followed by a "tasting" where we were able to test popular flavors already on the menu, along with custom flavors which we emailed ahead of time. We ended up choosing four flavors: (1) our custom, Graham Cracker Sweet Cream (dairy), (2) Chocolate Raspberry (dairy), (3) Honey Lavender (vegan), and (4) Citrus & Basil (sorbet). All Chill was all good on the Sony studio lot today. Ordered (@2:15pm) past the tail end of their allotted time here (11:30am-2:00pm) and a lot of their ice cream (along with the dry ice) was beginning to melt! Nonetheless, I sampled a couple flavors and decided on the HONEY LAVENDER. I have to echo another reviewer that it is indeed "divine". The flavor was concentrated and balanced with the perfect honeycomb : lavender ratio. I got 1 scoop and it came in a cup with a piece of waffle cookie which was nice and crisp but a bit too sweet for my taste (the ice cream was already sweet). Looking forward to supporting this business and trying their ice cream again with the integrity of ice cream still intact (and not mid melt). read more
