Karl Sherry arrived on-site the same day as our initial phone call to assess the project scope and develop a fixed price project cost. We agreed (in person) on the project scope of my requirements and Karl's competitive proposal and his recommendations for lighting fixture product selection, layout and wiring clean-up and new construction. I was able to clearly share in advance my project acceptance criteria. We agreed on a same week installation date and time (that was promised that Karl would reconfirm work date/time). Our budget was tight, as we were investing heavily in wedding photography, so we were happy to find them pretty late in the planning process, and appreciated their flexibility. We requested a documentary style video of the wedding with minimal editing, to keep the costs down. Their audio services during the wedding with wireless mics, amplified music and sound mixing were perfect and exactly what we needed. The final wedding video product was beautiful and they did a great job with nice editing and segmentation that captured the feeling and emotions of the day. We drove to Nevada City to record our love story months before our wedding but he didn't work on the love story until right before our wedding. We gave him photos months in advance and told us the night before he couldn't find them. I was stressed enough. Luckily a few hours later he called and found them but he was staying up late to work on it. There was a miscommunication with his videographers and they missed me and my husband entirely getting ready for the wedding. Greg even argued with his contractor right in front of my wedding party. It was embarrassing and I was devastated I will never have any video of me getting ready. Luckily I gave him photos of me getting ready for our video. He did a good job putting the video and quick 5 minute video together even though he didn't have footage. The quality of the video was ok but he's better at being a MC.
