I explained the situation to Response Crew and I was relieved to receive reassurances from the manager of Response Crew that he'd send one of his best door guys out and that we would not be disappointed. The manager also called back twice to make sure we were happy with the job. Although I missed those voice messages I figure posting about my experience here will make up for that. It's always tough when you are trying to hang a new door on an old frame that may not be perfectly straight anymore. And yes only time will tell if the fit holds. But I will say that even if we do have another problem in the future, I know where to go - Response Crew is a no brainer and for sure I'll be a repeat customer for future needs!

Overall, very reasonable pricing in comparison to some of the other quotes I received. Definitely not the cheapest (and also not the most expensive), but they pride themselves on quality of work - so you pay for what you get. Within 24 hours of my initial quote request, they had me scheduled, and had their handyman, Carlos Hernandez, out to complete the job. Carlos was professional, courteous, and did a fantastic job. When he arrived, he briefly scoped the job, measured, and explained what he needed to do/roughly how long it would take him. From there, he went out to get the necessary parts and returned within the hour to complete the job. He cut the trim to length in my driveway, installed the trim, and caulked within 45 minutes. Frankly, the new trim Carlos installed looks even better than the original! I would highly recommend Carlos and the Response Crew team to anyone in need of general handyman services. While I only used them for this small job, they will definitely be hearing from me again for other work to be done!

Unable to source a new base, F&R seamlessly welded a new post on to the original one. I also requested a total reupholstery with new leather and padding. The chair now looks better than new. The other item was restrapping a Breuer chair - less challenging perhaps - but perfectly executed. The company kept me informed throughout the process and were unfailingly civil and responsive. There were cheaper options available, but I have no regrets paying the slight premium for the quality they provided. I am glad to give Furniture & Repairs my highest recommendation.

I just assumed I was predisposed to disorganization. Meghan came over for a consultation and looked it over, assured me things weren't really all that bad, and talked over what would be involved. She said it would take about 5 hours. I was expecting a few days, so I was thrilled. We booked a time for the organizing day, and she arrived on time and ready to go. It was so helpful to have a professional give me tips and tell me where to put things. She listened to how I use my space in order to help me figure out the best places to put things. My home office is amazingly clean and tidy now, and the mountain of paperwork was turned into a molehill. I took 40 lbs of paper to the office store to shred, and my paperwork backlog is now only about 2 inches. I'll finish it in a workday or two. My kitchen is logically arranged now, my closet is tidy, and those random boxes under the bed have been sorted. Everything I own now has a place, and I feel confident that I'll be able to keep things tidy by just returning everything to its place when I'm done with it. We sold our house in Chandler and relocated to far east Mesa. My husband and I are not physically…read moreable to pick up and load/unload boxes or furniture anymore, so we hired a moving company. I was incredibly relieved that Get Moving was able to accommodate a last minute date and time change, due to issues with closing on the sale. The movers showed up on time and were prepared to haul our household. A few things got broken, but nothing was devastating. Unfortunately, we also had to leave a few items behind, as the truck ran out of space. We crammed as much as possible in to our cars and said goodbye to our old home. Although the truck left our old house a good 30 minutes before we did, I arrived at our new home before they did and we all took the same route. I was shocked they were not there already, but brushed it off. The gentlemen that handled our move were both very polite and professional. The move took twice as long as I was expecting, 7 hours, as we had moved from an apartment to that house in 3 hours. We didn't mind so much, it was worth it to not have to do any of the heavy lifting. By the end of the day, we were in our new house and starting to put things away, so all is good.
